The 10th volume of manga Sankarea reveals that the manga series will be ending next volume. The final volume will be released November 7, 2014 and contain at least one special chapter. 

 

The series, created by mangaka Mitsuru Hattori, began publishing in 2009 and received a TV anime adaptation in 2012.

Yen Press has announced the new additions that will be joining their manga line-up and upcoming light novel imprint program "Yen On."

 

LN titles include:

• Kagerou Days
• Sword Art Online: Progressive

Also included is Reki Kawahara's newly announced LN series Zettai naru Isolator which is planned to be released as close to the Japanese release date as possible.

 

Manga titles include:

• Akame ga Kill!
• Secret
• Sword Art Online: Progressive
• Kagerou Days

Most titles announced will begin being released in early 2015.

 

It was also announced that the last two volumes of Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days and the next omnibus volume of Kingdom Hearts II will be released late 2014.

According to the upcoming issue of Magazine Special, a new Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE manga will be serialized in the magazine. Similar to how the original series was connected to xxxHolic, the new manga series will be tied to the sequel, xxxHOLiC:_Rei, that CLAMP is currently publishing. The series will debut on August 20th, in the August issue of Magazine Special.

Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE was serialized in Kondansha's Weekly Shounen Magazine between May 2003 and October 2009. xxxHolic was serialized in Bessatsu Shounen Magazine from February 2003 to 2011, and its sequel began serialization in Weekly Young Magazine in March 2013.

Yukito Ayatsuji has announced that he will begin writing a sequel to his horror light novel Another. The sequel, tentatively titled Another 2, is will be set in the year 2001. The new novel is set to begin serialisation this Fall.

The original light novel has been adapted both into a manga and an anime.

I've read Bloody Kiss, Vampire Knight, Barajou no Kiss etc ;p some others I forgot the name of, but as for manga, I always prefer shoujo or some with beautiful male characters.

lol volume 4 of Akumetsu was the best one so far. Shou is is nuts man. 

I saw a lot of Deathnote comparisons for this manga but he's much more likable than Light. 

 

I need to read it more often. I should be much farther than i am.

Finally caught up with the recent chapters of Assassination Classroom.

I chose the wrong time. That freakin' cliffhanger.

Since no one comes around these parts, I feel the need to lay my piece here. I just finished re-reading (I'm pretty sure this is the seventh time and each time the same effect) Shin Angyo Onshi which is without a doubt my favorite manga. 

 

I try to describe it beyond the surface which is an ex government general travels the world after the fall of his country bringing justice because it's more than that. For one, Munsu is just about the perfect character. A staunch realist who enacts justice under the basis of the law. He's not a superhero as he staunchly maintains that the law is the guiding compass of what he does. As with anyone with his role, there are moments he doubts himself and I think those are the moments that really layer his character as he notices the flaws and the lack of perfection in trying to follow things through but he always does, even when it's not pretty or favorable. He doesn't claim that what he does is right only that it is objective and he follows it. I notice despite his free spiritedness. He's almost always carried a burden that required him to perform his duty. Yet, it is his self-assuredness that allows him to see the reality when no one else can. 

 

The philosophy of this manga this time really appealed in that, it was my focus this time. As definitely the idea of what reality is has kind of always existed. I also loved the blend of history and mythology and really re-read just about every note. Almost every character, every story has a historical or mythological basis. 

 

It's just so bloody good. I never re-read anything much less finish anything. I've left a lot of very good story lines hanging telling myself I'd finish them again like Claymore. This manga since I first read it just took a hold of me. I am actively seeking the volumes for purchase.
