How will Mnet react to Lay, Jackson, Pinky, and Cheng Xiao?

As we all know, these 4 top Chinese KPOP stars are the main trainers for the Chinese version of Produce 101, which MNET is now claiming as plagiarized.

I do not think you can find a group of 4 Chinese KPOP stars that are trendier than this lineup. But considering that MNET adjust cried foul and all these agencies and their artists participated in this, it seemed like MNET did not know how closely their show would be copied.

Knowing Mnet, would there be a backlash to these artists? because I just do not see how they won't be affected given that Mnet (CJ E&M) is much bigger than these agencies.

The producer that created and in the origin of Produce 101 is no longer working for MNET and now signed a deal with YG ENTERTAINMENT. Yes it's a MNET Show but they are not the creative mind behind this show, so they can be bitter but the creator himself said nothing about it yet.

I'm pretty sure they have the right for it no matter who created it.

It doesn't matter what the producer says.  The producer was an EMPLOYEE of MNET who owned the show.  The "producer" isn't an American producer... some Jewish guy who raises the money and owns the rights.  He's literally a "PD" or a director hired to stage and film the show.

You said it yourself lol... he's "no longer WORKING" for MNET and he's now working for YGE.

Bottom line is that yes they plagiarized the show.  The Chinese plagiarize everything because stealing IP is encouraged by the Communist CCP government as a means of soft economic warfare against its neighbors and weaken what the Chinese see is dangerous superiority in pop culture by both Korea and Japan and a very real "danger" to influence the Chinese people.  Any influence apart from the government is considered and existential threat.

This is why for example the Chinese shows are so DELIBERATE in copying.  I mean I'm Chinese... Chinese are smart and are some of the best copycats and followers in the world.  If we wanted to make a similar show but one that could claim no culpability Chinese PDs could copy *just enough* to not be copyrighted.  But Chinese DELIBERATELY do NOT do that... they copy everything down to the color schemes and logos.

this isn't a "mistake" or reflect a lack of copying ability on the part of Chinese.  it's a DELIBERATE message to the Chinese public... "we can provide you the SAME entertainment."  It's literally preventing Chinese from wanting to watch the "Korean version" because it's literally the exact same thing down to the sets logos, scripts and plots except with Chinese faces.

as for the other idols... no.  There will be 0 payback or justice.  Why?  These Chinese artists are all protected by their respective Korean Kpop labels, including SM.  MNET will take no action and these artists will not suffer anything.

What I find shady is that Lay is from SM, Jackson from JYP, Cheng Xiao from Starship and Pinky from Pledis. Surely these Big Korean agencies gave these artists the green light for them to appear as judges in this unlicensed, ripoff P101 show.

Does Suzy's agency check to make sure all movies and dramas Suzy participate are licensed and not plagiarized? It's the producer and the owner's responsibilities, not the actors/ actresses.
