Bosnia_HyunaLover <3 10,170 Posted February 2, 2018 Share Posted February 2, 2018 Secret Garden debuted in top 10 on Melon and reached the peak at freaking #2 on the same day It kept longevity for 3 weeks but then started falling off and now they are around #50 Bboom Bboom debuted on the second day of it's release at #91 and charted for 3 hours in the first week In the second week it re appeared in top 100 and kept rising day by day, they reached their peak at #10 today (let's hope for more) What do you think is the more successful song between these 2? THey reached a new tier of popularity now. OMG's song really didn't help them that much. Gilraen92 9,334 Posted February 2, 2018 Share Posted February 2, 2018 Obviously Bboom Bboom is more successful, it's clearly becoming a trendy/viral song, while OMG's song started high because they already had some public recognition so people checked out their song, but they failed to keep that high position. Even though a very high peak of #2 in realtime. OMG highest Melon daily is #22 and they have charted around 40-50th in Melon daily chart for 2 weeks now. They still show sign of some longetivity even with may new releases. Also they still consistently in Top 25 for Genie, Soribada and Top 15 for Bugs and remember this is their fourth week now. This is better than any songs they released so far. And with the Gaon downloads, they have a pretty good ranking ---> 5 - 9 - 21 (the 3rd week has many release; Jonghyun, Suzy, iKon). Momoland is a sleeper hit for sure. But they have just passed OMG last week. And their Gaon downloads has just risen ---> 65 - 49 - 14 -12 I think right now OMG is still has more download than MML (let's wait for monthly chart but I will predict the downloads numbers to be around 210,000 and 180,000 for January.) But Bboom Bboom will surely past Secret Garden. However, both songs still did really well. They both get their first 2 wins. Everyone is happy.
