Photographers of OH: have you ever used coloured smoke for a shooting?

my problem is I wanna use coloured smoke bombs for a shooting in a forest but I figured it might look like there's fire somewhere and I might get a fine for it

 

if you've done it how did you do it did you ask for permission or smth

depends what country youre in but yes i would let the park rangers know and ask them permission

Not yet no, but these look super cool. However I'm afraid it also has became a bit of a mainstream aesthetic somehow, but still worth to give it a try!
