All kpop groups, and even some Western artists, go through what is essentially PR training. It basically entails what their image is, how they must act on stage, things they are not allowed to say, and how to please fans. This is why I think people on here (including me) get annoyed with posts in here that are clearly fanservice e.g two members hugging each other and pretending to kiss. This fanservice is also why some fangirls may like yaoi, but get annoyed if you suggest a member of an idol group could be LGBT in some way. Jackson and Jinyoung are the most discussed here. Bambam has mixed opinions (1/2 saying he's gay, 1/2 saying he's straight). Mark is pretty interesting, but he's not discussed THAT much (at least we know he's not homophobic though as his sister is married to a woman). And ka*soo... i mean i'm almost not surprised, not long ago i realised that some people think that hunhan is real in 2k17 but like... there's a limit to delusions. they don't even play up fanservice (unlike ch*nbaek, another pairing from hell), so where all the shipping comes from, are they even closer than collegues? i don't see even close friendship there. I agree lol. Kaisoo is my fave Kpop ship and I'm a little delulu, but I can recognise when members are not that close to each other. It's been dead for like 3 years, Kai prefers hanging out with Taemin and his other friends, and DO prefers hanging out with his actor friends and sometimes Sehun and a few other members. And I've never seen anything with Chanbaek, at all. Tbh the only Exo ship that had remotely any evidence was Taohun, and obviously that's dead now. The only gay rumours I know of are that gay couple in a group who started dating in 2010 (can't be Kaisoo because the group were an A-List group in 2010 which Exo obviously weren't), the gay member who came out to his groupmates, and one of the Exo members bringing his boyfriend to Hawaii. Just for some background on Taemin for those wondering: The facial expressions he makes in the first set of gifs...mess. I've said before that Kaisoo is my favourite ship in kpop (quite a feat as I stan a lot of groups), so obviously I'm going to be more biased towards them. I do find aspects of their relationship suspicious now, but I do not think they are dating (it wouldn't surprise me if they were though). As for Taekai, they just seem like best friends who probably talk about cute men together - in fact, that's probably what their friendship group does all together LOL. But I feel like when discussing these things, it's important to remember these are real people we're talking about here, and that all idols have a manufactured image and we only see very, very little of their lives. Who knows, maybe the idols most discussed in here are all straight and the idols least discussed in here are actually gay LOL. It's possible. It has negative connotations as it continues to perpetuate the idea that being gay is somehow inherently wrong or immoral, and that there's some kind of thrill you get from watching gay stuff because you're going against the "status quo".
