Dont know the reason why he cried maybe it has something to do with the moon ( as a metaphor in 4 o'clock). They way jimin cares for V is very heartwarming Remember in BV 2 when they read their letters to each other? What he meant by this was that he and his partner are opposing characters just like E&B.
