Ikr honestly I feel like the label of bisexuality is so overused here in the sense that you have described. I'm also of the opinion that true bisexuals and pansexuals are a minority even within the LGBT community. So the likelihood of a given idol being bi or pan is extremely low. Meanwhile Jonghyun was constantly talking about handsome actors that "made his heart flutter" in his radio show, has a song whose lyrics are "what's in my hand is not a glass", he's always flirting with guys, etc. I think people tend to assume that people like Key or Heechul are 100% gay simply because they're campy, not because they've shown actual interest in guys. Even Minho has shown more interest / it's way more touchy with guys but people think he's 100% straight for his manly image. I'm so ready for people giving me shit for this BUT Key's gayness is so obvious that he doesn't even need to express any interest in men whatsoever. Moreover, even if there was a video leaked of him having sex with a woman, I still wouldn't believe that he's even 0.0000000...01 % heterosexual because everything from his speech to his mannerisms screams gay. And yes, I am stereotyping, and I do believe in stereotypes, because they are stereotypes for a reason. If someone acts or speaks like Key or Jo Kwon which is really really gay, it doesn't mean 100% (it's never 100% irl) they're gay. But >95%? I say, yes. And please don't bother bringing up your friend's gay cousin who's actually super masc and very straght-like because those are exceptions. heechulscunt 431 Posted July 28, 2017 Share Posted July 28, 2017 (edited) i have no evidence for my following statements...just my opinion based on completely subjective 'gut feeling' that has no specific evidence or basis, just...my own feeling and experience i tend to be very in tune with other people and their thoughts and feelings, i can read people well, sometimes even without meaning to. today i met a boy friend, i saw him working at a restaurant i visited with my friend. we talked and after we left, my friend that i ate with asked if my friend and i (the guy working) were a thing. i was surprised, bc i'd never thought about him that way - he is cute and even my type, yet i'd just never imagined anything romantic with him...like there was some sort of block. not like 'friendzoned', just like...it's hard to explain, but it's as if i automatically just see them as friends for some reason, even before getting to know them. i realized that with several of my other guy friends, who are gay, when i first met them, i felt the same 'block'...though i didn't know they were gay and they weren't my friends so it wasn't just me friendzoning them, i just felt a block even the first time i met them, even if they were attractive...so i talked to my male friend and we were talking about the pride parade i went to...he then came out to me as gay.... i think i am the first person he has told... i know it sounds dumb and i swear, you guys can laugh at me and ignore it, i understand, but i think maybe that 'block' is my version of a gaydar? because every guy i felt that 'block' with, turned out to be gay, once i got to know them i ended up finding out they were gay. i feel the block instantly upon meeting them, its odd. so maybe it's my gaydar that somehow leads to the block since i know nothing romantic can or will happen Taehyung is my ultimate bias, i find him super attractive and his visuals are really my type, he can be super sexy, but for some reason i've never been attracted to him in a physical or romantic manner. I have the same 'block' for him as I did with all my other guy friends that ended up being gay: I find them very physically attractive, i should be attracted to them, but i just...don't see them that way, even if they are 100% my type...i can only see as a friend, even if i just met them. maybe i thought, i somehow recognize that they aren't attracted to women, so i instantly block off any feelings beyond platonic friendship? idk i know it's dumb as hell...sorry...but it's just an opinion... i just can't imagine Taehyung with a girl romantically. I can't. It's not like I have any reason to want him to be a specific sexuality; i would love him and support him equally if he was homo, hetero, pan, bi, ace, demi, anything, it doesn't matter to me, he is Taehyung and will always be Taehyung no matter who he loves or doesn't love. I don't ship him with anyone, I love him to pieces and he is my ultimate bias but I've just never seen him 'that' way...no matter what i just can't for the life of me see him being romantic or physical with a girl. maybe it's just because he tends to treat everyone so friendly and is so relaxed...but does anyone have footage or events where he was flustered by a girl? i've only seen him get flustered with guys. he gets flustered quite easily with skinship and attention from guys...he loves skinship but still gets super flustered by it, even from some of his members. i've never seen him have that sort of reaction to girls, he honestly seems really at ease with them. that doesn't mean he is gay of course. his interactions with females are also limited compared to males....but the way he acts with fanboys and fangirls...to me he seems so comfortable with fangirls, it's no big deal - he is the fanservice king, he can hold girls hands, cradles their faces, has no problem with any of that...but with fanboys, he gets so flustered, he gives them extra attention, idk, sorry i'm rambling, but his face lights up with fanboys just my two cents, but i can't see him with a girl as anything more than friendship. but again, i'm basing this post entirely on my personal gut feelings and intuition. i could bring a lot of receipts and stuff of his reaction to guys and males, but they've all been posted here already, i have nothing new... anyway that event happened today with my friend since he came out to me, and that's what triggered this post...i'm sorry for wasting your time but i hope someone found it at least interesting to read...i'm sorry i know it's dumb, but sometimes gut feelings mean something, idk, but this is the only place i could really share these thoughts so...
