I think Jimin and Taehyung's friendship is lovely, and so cute and you can clearly make out that they are very close. But I want to draw your attention to this, How interesting is it that Jungkook actually check to see if Taehyung write something about him while they both supposed to do write letter to someone else? Later when Suga says he is not have someone he can see as a friend of his own age in the group, like Tae / Jimin and Hobi / RM, Jungkook is quietly approves him, it really hurts me. Because Tae is the only person in the group who seems to be the closest friend to him, like a friend of the same age. Tae doesn't care so much about honorofic titles. If Jungkook hits him, he does not try to hit him back harder like Jin. He volunteers to play all kinds of games with him and does not expect Jungkook to act like an adult. Like Jimin said, If Tae is involved in this game, Jungkook will also take part. For Jungkook, Tae is the only person in the group who can really make a special bond with him. Maybe that's why he wanted Tae to write something about him. Because as he says, Tae usually does not do serious talk with him, he prefers Jimin. It seems clear that Jungkook wants to know what Tae thinks about him. But I think it's related to Jungkook's personality. It very much seems to me that Jimin and RM are someone who find it easy and comfortable to talk about feelings with others, and it comes to them naturally. We know that because the other members have said the same things over and over again, especially about Jimin. While Tae rarely talks about things like that with Jungkook or Suga or J-Hope. Simply because none of them feel comfortable showing their vulnerability, and none of them are good at sharing their feelings or problems, so there is no one in their relationship to initiate it. No matter how close they are Taehyung and Jungkook have a hard time doing that for each other. Jungkook repeatedly said it was difficult to open his feelings. Like, He cried so much during Tae's talk about his grandmother, but when his talk was over he did not hug him like Jimin. He did not even try to get close to him, but he looked at Tae/Jimin hugging, like he envying to them, really really wanted to hug Tae, comfort him, cry with him. But still he didn't. After so many years, Jungkook finally found a person who might be close to him, but it still seems like he's trying to learn the other side's feelings while trying to hide his feelings for himself. I wish both of them to talk more with each other, to open their feelings to each other. Obviously Jungkook needs this. I think Jungkook is Demisexual. So he can not get close to everyone. This takes time and effort for him. He needs to get close to start an relationship. He must knows the other person well and approaches him/her from every direction. It does not matter male or female, I think it's the only thing he needs a strong connection. He's trying to understand Tae here, but he does not seem to know how to make it. He defines himself as a body of adult, minor of mind. Maybe he thinks he needs to grow to be able to do that, I think he might be right. He's just 19 years old. He needs time to understand his own feelings and the feelings of the one he has emotionally linked to. I honestly believe that they both survived the difficult times. I want you to pay attention to Jungkook's reactions while Tae reading Jimin's letter and afterwards. Then I think you'll understand what I'm talking about.^^ I actually found this somewhat readable until the word "demisexual". People would come up with all sorts of bs trying to present themselves as being as "unqiue" and "special" as their imagination allows for. The guy is probably just going through a tough time emotionally and mentally, and so might not be thinking clearly or might be in denial about certain things, such as everything about him screaming gay (his dance videos are iconic tho). But yeah I'm not buying this "asexual" shit for a second. I would also imagine that a Korean idol would look a little bit more nervous during a coming out and wouldn't do it in a freaking vlive. My guess is that you're extremely insecure and self-conscious for whatever reason (excessive weight, social anxiety, trauma, defective upbringing etc.) and have therefore developed some kind of mental barriers strong enough to convince you that you have no sexual feelings towards other human beings. The only way I personally can fathom the existence of asexuality is as a manifestation of some psychological mechanism (most likely a defense mechanism) or as a result of substantial developmental defects. But not as a sexual orientation which by definition implies sexual attraction towards someone or even something (like atheism is not a religion). As for Hansol, I think he is going through an obviously difficult period in his life, first of all mentally. He is most likely aware of his non-heterosexual identity but it may cause him great discomfort given the socially unfavorable situation he is currently in: the homophobic country, the additional pressure due to being an idol, the future enlistment, etc. All of that is more than enough to give rise to very strong internalized homophobic feelings that could result in him denying his homosexuality and consequently claiming to be asexual. That's just my theory which makes pretty good sense to me but may of course be entirely wrong. There are just too many suspicious moments with many male idols. (even from other groups, for example Shinee Key). For a long time, i was thinking that Sunggyu is 100% straight. He probably is..... but i am not that sure anymore. Maybe he is bi-curious or bi cause sometimes he is doing fanservice a little bit too well... i also think Sunggyu is mostly into girls but maybe he is open-minded and curious. well, just my opinion. Imo, Infinite has a high chance of at least 2 gay members. Woohyun and Myungsoo maybe ? My 2nd top candidate for the gay throne would be Sungjong. I came to kpop around 2006 or so and soon discovered my gayday was ringing off the hook. You must understand, I came out in 1977 when the entertainment industry was about as closeted as South Korea is today, it's very similar. Regular back-up dancers back then didn't have to worry about being in the closet, this area of the business was always out and vocal...but it was fun to find out dirt about performers to see if we were right (today you call it receipts..we called it 'getting the dirt') When I was a dance teacher, I have been able to spot students would would eventually come out as gay..and this was when they were 8 years old. I would run into them years later and they would introduce me to boyfriends....so my gaydar is pretty well defined. I may, from time to time, share. I know my gaydar is pretty good because I set up a major Hollywood movie star with his first boyfriend..and this star is STILL in the closet. That's his right...I will not divulge who it is. For me, having worked in front and behind camera, I know when things are staged, and when I should pay attention. Normally what catches my eye is not what is said, but how something is expressed. I watch closely for certain mannerisms. Those who wish to ship people within the same group is a fun fantasy, but I doubt it is ever real. As a professional, you don't have sex with cast members, too much drama. You do, however, date other performers outside your group. Anyway, if you wish, I'll try and post my list of who I think is gay or not. You should know that being Gay has little to do with sex partners....but it DOES have a lot to do with who you can romantically fall in love. That's all for now. I might regret it but I choose to believe what you've said, mostly because I would love to hear the opinion of a mature professional who is gay and also knows the industry from the inside rather than that of female teenage shippers and horny gay virgins (sorry not sorry).
