It was also a way to show that you were "safe' to go to if someone was being harassed or felt in danger for help. Which is a nice sentiment but people also wore them long before that for fashion reasons so it's not easy to see who was doing it to make a statement and who was doing it to show support. To me, as a gay man, it was obvious he was gay and so very emotional from the start of his career. I think his relationship with Key was the most 'out' there relationship in Kpop aside from YunJae. I know Key is also part of us, and I do sincerely hope that Minho and Onew are close to him today and keeping a close eye on him. We know, and that will have to be enough. I agree in a way with what Honeanias has said. It would be so disrespectful to out him after he is dead. I don't think anyone would do that on purpose, especially those that loved him. S Korea is very repressive to being gay. It is so sad he could not say it in his dying letter and to still have to keep it inside him to his dying day. I doubt we will every know what made him go over the edge, but in serious depression it is always difficult to tell. I can't stand the fact that people are pointing their cams at mourners, real life friends, protegees, his loved ones who are clearly hurting. Like, Ten had sunglasses on, Yuta, Doyoung, Taeyong had their hair covering their eyes, Jisung was all puffy, Hyoyeon looked so empty, everyone looked so sad and I don't think it was morally okay to film any of them like that. Even if it's a public event for the fans, filming it feels so wrong. If you know what I mean? People do need to grieve, in a way, this will help many of his fans that would not be able to get there to attend. I cannot even fathom how the other members of Shinee are coping. However, one of the Shawols I follow on Twitter said that apparently there is a very disturbing video of Key walking to the funeral hall, and he is in a "very bad state". But I have not seen the video anywhere, perhaps it is only available on Korean sites? Also, I think juxtaposing the letter with the ring says a hell of a lot. I always feel harder for the ones who are left behind and Key worried me most from the beginning due to my personal thoughts and feelings about the two of them. However, although he seems devastated, the letter seems to imply that he'll be okay eventually. I think it says other things but I won't mention them here because they aren't on topic. Finally, I do believe there will be a more concrete answer one day about Jjong's sexuality simply because I can't see Key remaining closeted forever and when he eventually does whatever he will do, people will look back at their interactions and understand a little more. O/T anyway - I'm now worried about Taemin and Onew. Onew seemed completely lifeless and Taemin seemed emotionless. I hope that all four get the help they need in the coming months.
