ANYWAY, I'm proud of her and this is not the first time she's been in the top 10 of the yearly chart, in fact her debut song was no 8 in 2012 when there was a shit load of competition (and she scored 3 million downloads in total)

 

Pretty much for most of her career, she's maintained a cumulative of AT LEAST 1 million downloads in total every year..........that's pretty impressive

 

But whatever, people can say what they want but Korean netizens have said a million times that it's the combo of her voice, the song's message, the timing, and the platform of the drama that made it so big

 

The song itself & her voice just elevated it and made it last so damn long (it's still never dropped below the top 50 of MelOn and it's been 1 year)

Dumb. It's by far the biggest of the Goblin songs.

 

The Goblin association is obviously part of it, but it's a really well-written song and sung incredibly by Ailee. It ticks every box.

she released a song as soon as her OST hit big but tanked and barely chart. Her last cb tanked but the pre release did fine.
