anyways with WGM it's basically known as a show that specializes in protecting your "straight" image. You can be as out of the closet as you like but once you're on there no one will doubt you. SM probably encouraged Heechul to be on it, but I think Heechul also thought it would be fun, he's good at variety and he likes hanging out with girls, so why not? Plus I think he made it a personal challenge to get Gunhee on there as often as possible :D

A long while ago someone who followed the k-lbgt fandom posted an analysis on the two of them, I'd have to find it later, but basically (if i remember right, this might be slightly wrong lmao) they figured Kris had a confusing unrequited thing for Luhan predebut, but then he tried to distance himself from him for quite a while. They got closer again before Kris left too, so they wondered if he was trying to make up for lost time, in a way, even though Luhan wasn't interested in him.

I think "tolerance" of lesbians has a lot to do with the self-indulgent nature of patriarchal societies. It's no secret straight men get turned on by woman-on-woman action and just for that they might turn a blind eye to it or be less judgmental about it. It's more for their own pleasure than out of actual respect to these women's sexual identity/orientation. I remember reading somewhere the argument of a straight man explaining why they like it, he said that in his mind it's what women do while waiting for the man to come and give it to them. It's not about the women themselves and their own satisfaction, in his head it's always and ultimately about the man, everything they do is to be ready for the man. I found this quite revolting because it shows that they don't even entertain the possibilty of women not needing a man to cater to their needs. This also explains why straight men only "accept" lesbians within the realm of fantasy (like porn) but when faced with real life lesbians, their first reaction, more than disgust or hostility, is to make fun of them and shrug them off completely because they can't take them seriously

 

But ofc not all men are like this, I'm just thinking of it as a part of the problem...

There were rumors about how his parents were pressuring him drop the whole idol thing and "get married to a nice Chinese girl" even before the rumors of him leaving appeared. I went and listened to all of anonsaid's podcasts, actually, and they're pretty interesting!! Although the newest one here didn't actually answer the Taohun/GD questions definitively like I figured, haha. With Taohun they explained how easy it was to get really, really close to someone when you're with them all the time in the industry and how that could seem like they were dating but they didn't really address the actually couple-y things about them that the question had brought up. And then with GD they were just like "....you do you, man" and talked about how he probably just is willing to fuck pretty much anyone. but they also brought up Kiko and the possibility of their whole relationship being fake as well!

 

Also, I would recommend episode six!! the girl talks about gay idols a lot actually, and mentions "all of the idols you think are gay....are probably gay." LMAO and also that gay idols do date each other, and hook up like, all of the time. Actually, I want to hear what your guesses are for the idols/groups she talked about!!

 

a) only one group she knows of where ALL of the members are straight

b) there's one group she mentioned where "at least half of the members, when they debuted, were gay" -- based on the way she said this as if it was impressive + the fact that the group recently lost members, my guess is EXO for this one haha

Has anyone listened to the latest podcast of "anonsaid"? I still take them with a grain of salt, but anyway they said something relatively interesting:

 

- that one of the ship they mentioned had been true, and they mentioned a lot of (kryber, jongkey, yunjae, taekai, xiuhan, Taohun, skydragon ecc....).

 

- at the question about "what about Gunheechul being so touchy feely on wgm with Gunhee" she answered that Heechul is touchy feely with everyone and "to take it as we wish" (hint to him being pansexual/bisexual?) and that he has done much worse things with other Suju members on stage than what he's done with Gunhee, and that sometimes people shipping themselves are sort of doing some marketing strategy. Still, this doesn't convince me. Like, with Gunheechul there's much more than just the ig, but whatever.

 

- that there may be ships that get curious about people shipping them and for a series of factors actually end up dating each other.Well, I could believe this.

Assuming this is the same person from last time from the half-gay group the most likely options are SJ and EXO since none of the others were brought up as ships....and our options then are Xiumin, Luhan, Tao, Sehun, Kai, D.O., Baekhyun, Chanyeol, and Heechul, lol. (there's too many EXO ships to make this an easy process of elimination, LMAO) 

 

I'm still putting down Tao, Sehun, and Baekhyun as most likely to show up at a gay club, along with Heechul (although I think it's more likely that the first situation was about two idols than GunHeechul). I'm really not entirely sold on Baekyeol hooking up @ any point, but somehow I find Baek the most likely to get drunk and spill everything???? lmao. But I think that if it was a year+ ago, it's possible it could be any of those three. Like I've mentioned before I think Taohun started messing around in 2013 and it wasn't serious for a while, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's what this girl heard from one of them + one of them ended up making out w/ someone else, lol. I work in journalism and a blogger so rumours make me intrigued. When I visit this site I always find funny rumours but some of those rumours always come true esp about Japanese celebrities (hence why I still give this site a visit once in a while otherwise it's not worth my time).

 

I just share news that I'm interested. Here's what I found and remember from years ago to recently (Please remember that this is still considered rumours). I put spoiler for non-related lgbt matter.

 

1. Jonghyun from SHINee is gay, he's not even bi. Shin Sekyung was genuinely attracted (like) to Jonghyun. (old rumour)

2. One of the source interested in Bodan Shonen Dan because of the 'funny news' they heard about them from staffs who work with them. Yes, the rumors related to homosexuality. They said two or three members. Cannot determine the names. (Actually the discussions for this issue in the platform is very interesting, most commentators said no doubt it's Suga/Rapmonster/Jungkook)

3. Krystal is bi. Jessica doesn't know but Krystal is now liking a boy (early 2014 rumour).

4. No rumours about EXO sexuality.

 

 

5. Xiumin and Luhan developed friendship that last live long. He knew about Luhan decision before other members and management. Kris and Lay also trust Xiumin the most. Tao and Chen are innocent. (I dont understand what this what innocent the source meant)

6. Some EXO members against Suho being the leader of EXO the most vocal one was Chanyeol and he got yelled after he said in broadcast he doesn't know who is the leader of EXO. (I dont remember where he said it? Showtime? or other interview?) He has no bad feeling towards Suho just he think didn't fit the position but he was confronted by a member who ask/yell at him "Do you think you fit to be leader?" he has someone in his mind who is fit to be leader. Members know he thought of Kris.

7. There's a staff in SM who loves to tell idols and management dirty secrets to stalkers (sasaengs)/fansite administrators

8. Beast's Junhyung like to date around and never long last. He always told people he needs to be loved constantly but once he's in a relationship he's loyal. Korean fans know this and make a funny joke about it.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure even Chanyeol or Suho has mentioned that they didn't get along all that well...it's not drama or anything, but they've just always fought often since predebut, apparently. 

 

 

I always got the impression that he liked both but that it's harder to find girls who can handle his level of.. passion.. if you catch my drift 

 

there certainly seems to be a certain......theme......going on...........

*quoting my own post. No shame* what i think is most interesting about all this crotch grabbing, is that even if its an inside joke thing, none of it is acknowledged by the other members. chanhun, laysoo, kaiho, xiubaek, are all doing it but none of them seems to be paying attention to the others that are doing it. Its like its happening very openly but discreetly as well. For example, sehun did it to chanyeol and no one knew but them, etc.
