Uhhh I'm currently going through all of the posts in this thread to make a receipts compilation post for BTS (like I did with EXO) and even though I haven't finished going through everything to do with Taehyung, these are the receipts I have so far.

• Possible feelings for J-Hope

• Possible relationship with Park Bogum – they went on holiday together (see video of the two of them)

• Possible feelings for Kim Minjae

• Friends with Baekhyun, who is speculated to be bi

• “Stigma†lyrics could be interpreted as showing the struggles of being gay. Namjoon also would not talk about the meaning of this song despite speaking about the others, as he said it is personal to Taehyung

• Was comfortable/happy dancing in heels

• When Jimin first came into the dorm, he suggested that they sleep in their underwear with Jungkook. They were also “tangled upâ€

• Could have fallen out with his family because he came out to them – there was a period of time where he stopped mentioning them, even though he mentioned them a lot previously. This could also provide an inspiration for the “Stigma†lyrics

• When asked who he wanted to be on Halloween, he said he wanted to be the main character from “Cardcaptor Sakuraâ€(the main character is female)

• Said “I want to be Batman’s girlfriendâ€

• Friends with Sungjae from BTOB, who is speculated to like men

Imo the "Stigma" lyrics and his feelings for J-Hope are the most interesting. Also he's really comfortable with girls and doesn't get at all flustered with them. Like I said, I haven't completed his section yet so there could be more receipts out there

 

Edit: Also I'm open to anything that shows Taehyung has any interest in women, but I haven't seen something that's more than halfway convincing lol

 

 

 

I want to fix few things.

 

* About Stigma, he did not write the whole song. There were two other people who wrote the song with him.

* Lately he started talking about Stigma. He explains how the person in Stigma is someone who goes through so much pain they end up liking it.

* RM was also the one who wrote most of the 4 O’Clock, not Tae. " Moonlight " references was in the rap part.

 

* Also there is something that caught my attention for a long time. He talked about not crossing the borders around the members several times. It's like something happened and it seems like a big lesson for him. Maybe this is the answer we're looking for about the relationship between him and J-Hope, which is so bad for almost two years and is finally starting to recover? We all know that he's admire him. But that does not mean it's mutual. J-Hope might be very open about the fan service, but when it comes to real things, I think he's definitely closed minded.

Two things about Stigma:

 

1) He clarified that it's personal and about pain he was feeling (and wanting others to understand that pain). He didn't clarify the cause of the pain, just verified our belief it was about his personal experience. So that doesn't confirm or deny any speculation.

 

2) About being a person who is hurt so much they start enjoying the pain, that was about how he was protrayed in the video. You can't necessarily lump that in with the song itself, especially since the mv came at a much later date.

 

 

Let's not forget that the videos shot were suited to the atmosphere of the songs. According to Tae's explanation, the person in the song is suffering so much that he end up begins to like the pain. In the clip we see the character beaten and wounded many times. Despite all this, we see that Tae's character can not stay away from the crime and the streets. I don't know about you, but I think the song and the MV fit together when we think like this. Also, it is normal for Rapmon not to describe the song because it tells someone who is enjoying the pain in a almost masochistically. I can understand why RM has been avoided from the explanation. Of course, It would be more appropriate for Tae to make the explanation. 

 

Also Tae talks about making his song inspired by " Born to be Blue " movie. The film tells the life story of Chet Baker, a musician who always struggles with drug addiction. Tae has said many times that Chet Baker's one of he's favorite artists.

For all of the boys, the meaning of their solo songs on Wings are not directly attached to their Wings Teasers / Storyline.

Edit: Also RM specifically said that the song was personal for Taehyung. Also if they were willing to write a song and film a video with that meaning I see no reason why RM would feel uncomfortable commenting on it. Especially with how involved he was in the Wings storyline.

I agree with you. I think in Stigma Tae has come out to his family and I don't think it went well. I think they shunned him. I think that is why he is saying sorry to his brother and sister---apologizing for causing the family discord. Since Stigma, we had a sad Tae, we have boy who lives for his family, talks about his father with awe and reverence and all of a sudden he no longer speaks about his father. When asked in the 4 year Anniversary special who he respects, most influential to him, he used to put his father, this time he put several different men, artist, photographers, designers, actors-- but nothing about his father and in the picture of the head, they were to put what they think about, important to them, Tae has always put family in there and this time he does not put family at all. In his recent Vlive he says his bro and sister do not repsond to him on KK, hasnt talk to them in a long while. When they came back from their big tour, everyone went home to visit family, Tae did not, he went to Jeju Island with Bogum. When they returned to Korea for the second time, Tae preferred to watch the KDrama with Jungkook instead of going to his family again.

 

 

I think it is because his family blames "someone" that he is the reason Tae says he is gay and maybe Tae did not refute that or said nothing.... he couldnt keep him safe--- meaning he couldnt keep his family from blaming him?  I really do not know 

 

But after the last statements he made, I began to think that the song might have different meanings. Tae tells us that he just made the chorus part.  The rest of the song was completed by the other producers. He just told the producers he wanted them to create a song with a certain feeling. He says he wanted to create a jazz style song for a long time. He like movies like " Born to be Blue " The film tells the life story of Chet Baker, a jazz musician who always struggles with drug addiction. Tae has said many times that Chet Baker's one of he's favorite artists.  According to Tae's explanation, the person in the song (not the MV) is suffering so much that he end up begins to like the pain. 

 

 

So maybe, the song could be describing the pain of being addict and the pain they give to other people because of that. Chet was a drug addict. In the MV his father was an alcoholic. Tae's character beaten and wounded many times. Despite all this, we see that his character can not stay away from the crime and the streets. Wanting to feel more pain. This is a very serious subject and I am sure that it has special meaning for Tae. RM said that the song was personal for Taehyung. But It does not mean that he is talking about himself. Maybe he's been influenced by a close friend, a family member, or even a movie character, as he witnesses their suffering. We can not throw all these possibilities.

 

 

So many different interpretations of the song prove how beautiful it is. You can interpret it the way you want it, I'm not against it. I'm just trying to get different interpretations.^^

I think this is relevant to the topic since he's often discussed here, but do you guys think Taehyung has a crush on Irene (since rabid fangirls always say this and I don't think is as reaching as other hetero shippy stuff)? Actually I already posted this thing back then. Please look above. I'm a Jimin stan so I know. Jimin kinda the most flirty in BTS towards women. There are more than this like interviews in China, I can't find where but he kinda flirts around with the mc because the mc kinda likes him. The most obvious one is with Heyne. I personally believe Jimin is bi because I think he likes Jk more than a brother eventhough he said he just see him as his real brother. I have never seen Jimin interacted with his brother other than the new year video where his brother only appear briefly. If Jimin acted like that towards his own brother like he did with JK, I will take it that he sees Jk as his brother. I know this is the gay thread but sometimes people here only took what they want to see and dismissed Jimin's attraction towards opposite gender.

Firstly, I do hope those earlier pictures aren't from sasaeng sites? because that's...a little...yikes. And none of these prove anything other than that he has female friends lmao. Plus, as user raspberry84 mentioned - plenty of people have compulsory het relationships in high school. I know male friends who did personally. As for the second set of pictures, it was confirmed it's Jimin's high school friend because she also has her own youtube makeup channel iirc? There was a tweet on my tl about it, I'll check again if I have time.

 

And thirdly, as someone who doesn't really see the flirting with fans as anything but part of their fanservice...I don't think the rest applies at all. I'm talking specifically about the video where they interact with fans. BTS are repeatedly said to be amazing at fanservice. It just goes to show they're not homophobic for flirting back with male fans. They have also always maintained that respectful distance from their fandom - no one's going to forget Namjoon "long-distance-friendzoning" us in his vlive any time soon lmao. I remember a lot of people being super amused about it.

 

Idk, I stand by the thought that this particular line of discussion has no place on this thread. Jimin could be any sexuality at all, but it's not our job to speculate about his exes, which is always a dangerous line of discussion given that these girls are normal citizens and not celebs. But even if you do, I don't think bringing these pictures into it is appropriate since it... well, proves nothing apart from the fact that Jimin may have been on a date with a girl when he was around 16. Jimin's said himself that he's changed from debut era - and the change is palpable in him. You don't need to stan him to see it. So I don't see how it couldn't involve him being more true to himself or his preferences.

 

I don't think I have anything else to add, but this whole post came off as kind of shady to me? And I should point out, again - nothing is recent apart from the Hawaii thing, which could just mean he swings both ways or none. I don't see why anyone would bother trying to bring in these receipts when there's also pictures of other idols' (see: Jungkook's, Wonho's, Hyungwon's I think) rumoured exes floating around the internet and barely anyone brings that up.

I am following this topic for a long time. I just think that people's approach to this topic is a little interesting. Some users have post that the sexual preference of people has begun to shape in the teenage days. Here is the evidence of Jimin's relationship with his girlfriends in that age. 

 

While some users present their answers and responses to male fans as evidence (!), they do not consider it fan service. They even made a list of these because their interactions with male fans seem to be something that proves their sexual preferences. But when we present the interactions with the female fans, then becomes a fan service. ;_;

 

Some users ask for evidence of him interest in women, so here's the proof. More than once and after (!!!) deput. But no one want to see this.

 

Jimin's said himself that he's changed from debut era but I think he meant other things. He was a member who was trying to snatch to fans with his muscles. After a certain period of time, he completely stopped exhibiting those muscles. To reply to someone from earlier: it's not our job to speculate about rumoured exes when we don't know if they were exes at all. Googling and coming up with pictures, also, does not make them not-sasaeng pictures, just fyi. I agree with the fact that no one should be banned outright from this thread, but I also think it's totally valid to feel irritation at anyone who's going into the straight by default mode from the start, given the content of this thread. Any of these idols can be anything between pan to straight, but assumptions without basis or example are just...bad. I also agree with some users who have pointed out that establishing someone's attraction to women, however skin-deep, does not take away from their potential attraction to men or any other gender, so I still don't think it has any place in this thread unless someone asks for receipts on bisexuality specifically. It's one thing to talk about someone being potentially bisexual and calling them straight af off a very thin assumption or intuition. (I'm not even going into the heterophobia comment...it's 2018.)

No, that is not true:

 

• I pointed out the definition in the first part of that sentence: 장가가다 is only used when a man gets married. Which is true. Naver’s translation says: ë‚¨ìžê°€ 결혼하여 ë‚¨ì˜ ë‚¨íŽ¸ì´ ë˜ë‹¤ (When a man gets married and becomes another person’s husband).  
• The second part of that sentence is not a definition. It is my explanation of what that sentence could have meant, i.e., men would be lucky to marry Jimin.

I was merely pointing out that Jungkook used the wrong word for “marry.†That’s it.

 

Had he kept it without fixing it, he would had implied that the fan was either a man or that any man would be lucky to marry Jimin. But Jungkook corrected himself and used 시집오다 (some Koreans also heard it as 시집가다), implying that the fan girl in front of him or any woman would be lucky to marry Jimin.
