The other time he mentioned a girlfriend was being dumped by his highschool girlfriend, except he went to an all boys' school...

It’s not like guys who go to all boy’s schools don’t meet girls ever 🤔

The thing with BTS is that they seem very “woke” but they haven’t really said directly supportive of the lgbtq+ community.
I think saying everyone is equal is very different from saying gay marriage should be legal (for example). I’m not saying they aren’t supportive or wtv but I don’t really think they are the “woke kings” a lot of us think they are. They are pros at saying just the right thing without saying much at all.
Unless I’m forgetting some events, I think Sunmi and Hongjoong have been the only ones to really support the community.

Hoseok mentioned in their MMA 2018 speech that when they went to America he discovered "many different kinds of love existed" and he was talking about in a positive way. Yes, it's really vague and could be interpreted in other ways but I think he was talking about same sex love.  So I think BTS are supportive of the lgbtq+ community, but they can't express too much because of Bighit.

Yes it is really vague but it's something. I firmly believe that something is better than nothing. I think I also have a very Western perspective and I completely acknowledge that Korea (Asia tbh) isn't there yet. When I first started liking k-pop in 2009 no idol would ever really talk about social issues so this is amazing.

P.S. believing these dudes that are forced to work together so much 24/7 are also in romantic relationships with each other make me scream in claustrophobia lmao

Honestly it's very unlikely (in my opinion) that members would date each other. K-pop has so many good looking people that I find it kinda hard to believe. I think dating someone who you work with is never a good idea.

I feel like there is something almost forbidden about it. Like two male coworkers start having feelings for each other and then eventually start dating. But they have to hide it from their fans so the looks and the touches they share is how they show their love. They love each other so much that they would risk their career for it. Idk it's very movie like and maybe that's why people fantasize about it.

Meanwhile I feel like it's much easier and realistic to go to a gay club and meet someone.

@joonsoulie

That ear thing, never understood it. You can see it's obviously happend in heated moment on stage because Jimin was all over the place. But occasionally I can really see that JK has absolutely no problem showing so much fan service.

I've read people say it's a nibble and other people say it's a whisper or wtv. Idk man 🙃

There's also this (at around 1:05):

Which leads me to believe that this might have been just a common joke between them, but Taeil is sus.

Yeah definitely. I don’t think Kyung or Zico are lgb but damn they enjoyed doing fan service. Yeah Taeil is pretty sus. When Zico was saying stuff about Taeil having feelings for him the other members were like are you coming out? Poor guy.

Hmm I feel sorry for taehyung if it's real, boy needs to re-examine his taste in men. As for the idol leader that kept badgering male staf to go home with him, somehow I can see suho for that one.

Bogum is a quite charming man and apparently fits all Korean beauty standards. If they were a thing I can see why.

I was disappointed by Wish You, I thought it was really boring to be honest. Lee Sang is also an idol btw, he's in IMFACT.

Is anyone watching Color Rush? I'm really liking it so far. Hwall's acting isn't the best but the plot is actually interesting, especially for a BL webseries.

I feel like this is OT but also not because they are idols. Should I put it under spoiler?

Yeah the movie was a bit boring but I liked how normalized being gay was? I felt like they treated their relationship as normal and didn't focus on them being two guys!

I'll watch Colour Rush! The plot seems interesting.

Good to know that they are open minded and incorporate some diversity in some aspects of their life :) They look absolutely amazing!

(sidenote I consider them to be the most likely non straight members of Stray Kids lol)

I've read that quite often which is why I thought it was pretty interesting how they talked about clothes not having a gender.

Korea, like many other Asian countries, has a long way to go. More visibility is just a stepping stone. It might seem like it’s just a drop in the ocean, but that’s how change is slowly made. If there is more LGBT visibility then more people will be aware of them, hopefully learn that sexuality isn’t a choice, and care about their rights. Personally, I would love to see more LGBT characters in regular dramas. Maybe it could branch out into music too? There’s not many videos like K.Will’s Don’t.

I didn't WTF it, but I don't really consider it a huge human rights victory that trans people too can now kill and die for the US imperialistic military industrial complex lol. #Equality #TransGirlBossDroneOperator

I understand where people are coming from as in it’s good that they are being treated the same as others but yeah. Fuck that. We won’t fight a rich man’s war.

Edit: Just saw this :)
