I don't really backtrack through pages here so idk about that but a few weeks ago I saw Yoonseok being discussed so that's why I brought it up. Yoongi is deffo not straight but I don't think he likes any of the members in that way. And I think Yoonseok blew up after the whole Hwagae market/ Sope thing, whenever that started. But that's irrelevant to what I'm saying.

 

I don't think I've been able to word my thoughts correctly, which has led to a lot of misunderstanding. I meant to say that I hate how people veer towards ships once they get popular and tend to dissect every interaction and turn something normal into something romantic. Like, it's not that serious.

dw I get what you're saying. I'm not a fan of people dissecting looks in particular. Like when someone is looking at someone else, if you're a shipper you're naturally inclined to think those glances are something more (while we're on the topic of BTS, during Wings promotions there was a lot of talk about Jungkook being jealous when Taehyung interacted with someone else, based on his stare. But I didn't think much of it bc honestly I've noticed he spaces out a lot). I always dismiss those kind of interactions (if you can even call it interactions) because sometimes it's simply a guy looking at a guy (or a girl looking at a girl, or a boy looking at a girl) for no particular reason. Like you said it's not that serious, and I'm a bit wary of people taking RPF shipping so seriously. I wouldn't want any kpop ship to turn into Larry Stylinson for example.

so is there a possibility for male idols to date like that as well? I mean, we've seen a lot of interactions who we had no idea existed between male idols of different groups together. I wouldn't be surprised,ofcourse, friendships could be made but i've seen interactions(who could again be perceived as fanservice,who knows,lets also think realistically to this matter) who seem to be  a little ... too much?

And idols are busy 24/7 how do you expect them to casually meet each other and interact so closely all of a sudden when they are locked in a dorm or a plane or anywhere for most of their lives?

for example, VIXX do not have a restriction from dating rule but even though they mentioned they have very little time for dating to happen anyway because they are being busy as well. 

And maybe dating through DMs are possible. At least,i've noticed these. Sorry if this is out of topic,because i unconciously change topics from the first paragraph to the other without realizing. 

 

I don't see why not. Maybe some idol would contact an idol who's known to be gay/bi within the kpop inner circle (as I'm sure that's the case) and ask them for contact information of other possible gay/bi idols. And then contact them themselves.

I always thought that it's easier to disguise romantic relationships as just friendships as I don't think there's much scrutiny with them as compared to relationship within members. Like I'd sooner believe V/Park Bogum might be something rather than V with his members.

Since I can't speak Korean, I can't really judge for myself, but I think it's safe to say JB does still have the most issues with toxic masculinity out of GOT7 (i.e. insecurity about his masculinity and heterosexuality).

I was going to say the same thing. Frankly when that happened I wasn't surprised, the level of toxic masculinity he has displayed in the past is noticeable. you know, he's a man, he does manly things, whatever that means

So anyone else notice how damn awkward TOP looked on Radio Star when everybody was talking about relationships..? He seemed nervous from the start, but at that point he was sitting there looking down and I've noticed people never really ask him about anything romantic in general. His groups members and the interviewers also tended to make this deal out of him being eccentric and bizarre, and I get where they are coming from - he is the artsy type - but I'm starting to think there's more behind it too. It's just that he's the oldest (getting close to marrying age) and the visual, yet the only rumors about him in a romantic sense were very strange and pretty clearly fake. GD has dated, Taeyang is dating, Seungri has his sex scandals, and we're all pretty sure Daesung has a wife and kids somewhere in Japan lol. Daesung briefly mentioned dating as well during the interview. But TOP just seems so far removed, idk. I think perhaps it throws people off that he's 'manly', and GD seems the more obvious gay one, but I think GD may actually be bi at this point, and TOP is probably gay.

TOP had the shin minah dating rumor/scandal back in 2008 which seemed legit (or as legit as they go) but I do think he's gay. Can't really imagine him with a woman.

does anyone actually have any proof of park bogum going to gay clubs in SK? i see a lot of people in here throwing it around but im not seeing any proof. some of you said some youtubers confirmed it, but i havent seen any of those confirmations being posted yet. (also it's possible that some guys may simply resemble park bogum and not actually be the real bogum... i mean, it's kind of hard to see when you're drunk and in the dark).

 

it's hard to believe considering how he's a household name, is part of a religious cult, and getting exposed would no doubt end his public favour and stall his career as a rising actor.

I first heard it in a reddit post. It was about Bogum/Irene (anyone with a brain can see how fake that is) and a random Korean guy just said he met him in a gay club and that he was with his famous boyfriend.

 

Firstly, I must say that I'm not really into stanning or collecting receipts. But I've been following T.O.P for quite a while and here are my reasons to believe that he is gay:

 

- no public record of him showing any interest in women

- when he did make out with women for film roles, it looked very unnatural and awkward to me (I mean his kiss scene in Tazza 2)

- his overly artsy and odd personality in general

- the rumour (I still don't know how true it is, it probably isn't) about him and GD being caught while being "too close" during Bigbang's trainee days

- although his very masculine, my intuition (or gaydar or whatever you call it) makes me easily see him being gay. It's not the case  at all with Seungri or Taeyang, for example. 

 

Moreover, I think GD is either bi or gay because of the stereotypical gay mannerisms and gestures that slide through from time to time and his pretty feminine features. And gaydar again, of course.

I used to be a GD stan and I never heard about GD/TOP being too close during their trainee days. I know they have many shippers but I literally never heard about that rumor. I do think TOP is gay though. Probably into older men tbh.

Since we're on the topic of straight girls fetishizing gay/bi men, I've noticed that a lot of shippers and/or owners of nsfw twitters are bisexual/lesbian women. Do you guys think bisexual/lesbian women can also partake in the fetishizing of gay/bi men (in this case idols) done by straight women? Or would you say there's a difference there because they're also a part of the LGBTQ community? The common, I would even say mainstream, opinion here is that Suga is bi/pan. I'm writing this post because I think that this opinion is the one of the WRONGEST in this thread. I would like to apply to people who are stating such things and ask them (or you, if YOU are among them) a few questions.

Question #1.

Do you really think that BTS member (any of them, moreover, member of any k-pop band) could use in his song a line as, for example "my tongue can send only boys to Hong Kong" or could say during the interview "yes, ofc, i care about gender, i love only boys"? Do you really think it is possible? Don't you think that this man just gave light hints about his sexual orientation, because he can't say it directly, because, you know, it is KOREA and they are IDOLS? Just a little hint that "i have an interest in boys", because he COULDN'T say that he hasn't got interest in someone else.

I'm just wondering why most of you take things in such an easy way, like, all that people say or do is their 100% truth. No, guys, life is not that easy. Especially, if you are in Korea. Especially, if you are an idol.

Okay, some of you will say that "ofc no! it's not just about his words, he is spreading SUPER STRONG bi/pan vibes!". That's why the second question exists.

Question #2.

If you call Suga's vibes bi/pan vibes, what then you call gay vibes? No, seriously, sometimes it seems to me that people who talk about it simply have never seen Suga's acting, I would say even existing. Or, probably, they have never seen bi/pan males. Have you ever seen bi/pan males? Have you talked to them? If the answer is positive, is it similar to what you see in Suga living his everyday visible for us life? Don't, please, say, that you are a bi/pan woman, so you can feel these vibes. Bullshit. It's not connected in any of universes. To be honest, i think, people, who say such things are simply not really familiar with BTS and like to eat what they are fed or have a broken gaydar. Talking about any kind of vibes? Please, make a real research digging tones of photos, videos, gifs. Then talk.

 

Because I firmly believe that in BTS Suga has the strongest gay vibes. Even kings of homosexuality in this thread - Jimin and V - could be suspected in bi/pan vibes, but, seriously, NOT Suga.

I get what you're saying (I actually remember asking in this thread why people were convinced he was bi and not gay before I got into bts but people misinterpreted my questions so I did not push it any further) but tbh I do think yoongi is interested in girls. Whether he's bisexual leaning towards women or men I have no clue, but I don't think he's gay. I think there are ways to hint at being gay, but considering the fact that he emphasized that he doesn't care about gender (when he didn't have to) tells me that he really doesn't.

 

As for the gay vibes, I think a big factor in those photos you posted is his slight frame as well as his slightly feminine features (maybe why he's characterized as a bottom in many bts fics; on that note, I disagree with the user who said that there are no gender roles in gay porn or shipping when bottoms will most of the time be smaller and/or more delicate men but that's another story). Frankly I don't see it from his mannerisms or from the way he talks. I still think it's jimin who gives the most gay vibes but that could be me.

Here you can see Jimin looking uninterested at whatever is going on (around 0:30). He looks back for a few seconds before staring straight ahead. Jungkook on the other hand looks so excited/happy/awed/interested in the outcome of that race, but Jimin literally looks like "Pffttt so what I can run faster than her". His face throughout is exactly like  -__-

 

And like some of those K-ARMY, even I've noticed that Jimin and Yoongi look mostly bored during GG performances and pay more attention when it comes to BG stages. 

I'm not saying they're GAY because of this as such but it's certainly something...

Only time I saw Yoongi have any kind of reaction to ggs was with Mamamoo. But at the same time I've seen him looking disinterested even during bg stages, like even with Big Bang where everyone was dancing.

Well I wouldn't call that flirting, just a regular interview. However, when I looked at the comments under the video I thought I was watching completly different clip, all the fangirls basically saying that "Jimin felt in love with that MC".

I guess to each their own, but if this is what some people call flirting, then I guess accidently touching hands would mean... marriage?

I still don't see this as flirting, he is just being his regular self, trying to look at her cards, like   I don't know, I come from western country so maybe this is the way people in Korea flirt, but if this is a firm proof that Jimin is interested in that girl then I guess he is also interested in half the guys he had ever talked with.

Like I said, I watched it with English subs and one thing I remember is him calling her attention back to him for no reason whatsoever. I'm not saying it's 100% flirting because I don't know. I know that if you search the thread for her name you'll see other users that interpreted it as flirting so idk.

 

I don't know why I got negged when I said multiple times that he's the BTS member I think is most likely to be gay.   Don't misinterpret what I'm seeing as flirting as me saying he's not gay or that he's straight. I already said that I haven't seen him paying much attention to girls in the past and this was the only instance that confused me.
