It's quite refreshing to see and about bts i'm with you on Taehyung and Yoongi, i would only replace namjoon with Jimin and put gay . same i only recently found her channel but she's so funny! and when i saw that she makes videos for girl groups too i smashed that subscribe button with the speed of light. i have no idea why someone negged you when you're literally just stating your own opinion. i disagree about the namjoon and jimin part, but then again my perception of them is constantly changing. when i first joined the fandom in 2014 i thought of rm as the straightest member and jimin as the gayest, but over time i realized that was mostly because my own preconceived and internalized notions about how masculinity and femininity relates to gayness. jimin could definitely be gay, but i just don't see it anymore. even in this video he says "guys don't kiss" at 4:17 to jhope... i think he definitely enjoys male attention, but attraction??? idk man. namjoon on the other hand? has a whole book of receipts lmao. at first i, like everyone else, just thought he was a very chill ally, but now it's gotten to the point where even straight fans are doing a double take at some of the stuff he says. 6 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That "guys don't kiss" comment is from a long time ago, like 2014 or earlier, and a lot of fans have noticed how earlier in their career Jimin seemed to has a lot of issues surrounding his masculinity. If you watch a lot of their early videos he's always desperate for male attention (Tony from AHL comes to mind) while also seeming to put a lot of pressure on himself to be a certain way. You would never see Jimin dressing the way he does now (that is, a lot more femininely with a lot of long earrings and soft sweaters) four years ago when he basically spent every video in a snapback and a tshirt. Again, none of this necessarily translates to his sexuality, maybe he has just grown up and gotten over all that toxic masculinity, but something about the way he acts around men has always really pinged me. He's also really close friends with Kai and Taemin, both of which I'm pretty positive are queer. I agree with you about the rest though, Hobi has always kinda confused me on this front (I'm pretty positive he's accepting, but otherwise he's so private about his emotions that its hard to get any kind of read on him) and Namjoon is pretty obviously not straight. true. jimin has gotten so much more comfortable in his own skin since debut, which i think has more to do with him overcoming his body dysmorphia (tho i still worry about him sometimes), than coming to terms with his sexuality. jimin seems less bothered with his height, in fact he seems to actually embrace his more feminine qualities, like having a smaller frame and a higher voice than the others. this could be an indicator about his sexuality. i kinda disagree about the fashion though. while the dangly earrings and big sweaters might seem like a stark contrast to the hypermasculine image he had early on, i think this actually just shows how the trends have changed within the last couple years. jimin has great style, but he isn't exactly very experimental or radical with his fashion. he usually just wears whatever is popular. to bring up namjoon again, i definitely feel like his skirt collection deserves to be mentioned here. now THAT is radical. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

In that backstage video Hoseok was fooling around playing bad guy, he's playfully threatening Jimin by intruding into his personal space and coming for his chain. There is no sexual content, yet Jimin is glancng at his lips and suddenly talking about "guys don't kiss".. I mean, what kissing has to do with bad guy threatening good guy? In fights in the begining two might come close to each other threatening. It's like, kiss is the only quick assosiation which Jimin has for situation when guy comes too close to another guy or at least he thought about such situations pretty much so he automatically spoke up about it when it happened with him. Now I am pretty sure he likes men, but I still think he's bi. Go to any shipping thread or forum and you'll see literally dozens of posts identical to the one made about the NCT teaser. *Two men next to each other in a teaser* captioned "gay culture" is literally the formula for getting retweets on kpop Twitter or Tumblr. Trust me, nothing ship related is gonna make straight fans mad. The reason this thread exists is so we can actually discuss the sexuality of the idols we like outside of abstract and fictional contexts. Ship related stuff can and should be allowed here as long as its being used as evidence for something. Posting a pic of two guys next to each other with no context isn't that, especially if its a posed music video teaser staged by the company outside of an idols control. It has zero to do with talking about whether the idols are queer or not. Posts like that belong in the shipping threads, I'm sure there are already tons of posts just like it already there. Jungkook was only a 14 year old child that time, and we all know how shy he is.
