Leland22 917
Here you go, friend. Thank you! +1 Idk I didn't notice anything strange. Like for Jackson he is person who has a lot of sides to his personality. He's not always happy. He's respecting it at the interviews a lot that he can't be always happy he's only human, sometimes he's serious and thoughtful, sometimes sad. Also they are working non-stop for so long having comeback after comeback and then some Japanese comeback and then some fanmeetings, and concerts; he in addition has schedul in China and flies back and forth a lot, and also less than a month of rest and then heavy schedule isn't something that can cure anemia which he from the members' remarks has and suffering from. From my perspective it's not strange when person in conditions like this snaps and less toleration of bullshit. Also since that girl in the T with 'jaebum fucks jinyoung' on the fanmeet and also since the whole fans taking Bam calling Mr Tuan daddy in a dirty way they are more and more cautious. Because the more easygoing and accepting they are towards fans the more fans crossing their boundaries. I don't think Jackson's reaction to person tagging his mom and him and other members is extreme. He's setting his boundaries. The thing is people shouldn't tag them in the first place. But then if they did it should have been enough for him to ask one time. But he had to ask several times. Also it's not 'no shopping' it's literally no forcing fantasies on them aka not tagging them in shipping posts and trying to involve them. Also they literally explained why it's uncomfortable for them and they want it to stop on ch+: because they are overthinking, sometimes some members feel left out, it provoke jealousy and overanalysing. Also about Youngjae. I believe sunshine is also really really tired. Also he had back problems last year and couldn't even participate in activities. And then he had them not long ago around Australia fanmeet tour which makes me believe he didn't actually recovered completely. Pain makes people not too happy. Averall got7 are deadly tired and almost constantly ill one after another. Our fandom grows bigger, but becomes a little bit more extreme. And fans are crossing lines too often. Also people who call Jackson homophobe after he rightfully stands for himself. I'm sideeying them so hard. Like I remember a lot of shippers who are fantanizing about member on member action lost their shit and were awful and homophobic for real in commentsof his Instagram after that episode of snl where he pecked a dude on the lips. Very well said. Also +1 Edited May 23, 2017 by Leland22

Leland22 917
I just finally caught up with this thread! I've read a couple of people mention some pushback on people suspecting Joshua and Jeonghan (individually, not as a ship). The general line of reasoning seems to be that both are suspected because of their appearance and demeanor (correct me if I'm wrong) which is a valid concern. My previous understanding, however, was that the two are largely suspected because of their seeming lack of interest in females, their body language around males and -- for Jeonghan at least -- what appears to be something of a desire for male attention. I've also seen some say what I understood as essentially Joshua (and NCT's Jaehyun) can't be gay or at least that it's less likely because of their religious background (again, correct me if I'm wrong), which doesn't seem very logical to me because homosexuality is not a choice and because of my own upbringing in an ultraconservative, hyper-religious community and family, complete with very stereotypically "masculine" expectations for males. If I may ask and look at the situation from another perspective, what specifically makes those of you who suspect that Jeonghan and Joshua are straight suspect that they are straight? Leland22 917
Jaehyun is an atheist and so is Taeyong, Ten's a buddhist. Thank you for clarifying. I think I read someone initially thinking he was Christian and got confused. yeah probably but I don't recall anyone (at least not recently) saying he's def straight just because he's religious like some people said about joshua, like you said the discussion was about how he might not be 100% comfortable with it. Even if he was straight though no matter how religious idt Mark has a hateful bone in his body. Well I did say correct me if I'm wrong which was good because I really was wrong lol. I guess reading that many pages while tired made it easy to mix things up. No worries though, the religious aspect was really a sidenote of my comment and that's why I put it in spoilers. I just want to know what, specifically, makes people suspect that Jeonghan and Joshua are straight. Is there anything other than assumed straightness as a "standard orientation" basically? Leland22 917
Dammit sorry. Double post. Thought I could edit these into my previous comment. What makes you think Seonho is gay?Dongho is straight imo. Not that I have an opinion one way or the other but probably things like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jv1PqRsitlg Hi guys, what are your thoughts on Jeonghan? Past his face and his hair he seems pretty straight, but when you watch him closer he does shit like this: 0:33 he licks his lips checking out Vernon.. and his lipbite @ 1:08 watching S.coups.. this isn't the first time he reacted like this to watching his members sexy dance too.. Not challenging you but I am curious, what makes Jeonghan seem straight to people? Is there anything in particular that makes you (or anyone else who wants to answer) suspect that? Leland22 917
I actually don't think Jeonghan's straight, I said that because people here seem to think so. I think the reason why is because when they look at him they think "oh it's too obvious for him to be gay because of how he looks", and then they realize Jeonghan's very chill and laid back, and that he's good at sports and is just an overall cool guy, and then they're like "oh he's gotta be straight, the pretty flower boy is just his image". But Jeonghan's my bias, and I pay alot of attention to him. He seems to be constantly flirting with his members and he loves their attention, but I can't seem to figure out if he's just messing with them because he knows they find him attractive and he finds it fun because he's a mischievous guy, or if he's doing it because he likes attention from anyone, or if he's just into guys period. Honestly, I just can't seem to figure him out, but I'm gonna go with bi for now. Thank you for explaining. I'm trying to recall a time where Jeonghan (or Joshua) showed interest in women but can't remember anything. Can you think of any?
Leland22 917
For anyone who thinks Sehun and Tao weren't gay and dating \ I didn't ship them but it would not have shocked me at all. 6
Leland22 917
am i the only one a bit tired of heechul's overcompensating macho act? just to put an example, i was just watching this one variety show where hong seokcheon was talking about the contestants of p101 s2 and he couldnt help but be like "i mean, why in the world would you watch a show with a bunch of boys?" while the other male mcs werent even bothered Idk, maybe im just being a bit unfair but i often find myself rolling my eyes at him Not to be bitchy but that'd also be a pretty stupid question for him to ask. 7
Leland22 917
I think we touched on this before but when people say someone is bi, do they mean that the person has given us reason to suspect that they like both men and women or are they essentially using it as a way to imply that someone isn't "full gay" or whatever? Sometimes it seems more like the latter, honestly. 17
Leland22 917
I just thought it was funny Funny how people are saying Jackson should educate him mostly. Educate him on what exactly? He hasn't said boys liking boys is wrong. But some people are acting as if he did. I am not defending him nor saying people don't have a right to feel the way they do about him. I am just laughing at how some people are making him out to be the most homophobic idol in existence when at most all he said is "I am straight." over and over. It is a case of him being dumb at least and having fragile masculinity at worst. I understand what you mean but there is an implication there. This is not exactly analogous but imagine if he said "black girls said I love you to me but I like Korean/East Asian girls" and any time people brought up black girls he'd go out of his way to state that he only likes Korean/East Asian girls. Of course everyone has their preferences and he wouldn't outright be saying "I hate black girls" or whatever but it would be pretty clear that he was framing liking them in a negative light or something to be defensive over. To me that is wrong. It's caused by ignorance I'm sure but it's still wrong. And keep in mind that isn't all that he's said. (This is coming from someone who is a fan besides this aspect of his persona) Edited June 25, 2017 by Leland22
Leland22 917
That isn't really comparable at all though. And as for the other thing he said during the Bromance broadcast... That has been taken out of context in so many ways that I don't feel like rehashing. But as I said before people definitely have the right to feel how they want about him. And in no way am I saying they are wrong for feeling that way. It is just a difference in opinion. Also just to be clear I am not an apologist. I'd call him the fuck out too if I felt he said something truly dangerous. I just don't think that is entirely the case here. On a lighter note... Have this. Click here to view the Tweet Don't know if posted already. I already said it's not exactly analogous lol. The part that mattered was the idea of framing one preference (insert one that works for you) in a negative light or something to be defensive over. That is offensive. Beyond that, I don't think there's a need to nitpick the example at all. As far as the Bromance scene, I've seen the episode multiple times. in context, I think it was wrong. And I think a lot of people here feel that way without any extra negative spin put on it. And I agree that dead horse has been beaten severely I was only pointing out that the current issue is not an isolated incident in the least. I don't know that anyone's really painting it as dangerous or anything else other than offensive and a sign of ignorance. I think it's natural that people would voice their issues with it. (And again, this is coming from someone who is a fan who's been following his career since before jj project rather than a blind hater; a cursory glance at my blog shows 1302 Got7 posts. 411 of those are JB specific and that's only counting what I remembered to tag)
