I would throw my bias to one side like I do with my trash. I seriously wouldn't handle it, it will hurt me deeply to try to forget this person but it will hurt me more to know what he did. I guess it will be eazy to stop being his fan as I don't know the real him, and for the same reason I wouldn't hate him either. I would forget him as a fan if he ever came out to ask for forgiveness, but I'm not sure then what I would do.

What about you?

Ps: You're all saying that it "depends on what they have done" but it doesn't (well not here), it depends on your beliefs, on what you believe is bad to say or do, the things you truly believe in, stand for. I should had been more specific. -.-

Unless they commited crimes against the law, no i wouldn't really care, since I stan my bias group for the music first and foremost...

Also I'm fully aware of the society they live in, so their morals don't really interest me at the end of the day lol. It's nice enough that they seem decent/good people to me, but i don't idolize them... i mean, there have already been a few instances where i found their behaviour insensitive and ignorant...

I'm not a close person with my biases so it wouldn't hurt me at all. Their morals and acts do not interest me at all. I may give my opinion about it, if I agree or not but I really don't care. The only purpose that they're my biases in the first place is that because they entertain me well when they're on stage and their music is good.

It depends on what beliefs we're talking about here. I like certain idols but I have no obligation to stay their fan so I'd have no problem moving onto something/someone else should they do something I disagree with. I don't see the point in being intensely loyal towards someone who doesn't even know I exist

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

As long as they're a decent person and don't commit actions against the law, I'd still stan/care for my bias. If it's just like we have different opinions on things like divorce or same sex marriage and all that, then I'll still care. However, if it's like child abuse and something to that effect, then I'm out.

It really depends on what they do.

My belief is that Sehun looks fug in blond with a mid part but he was blond with a mid part for the longest time and I didn't throw him away.

My belief is that people should act their age but Sehun acts like he's 12 but I didn't throw him away.

Etc, etc.

You put it nicely, but how many bias do you have? LOL When I think of "bias" I usually think of one which is where these threads come from. It's obviously harder to stop caring for your bias when it actually is a bias group of more than three members and you care more for their music than them as persons. But it's understandable.

Oh you meant individual bias? I'm Jonghyun biased but i consider myself an OT5 stan, so i guess all the SHINee members yeah

I think that i was the most angry with them, when I thought they were lipsyncing the SBS Gayo Daejun lmao

I was reaaally annoyed, threw a fit and bitched about for a hour or so untill i saw the fancams lol

In comparison when they had other controversial performances, I didn't have much of a reaction except for "that's ignorant and insensitive", mostly because it's something that i expect from their culture in general and because yep, i care less about their morals than their skills, performances and stuff.
