Which male idols do you think are gay?

Recommended Posts

Yeah, real people are like that, but i guess in the internet everyone is a self righteous unproblematic angel.

You're acting like this is all unfounded and coming out of nowhere, but I know for a fact that people in this thread and elsewhere have already expressed discomfort over this topic for some time now. And it really isn't that hard to understand. If someone outright publicly says that they don't like being touched, expresses displeasure at unannounced skinship, and even talks about rooming with other members because they don't touch them, then maybe it's not okay for that person to get groped in public.

And I like Taeil and know he likes men, but he needs to respect personal boundaries. It's not a good look. We all know how used Koreans are to male skinship and how easily that could be abused by someone with less than noble intent, especially in a work situation as closely knit as a popular idol group. We know it's happened before. We know the gay aspect of it also makes it more likely to be ignored. For instance, I know this topic would end up back in this thread even if someone made a topic just for it. Dismissal of such topics isn't unique to Korea.

But seriously, calm down and stop taking this so personally when you know it's been simmering for a good while now.

there’s not much "evidence" in this, but i thought i’d share because everyone knows imfact is a pretty gay group, with lots of intense skinship, members who have expressed their interest in men or both genders (and have been exposed by each ofher), as well as other factors that make people suspicious. however i see most people label jeup as the "poor straight member surrounded by gays" and i just don’t get it?? they base it usually off his disinterest for skinship, but i don’t think that’s enough to get a conclusion from. i’ve used lack of skinship as "evidence" before yes, but always with other pieces of evidence too. lack of skinship on its own isn’t enough and honestly i haven’t seen people use anything else to argue that jeup is straight. i personally get just as much not straight vibes from his as i do from the other members. also i think jeup is fine with skinship, he just doesn’t like to do it in camera much because if you watch their videos and shows you’ll notice he’ll be cuddling another member or something in the background when he probably thinks he isn’t being filmed. the most notable example i can think of is briefly shown at 2:14 in the video i linked. he's sitting on ungjae's lap lookingcompletely fine and comfortable. the video cuts the clip, but you can see how his expression changes when he realises the camera is on him. the video cut this out but he actually gets up once the camera keeps filming. this doesn’t mean he is gay and this post probably makes no sense, but i thought it was worth mentioning seeing as imfact are mentioned a few times on here. i didn’t proof read this so there are probably lots of mistakes oops

It's not so much that Jeup is het, it's just that the rest of the group is so gay that he looks tame in comparison. 0u0plz.png

Anyway, he has his moments, but I still think he would be bi rather than gay. I saw him up close at Kcon LA when Imfact was at the convention stage and he was very much enjoying all the female attention he was getting. He had the most recognition due to his relative success on The Unit, so maybe he was just basking in that. But he seemed very excited whenever women in particular would call out to him.

I also think he cares more about having a more masculine image, at least more than the other members. He's already done his mandatory military service and is very athletic, and he seems to take some pride in that. And again, he only seems "straight" when compared to the other members. If you watch his solo broadcasts and the like, he's still a cute fluffball and has some suspicious mannerisms and tastes and the like. He's just hopelessly outgayed.

The general consensus round these parts are some combination of Kevin, Q, Younghoon, New. Also considered but less so are Eric and Jacob

Sent from my SM-G570F using OneHallyu mobile app

Eric is less so? He's always been the gayest to me. Eric, Younghoon and Kevin are the gayest in my opinion. Q, New and Jacob also have their moments.

Gonna post some Eric being gay because I can.

His crush on fellow member Juyeon:

I could make a whole post on them alone. Unfortunately for Eric, it is very one-sided. 0u0plz.png

Eric and Felix (note his lisps):

He likes handsome male idols, just saying...

Gayy:

His dominance in the disastrous The Boyz paper kiss game...they eventually had to move him to the end position because he was going too hard for everyone else to handle:

(game starts 4 minutes in, turn on captions)

Anyway, have this video of the Boyz dancing to SNSD and being fabulous (note Eric)

Also adding this totally heterosexual pic of Younghoon and New because again, I can:

Eunwoo from Astro getting male idols awestruck because of his visuals. They're from knk, the one on the left is dongwon and the one from the right is seoham. The tweets are translations from a recent vlive.

Eunwoo's power...

And I like that the new KNK guy is at least kinda sus. That feels like it should be an entry requirement for that group. 0u0plz.png

Do you know who Milo Yianopolis is? He has a world tour with the word "faggot" in the headline. I don't find it offensive either.

imstupid.png

He also said he doesn't believe lesbians even exist and are only pretending because they hate men. He's not exactly a gay icon.

People can be gay at 16 and earlier, lol. This thread is for discussion and speculation on who might be gay. As long as minors are not sexualized, they can be discussed.

People don't get all pressed when heterosexuals talk about minors dating or being interested in the opposite sex, etc, so the homophobic double standards here are quite obvious...

If the search function hadn't been broken for a year I could provide tons of instances of the majority of users in the thread telling others not to ship or sexualize. But like I said in the ask a mod thread, BECAUSE of the mods, this thread more or less became "the gay thread" where everything gay was redirected. It wasn't just what it says in the title anymore.

I wouldn't have minded if this thread had remained a strict speculation thread, but according to Darkchao, speculation is bad too apparently, even when we are basing it on things that are publicly available. You gays and your "fantasies!" Shame on you!

Remember when Kangmin from Romeo more or less came out during an early interview and we were shook here at his bravery for doing such a thing in such a conservative and heteronormative society? How we found it inspiring and hopeful for the coming generation? He then went on to wear clothes for girls and kiss other members when he thought he was off cam.

I guess we were all really just pedophiles back then. Not the interviewer though, because they assumed he was het. We may not have known, but the mods...their MINDS! 479458014286577664.png?v=1

It's nice to know that the mods in the ask a mod thread would rather talk about anime than reply to my post. imstupid.png

Here's what I posted (in response to Darkchao45)

Darkchao45, on 16 Mar 2019 - 2:03 PM, said:snapback.png

Please tell me what my "twisted" narrative was. We all came to this consensus, I simply made it official. The nature of the thread doesn't change, you are free to discuss as you wish, just not about minors. Its not complicated.

Gee, I wonder? You only called us all the equivalent of crazy tabloid speculators spinning fantasies and implied that we were victimizing minors by talking about them in an LGBT friendly space. imstupid.png  We've heard this kind of BS from trolls in the thread for years, and from acquaintances and relatives who push this heteronormative BS in real life as well. You clearly do not read the thread and are making a blanket assumption based on years of misrepresentation of what the thread contains and is about.

Also, to top off how silly and embarrassing this all is, the 2 idols mentioned that began the debate weren't even minors.

You can say this is some sudden response to years of complaints you've been putting off about minors in the thread, but I know that isn't true. I and many others have complained for years about people breaking the thread rules, harassing users, going off topic, etc, and nothing has been done about it. The very best we get is a mod coming in, deleting everything (except the offending posts, usually) and then leaving like nothing happened. We're treated like an embarrassment that you guys barely even want to acknowledge exists.

And people aren't that upset because you're trying to tone down discussion of minors, they're upset because this is, whether intentional or not, a misrepresentation of what is discussed in the thread and chillingly reminiscent of homophobic stereotypes that suggest that gays, especially gay men, are all pedophiles and only ever care about sex. We've had years of double standards of other threads speculating about the sexualities of supposed heterosexual idols (minors included) and never heard a peep from you guys. Your comment about the offensiveness of "pushing labels" is also a joke, because again, discussion of supposed heterosexual idols never provokes those kinds of responses. The thread has always been meant to be a safe space for LGBT kpop fans and unlike what your comment suggests, does contain years of people sharing their experiences and stories. We kind of had to make it that after you guys kept redirecting or merging ANY gay content on the site into the thread.

This was a wrong move on your part.

That's really interesting

I wonder if he's telling the truth...

Basically his supposed ex boyfriend:

-Is non korean

-Used to be part of a famous boy group that had some hits in the past

-Studies in a prestigious university

-Retired from stardom

I can't think of anyone (I'm not too familiar with the past generations so this is no surprise lol)

He also said he was a regular on a big radio show.

So Yoon Seobin, the former JYP trainee that was kicked off of Produce X 101 and out of JYP for smoking underage and bullying rumors that turned out to be false, just uploaded some pretty gay pics of himself with another guy...already the Twitterverse is debating whether it's a case of the gay...or good dudebros being bros. What are your thoughts?
