I don’t think theres any proof to this. He just doesn’t seem straight too me. I personally think Wonpil might be gay. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm not sure if he's shown interest in girls before, I can't really remember a time he has. You're right that there isn't a lot of receipts for him though. But his relationship with Got7's Jinyoung I find interesting. They've been close since predebut and are the same age, they call each other their best friend too. I just think it's worth noting because Jinyoung is generally agreed upon in this thread as not-straight (imo he's gay, I think most people here agreed?) and they've been talked about before in the thread together before. Apparently they talk to each other on the phone for hours and see each other as often as they can too. They did a vlive together before which I suggest watching all of tbh. I’m very into kdramas but rarely learn about the personal lives of actors, so any opinions would be great. I’ve heard a lot about yoo ah in and that’s it I think. Kim Donghwan (Suho's bf as discussed in this thread), Jisoo and Nam Joohyuk (they've been talked about in the thread before), I think some people have talked about Jo Insung here too (D.O's actor friend), Lee Jongsuk has also been brought up, Lee Jungha (the one that IMFACT's Ungjae had a total crush on on the Unit), and NCT Doyoung's brother Gongmyung. Because at the end of the day, putting them in dresses and wigs wasn't about them expressing their sexuality or for queer fans. It was fan service for heterosexual fangirls who enjoyed it in the same way that most fanservice between members is rooted in that fetishization. Being gay and liking to crossdress don't necessarily correlate. I meant that I'm not sure if it means anything when one member says that they find another member attractive when they're cross-dressing (for example when Monsta X I.M was gushing over Kihyun dressed as a girl) because it could easily be viewed as hetero or gay depending on context and how you look at it, or it could mean literally nothing. Obviously once can argue that he was young... but aside from IU I have never seen him bother with women tbh. It's definitely just cause he was young then; it's not uncommon for gay people to date the opposite sex before realizing their gay. I feel like a lot of us have had that experience. True, he's literally never shown interest in women, but he's shown interest in men many times. And as someone in this thread a while back put: his love for IU is obviously just gay admiration. I remember a poster here a while back said something about how one time on Running Man Jongkook said he liked one of the actress' on the show, but then when there was this segment later on where the guests had to get his heart beat to increase or something, one of the other actors (or possible an idol?? He was younger, like in his 20's) was able to get his heart beat a lot higher than the actresses and just by like casual skinship too. I've been trying to find the video everywhere, but it's like it's been washed off the face of the planet tbh. (the ep with Yunho is an example, couldn't find the clip though). On the other hand, he is way too awkward in skinship or loveline with female that it is unbearable to watch sometimes. I mean, a few years is fine, but 10+ years in the variety industry and much more than that in general entertainment, I find the excuse of "being shy with female" a bit farfetch. And we are talking about the guy who Dispatch has been pursuing for years. And he did publicly challenge Dispatch. I know it may mean nothing, but it is hard to believe he never dates a girl in all those years.
