Gokusen - 8/10

It's a little old school manga story, but still relatable nonetheless. What's really valuable about this story is how the teacher inspires her students into being well-established men for the adult world. The way the teacher cared for her students, and how these students looked up to her was touching.

Plot-wise, the cycle is the same and predictable. Little bouts of humor are pretty low-brow and juvenile, but still well-executed. The comedic factor in this manga is one of its charms, making it light-hearted. The characters are pretty simple, and being misguided delinquents, need some warming up to.

Even with having romance as a subplot, don't expect too much romantic development between the male and female lead. It's stagnant all throughout, but I didn't really mind.

Art is just simple, a little rushed and unrefined for today's standards, but improves as the chapters go on.

Had to look on MyAnimeList since it'd been so long since I last finished one too many incomplete ones tbh

But the last one I read was RiN. Wished it had a better ending. But was still a pretty good read.

Haruiro Astronaut

8.5/10

Very cute twin protagonists, all the main boys are lovable and deserve love, but three boys and two twins, so not everyone ends up with someone. Just five chapters so not much funny business which is refreshing, don't need 50 subplots that keep the couple apart. Also the main twin ends up with my boy of choice, do recommend.
