For me he's just not? I don't really have any argument tho  That's just how I feel (and I was never really interested in him so I may be mistaking of course).

This could be my delulu shipper brain talking, but I think it might have been more to do with WHO was chosen for the pepero game than what was actually going on...

 

Whatever the reason, I don't think that Tao's reaction was fake. He's not that sort of guy, so whyever it was that he felt that way, we can be pretty sure that his face showed his true feelings.

I've never noticed it with lesbians. I don't really know much about them other than that they often get fetishised by straight guys.

That sounds rather irritating. There's actually a video out there that is about what some straight girls who are (presumably) friends with gay guys and it was spot on. A lot of girls will say, besides the things I already mentioned, that they think they could 'convert' a gay guy they think is hot. Others will go completely bat-shit if you even suggest a guy they like (or some kind of public figure) might be gay to and start listing off a lot of stupid things they think don't 'make him gay'. 

 

A lot of people will also say things like 'you just haven't met the right girl yet' too. 

 

Thankfully, these aren't very common occurrences these days.

Yeah I definitely agree with this. Like I know it sounds like fanfiction, but I really do think casual hookups are probably quite common (between both gay and straight couples, but it sure is easier if you're in the same dorm)

 

 

ngl I know I'm a shipper but I've anyways had a feeling that Tao and Sehun were FWB way before they were dating (assuming that's what they're doing now)

 

Also I'm not sure why we're arguing about dating inside/outside your group. It /is/ easier to date someone in your group, but yeah, it's also a bad idea if you break up. That probably stops some people but definitely not all of them.

So apparently the source of the Taohun pictures posted them to prove Tao has a girlfriend. She posted other pictures with three girls and one holding the cat I think, the same cat Tao and Sehun are holding. Why wouldn't she post a picture with Tao and her if that was the case? (For her to expose him)

I think a lot of people got a friends with benefits vibe from them until around Growl era, maybe a little later.  They didn't give off couply vibes initially??  But had sexual tension??  IDK you would have to dig up all their past interactions but they are there.  They were clearly good friends from the start, whether they messed around is kind of up in the air.

 

A lot of people also think if they are dating, then they would have started before the Qingdao trip Jan 2014, which basically puts it sometimes in the latter half of 2013.  (If you think about it, a "romantic" relationship would not have been really possible earlier on because of separate Mama-era promotions and more importantly by Tao's inability to speak Korean well. I guess they could communicate with...ahem.... body language....)   A lot of fans are assuming that they are dropping hints as to the nature of their relationship through Tao's Meipai videos and also both their instagram accounts.  The selcas and meipai videos are worth a look, if nothing else they are cute.  After Kris left I think they just kind of let them do whatever for a little while, because Sehun cheers Tao up a lot, and so you can see their body language in some interviews (the TLP press con and also the 2014 Happy camp pop to mind) is... well you should look for yourself.  (I know your question was "are they fucking" and not "are they a couple" but lol why would they wait for marriage?)  The whole trip to Sanya thing, too.  Also the pic u posted was not leaked by a friendly source, nor was the tabloid that published on them a friendly source... ya feel what I'm getting at here?  It's one thing when a delulu fan tries to convince you their ship is real but another thing when non-fans start to try to out them for shits and giggles, or should I say out Tao because you all know he's the only one who'll get blamed in this.  No one is gonna do this with, like, BaekYeol.

 

A cursory glance at this very forum tells you that Tao and Sehun read as the "prefers men" members of Exo.  A lot of the other ships, if you take the individual members and look at them closely and listen to what they have to say, maybe most of them give you reasons to think they are straight or prefer women strongly, plus either no interactions or just friendly interactions off-stage. That is why a lot of people assume that those ships are promoted.  (Of course you have a lot of fans who get their "news" from fanfics.... )

They didn't give off couple-couple vibes for a while (although they did wear couple bracelets almost constantly for a few months at the start of 2013) I mean, maybe they were dating the whole time and things just got more serious, but the vibe early on was definitely just "we're fucking" until roughly awards season 2013. Something else that gives me that vibe is how they started to share clothes--yes, blah, blah idols always have the same clothes, but it was a lot, and a lot of it was behind-the-scenes (at the SM building and such) which makes me think that it was definitely more of a "well we just fucked so I might as well wear your pants instead of going back to my dorm room" kind of thing. And then in early 2014 they started sharing stuff a lot more obviously (like at the airport, and often when they were apart from each other lol.) 

 

afterwards things just started to get really intense with constant "dates" out and about at like 3 in the morning, their trip to Qingdao, them pretty much being together nonstop, Tao's birthday message to Sehun, the cartier bracelets, the constant heart-eyes stare coming from both of them, their instagram/meipai posts, the trip to Sanya.....the list goes on and on

Do you guys think Taohun are "official" though? Like, regardless of the nature of their relationship (fuck buddies or actual boyfriends), do the rest of exo know? Or is it still more of an unclear, (open-)secret relationship. If Lay knows he's got a weird way of showing support.

 

I think the rest of EXO has to know by now. Suho is obviously /very/ supportive, and Baekhyun and Chanyeol have both teased them about it multiple times. And Tao and Luhan are really close, so I personally would think he would have told him, same with Sehun and Kai. I can't say how Lay actually feels about it, but personally I kind of think (hope) he doesn't actually have a problem with gay people in real life? even people who are very accepting quite often say things they don't realize are offensive, especially when it's a mindset that they've grown up with >.<

 

Your posts were very informative, thanks. Tao is so obviously gay, but I never knew much about Se Hun since I don't know much about EXO in general. Maybe I should watch some EXO appearances... any recommendations?

Hey guys! Long time lurker here, finally decided to join   I don't want to be repetitive so I'll just say I share most of the popular opinions here.

 

I read a few pages ago that someone was going to write an analysis on Luhan but since that never happened I thought I'd share these two links I found interesting.

Furthermore, I don't think a trip should be taken as evidence so easily. I'm planning a trip to NY with my best friend and we definitely aren't fucking nor do we want to. But in the case of TaoHun people made a big deal out of it because it's kind of like the cherry on top of all the other "evidence" if we could call it so.

) his habit of keeping his makeup on at the airport and his occasionally more flamboyant/feminine mannerisms (also him casually wearing a wig behind the scenes), the fact that he was mostly friends with girls and gay guys (we brought up him being in with the ulzzang crowd earlier, and his friendship with Anming in particular, who is gay and had that questionable photo with Jason from Nu'est M lol)...and his suspicious crush on this girl for three years that was his excuse for not dating anyone (seriously though, I have literally used this as an excuse before so it really stands out to me.)

 

I don't think it was mentioned, but I'd also like to point out that the predebut fanaccounts also mention that he liked to fanboy over TVXQ in the girl's bathroom a lot, apparently they would hide in there during class and eat pizza and watch their videos.   Also, I personally find it interesting that his favorites are Yunho and Jaejoong, the two who are most likely gay.....

 

also just a fun thing on the fanboy note, but he was basically one of those fanboys who goes all out, from trying to look like his bias to you know, eventually going to Korea to meet them (his friend mentioned before that that's the real reason he went to uni there hahaha)

 

oh, and it wasn't brought up, but his constant defensiveness of his "manliness" also makes me super suspicious. boy u ain't fooling anyone.

 

but anyways!!! that was basically everything I had. He's always pinged me as gay, and it's definitely not just because of his looks.

 

 

 

oh I meant to comment on the trips/going out thing too: I do think TaoHun's trip to Qingdao had a different vibe, since it was them going to Tao's hometown and Sehun meeting his parents, along with the things they did together, like go to the beach, light lanterns, ect. Also the extremely couple-y outfits on the way back?? compared to TaeKai, who went to a spa or something in Japan. Not that that can't be romantic! TaeKai dating wouldn't actually surprise me much. Xiuhan, either.

I know, but there are various kinds of pressure. I dare say everyone would prefer feeling okay about their face, and if one does not, there's an outside influence involved. And yes, I know it's off topic, apologies. I'm just so not over it. Hell nah I'm not over it. I'm so not fucking over it I'm six feet under.

 

There was probably a lot of pressure, even if it was subtle. Like have you seen the way they would kind of like....shadily talk about Baekho's weight on shows and stuff? like I mean it was obviously all muscle but it was /always/ brought up and you could tell he was really uncomfortable with it and started to lose weight a lot. :((( so I wouldn't be surprised if things kept being brought up like that with Ren.
