Which male idols do you think are gay?

I'm so late, but I've been reading what I missed. 

 

While the topic is still (kinda) on Jungkook, I wanted to bring up something kind of related.

 

I find that people often assume that if a man, or more specifically a male idol (for what I'm talking about), is viewed as more masculine, or has a masculine image, then they're automatically assumed to be straight. I think even some people in this thread do that too. Even if that person has a lot receipts, then they're more likely to be written off as nothing, compared to an idol who may have a less masculine image.

 

To bring it back to Jungkook, he does kind of have a more 'manly' image in BTS and I think he's one of the members that a lot of people think is straight, which might be linked to this in why people may think that. But he has soooo many valid receipts (literally just refer to burntgucci's list), I feel like he can even be considered one of the more obvious ones in the group, but so often people completely ignore all the things he's said/done to suggest that he might not be straight. It's like people forget that,,, you can be a masculine man,,,,, and still be gay/not straight,, what a concept!!!! I feel like there are a lot of cases like this (NCT's Jaehyun, anyone??)

The only guy in BTS I could say I'm sure is gay, is Jungkook (and as of recently Jin).
And the "masculine" image, like... wow, he has muscles and likes sports, such a masculine, manly, extra straight dude.  
If we go by stereotypes, Jungkook acts more effeminate than Tae, Hope and Jimin together. But that slides as "awwww, baby bunny behaviour", and one ab flash is enough to label him as this straight fuckboi who 100% has a crush on only female he ever mentioned, because what else are we going to use as a heteroproof, right?

Speaking of Jungkook. He seemed to be pretty impressed with (others too) the interviewer’s muscles. To the point that he had to squeeze the guy’s shoulder at 1:34.

Oh, Jk loves to oggle, squeeze and touch muscles, and he's never mentioned as the touchy one in BTS, next to Jm and Tae. The amount of times he said how good it feels to touch Jin's butt...

But, BUT! Would it not be one of the most deliciously fabulous things if Bighit just happened to align the planets and unwittingly round up seven non-hetties in one group. Like one of those magical coincidences where someone falls out of a window twice and lands on the same person, twice. And then marries them.  

 

It is scientifically possible. But at the same time I'm a realist and I'll take just one bi-curious mortal as a reason to celebrate.  

I'm sorry for... triple-posting, but I don't think that would be strange at all. There are SO many people auditioning every year, I think there's a big possibility that there might be a group with 7 non het guys. 

It would be ridiculous to say that there's no straight guys in groups like NCT, Seventeen, The Boyz... but a group with 5, 6, 7 men, especially in bigger companies where more people audition? I think it's very likely to happen.

(I guess there's less chances to happen in BTS since BH was small and probably not a lot people auditioned, but still...  )

I wouldn't expect from EXO and SM to edit these things out, but I'm just used to newer, annoyingly clean BTS.

I don't think it's 'clear' what he's talking about so everyone can take their best guess, based on the fact Jimin is a male with a sense of humour who likes to tease his boys.

 

It's never 'clear' to me how people assume Jimin to be staring at some female performer's butt and thinking about sex when he could be starting at her choreo moves or her costume.

 

But there you go. 

I said it's "clear" because this is a group who's company blurres out member's collar bones in the videos (when they're wearing something with a deeper cut), so I think it's understandable that I find it surprising that they don't edit out comments on each other's dick sizes.

You have people 'struggling' to see how Jimin is anything other than 100% heterosexual, even on this thread. Especially in light of the fact many are so keen to read sexual overtures into every little smirk or move he makes around women. 

 

Let's take the above, because I think it's an amazing example of spontaneous human behaviour.

 

Even if you ignore his glance back at those guys and the movement of his mouth, which is his body's way of making his lips look bigger by faux pouting, you then have his brain telling him to smooth his hair, even as they're walking away, he's tidying himself, to look his best. This is how human body-brain language works and it's fascinating. He won't have even had time to think, 'ah I'll smooth my hair', his brain has just jumped in and ordered it in a fraction of a second. Why? Why does he need to preen himself and look good when those guys walk past? Why would it matter?

I hate that this is just a gif and you can't find the video of that moment anywhere, because from his cam, the moments before that, you can see he already noticed them (or that one guy), was looking at them aaaand he turned around   so it wasn't just a glimpse (because I see people saying he just looked at them for a millisecond, and that the gif was slowed down, or that they yelled something at them so Jm turned around (which... they didn't?))

Oh! For some reason my head said dangshin but my hand said jagiya! How embarrassing. You are right about that Jungkook said once aegiya which is the movie quote, but my intention was about he said dangshin. It's like the same meaning to jagiya for couples. (But Jungkook said other romance movie quotes to Jimin in different times, so maybe I think that can be suspicious too)

 

In the vacations, the reason for suspicion is not the vacation but so much time spending together, right? Work, and hang out, and even going to vacation on top of. I think it's comparable from that viewpoint.

 

Super Junior are veterans of entertainment, so they have money and the freedom for to taking vacations for some years. BTS are not veterans, 2017 was the first international free time vacations for several of members. But, before that (and still now) Jimin and Jungkook sleep the same bedroom often and visit to each other hotel room, backstage buddies, airport buddies, van buddies, and often spotted eating or shopping or other activities in the free time those two only together. Even in GCF videos screen time is 20% solo Jimin (not to count GCF in Tokyo, or it will be 30%) it's 2x any of other members solo. And on twitter in one year until now, any Jungkook's couple tweets are approximately 75% with Jimin (only count once per tweet even with multiple pictures). Jimin and Jungkook can be said that they are glued at the hip.

 

Jimin and Taehyung are the best friends, so what is that relationship if somebody is spending more time even than your best friend? Maybe some different word that starting with "b" and ending with "friend"?

 

Regarding first snow, alone it has some other meanings, but with somebody it's having the special implication. Especially he emphasize it's not the real first snow but only his first snow, it's important to him to see the first snow that he will bend the rules. In Korean culture, if you see the first snow together as a couple, your love will last a long time (or, if you are just the crush stage, your love will bloom).

 

Even if you disagree, I think you will see it's same amount of logic. Not less.

As much as I, as a casual Jikook (and vhope and taejin and vmin and jihope iol) shipper, like this, they all have same/similar jewelry, Tae wore that same ring, they probably share a bunch of stuff they wear if it's for the shows and not their personal styling.

 

Also, you don't know if Vmin are best friends, or if any of them are friends at all, they can tell us whatever they want, we don't know them.

 

And the part with percentages... Sorry, but, maybe you should take it less serious.

What do we care who they're dating?

It's all fun and cute, but when people start convincing someone the ship is real, it kinda creeps me out. I can gather you "evidence" of all the members combinations from the group, to look like all of them are dating each other, all of them have moments that people can use to convince someone they're dating.  

But it shouldn't matter that much, it's just people you don't know, why is it important? And you'll never know the truth anyway.

I swear every other group that gets posted, no one ever mentions shipping or fights about what is seen on the photo/video. I don't get what it is about BTS.

About English, I understand it completely, but I never talked with anyone in English except 10 years ago and with a German guy. So, if I was getting interviewed like them, there's no way I would talk, especially if there's a guy who's confident in his English-speaking skills. But it doesn't mean I don't understand you.

Does anyone else notice any changes when it comes to Jk recently? My English sucks, so idk how this will sound, but it's like he's embracing that feminine side more..? Ok, I need to rant somewhere. The whole top/bottom talk on twitter, I already hated the whole thing and the way they stereotype, but now I'm noticing they also act like tops are somehow superior..? Like, oh, we knew Hoseok is a top. Hoseok king, of course he's a top. Like...what's up with that? There's tons of more examples, Hoseok is just the one I've seen recently.

And I get most of those tweets ("tops drive like this, bottoms drive like that") are meant to be a joke, but some people are straight up offended if someone says their fave is a bottom. I don't get it?

 

Also, sorry to some people that were bothered by me being happy because of Jk's behaviour, didn't know that's a "no" on this thread.
