He just comes off as a gay dude in denial trying so hard to fit the mold. It's a case I've seen one too many times lol. Taehyun seems like the type who will literally never come out and even marry a woman to convince himself he's straight lol. It seems he might've been a bit more comfortable with himself before getting into YG/the industry, but the criticism he got while there kinda ruined him, from my perspective at least. Mark is the one who's the most confusing to me in the group. No matter what, I always seems to straddle the fence when it comes to him....... Sometimes I think he's super gay, but sometimes I think he's genuinely straight..... As of right now, with their current promotions, I'm leaning more on the gay side for some reason, but it just might switch up again. I really don't see the point after being demonized, made to feel less-of, and being denied basic human rights because of these exact religious groups. It comforts you when you're feeling down and makes you feel good again, it hurts you and those around you if you have too much of it, and it hurts you even more if you try to distance yourself from it (and others who are still on it lash out at you and try to get you to stay). People stay because it's easier, even if it's ultimately more painful. It's easier to beg for scraps than it is to go out and hunt your own feast. mhm I agree. dk why people down-voted you though. Perhaps cause you compared it with drugs? lol Religion was basically made by man to explain things and comfort fears and insecurities. We live in an age now that literally everyone KNOWS there isn't much fact to substantiate most of these religious claims, but they choose to believe in it anyway, cause it brings comfort of some sort I guess.... That there's an after life and whatnot, and that the "bad people" they hate won't be coming with them. Actually, I've refrained from telling my parents I'm no longer religious, because, like you said, I know for a fact they'd lash out. Honestly, from my perspective though, if there was a heaven and a kind god, they wouldn't send you to hell for not believing, and they probably wouldn't be demanding sacrifices and constant praise from one race and planet "he created" amongst all the other existence in the universe. It's all ridiculous if you look at it with just a simple scope of logic imo, but religion has become so big, people are scared to abandon it at this point.
