I don't... even know. If I was his girlfriend I think i'd be highly uncomfortable that he was touching someone else the way he touches Sungjong. BUT NO, she got mad at him for taking pictures with his costar...

Exactly or maybe it more then that u know we never know. Plus they just dated n maybe she got fed up also with his relationsip with sungjong as well. It feels like it out of a fanfic ahaha he is dating this girl but he doesn't realize he can't do it without sungjong. OKAy that was me being delusional

 

I wish that was the case, but now whenever I think of Myungjong I just feel insanely bitter inside. I honestly wish I didn't, but I feel like a lot of their relationship was a facade. Especially considering he was probably dating this girl while he was making goo goo eyes at Sungjong. /GOD I AM SO BITTER

I definitely do. I think if Sungjong starts looking down again and distances himself from Myungsoo, it'll be very telling of just how much it's like Key and Jonghyun post-Shin Se Kyung.

Oh totally, nothing will ever convince me that Kim Myungsoo is straight. I still don't know if he even has any actual interest in girls sexually, because I don't know the true nature of his relationship with Doyeon. People can call me delusional if they want, but I still think there's a slight chance that it's a cover up...

Well, here are the basic options:

 

1) She made it up completely. (But we know they know each other, otherwise Woolim would deny everything. That they didn't means she has more material still, it's a pre-emptive strike.)

2) She got close to him and either deluded herself or is just pretending. No relationship above acquaintance or friendship.

3) He led her on, from whatever reason.

4) The relationship's been real and she is naive or proud or whatever enough to let it out.

 

1 and 2 leave the shipping or a real opinion on MyunJong intact. Number 4 most likely kills it (or leaves it in a coma at least) -- either he led Sungong on or there was never anything real between them; Sungong either a) got his hopes up (the dreaded crush on a straight guy), or b) knew the whole score. Number 3 would be tricky and could mean a lot of things on either side.

 

I could honestly see it fitting any of those options quite easily. It's kind of frustrating, because there are literally so many ways it could go. It's not nearly as clean cut as you would expect the average dating scandal to be. 

 

I think either way, no matter what their relationship is/was, Myungsoo's fame had a lot to do with it. Honestly if she wasn't milking the situation for all it was worth, she would have stopped cryptically tweeting a long time ago. It's also pretty obvious  that she was the source of that first Instiz post, because who else would have access to that "information"? I'm pretty sure no one knew who she was, nor cared before this.

It could go so many ways, maybe there was other friend who was at the super market n the fans happen to take a photo of just the two of them. It like it happens the girl think myungsoo is interested in her n she put her arm around his. It happened to me too,, n i was like OKAY AWKWARD lol. Plus they were no photo of myungsoo initiating the skinship or returning it back so yeah I dunno the chances are very slim though

 

I wonder if they did do a press conference, whether they would ask him about it or not...

 

Honestly, if it was me, I would definitely walk around holding my friend's arm like that. Granted I'm a very touchy person and the same doesn't apply to everyone ^^; This could also be a giant clusterfuck that she made up in her own head and he might not have any feels for her whatsoever. The only thing that makes me think otherwise is those weird tweets he posted at 4:00 in the morning after the "scandal" with Boreum.

I saw some photos n sungjong n myungsoo seems pretty okay waiting for more pic. Sunjong is still smiling, I'm pretty much sure if sungjong was sad hoya will be there for him

 

I think time will tell how they're holding up? It's too soon to see how this will effect them in the long term and I think they've probably already dealt with their initial reactions in private.

I don't think I will ever truly believe that they were/are just friends. I've tried to wrap my mind around it and it just won't happen. I don't know if that's because I'm seeing things that aren't there, or if I really am onto something. If they do have something and I'm not out of my damn mind, then I honestly don't know what that means in relation to him and this girl. Was he just using her as a cover for him and Sungjong? I honestly don't know, but I like to think of myself as a pretty rational person. In my opinion there is a lot more to his interactions with Sungjong - more than two photos released of him at the supermarket with some girl hanging all over him. There are way too many sides to this story for me to just drop Myungjong. If it really looks like him and this girl are madly in love, I'll probably give up the fight - but at this stage, it honestly doesn't seem like that at all...

Yeah, I see what you're saying~ I still don't know I feel about it though, honestly. Admittedly this whole "scandal" has definitely thrown an unexpected spanner in the works, but I think as it plays itself out I'll either be back to feeling how I used to about Myungjong, or him and this girl will be in an established relationship

Y'know what, never mind, I'm already back to feeling how I used to about Myungjong. I think I am actually incapable of not loving their relationship...

 

Myungjong looks the same to me, but the feeling is just gone for me I dont ship myungjong like i do before because of this scandal. But what i do know is that whenever sungjong will feel like down he always has Hoya :D. U know it sad cuz u always hear how hoya is so fond of sungjong, but the two rarely do any skinship which is weird. I wish i coudl see more hojong.

That's completely fair! I don't know why, but I legitimately can't stop shipping Myungjong. I think I've just been at it for too long to be like, I'm done, y'know? Whatever their relationship is, it's wonderful and I can't just let that go because Myungsoo got himself into a stupid scandal. When the news first broke, I honestly didn't think i'd ever feel the same away about their relationship again. Seeing those photos though has made me realize, there is pretty much nothing that can happen that will make me stop shipping Myungjong.

It just really pisses me off when people act like they're positively 100% sure they know what someone else's sexuality is. Like, gay men date and sleep with women all the time. Well... I'm gay and I would not date a girl, I don't think I could do that because I really don't feel attracted to them.

Maybe that's why from my point of view I don't see Myungsoo that much as gay anymore.

I guess that's why our opinions differ? I come from a very conservative Asian family and growing up I dated a lot of boys, just so I wouldn't have to come out to them or anything. Obviously I felt nothing for those boys, but it is possible to fake it if you have to   I think it's because of that, that I know that people will and do go to extreme lengths just to lie about who they're attracted to.

I think it kinda shows that Sungjong doesn't have those kind of feelings towards L and if he does then he knows how to hide it very well xD
