Isn't it because he's the father to all Quincies, well at least he proclaimed himself "father of all Quincies". And Ichigo is... part Quincy because of his mom. So, he calls him son. I think that's the reason. Bleach is my fav manga, had been for years and years. But damn, that ending was soooo disappointing, I'm so mad! A lot of things were left unsaid, unrevealed : Urahara? Yoruichi? And Grimmjow?! Damn, my fav character ever, Grimmjow.... Tite Kubo did tease us at some point, showing him without revealing him totally and then... the end. I don't get it! I'm not satisfied at all! It's sad that such a great manga, which was part of the BIG 3, along with One piece and Naruto, had an ending like this.
