Actually I really don't care getting negged. Some users here share really simple little things and do not get any reaction like this. But when I share Taekook I get the same reaction " every " time. I am sure that there are a lot of irrelevant things in this thread that I can find just because the members are standing side by side or they are hugging or just looking at each other (just a bag god sake!). But why are people getting tense when Taekook is posted? It may not be acceptable to you, but it may be acceptable to me. After all, this section is completely based on interpretation. Maybe the you are the person who must be get the hints? Maybe other people are paying attention to different things. ;)

You still don't get it. Taekook and your other ships could be real af and you would still be getting negged because you never have receipts. Dudes looking at each other aren't receipts. BTS gets discussed all the time here and those posts don't get negged because they are actual discussion, not "hey look these two are cute together, I ship them." This isn't the place for that.

If I were an incredibly famous idol, and I was in relationship with someone I was in the same group, I would not act like that. If I had been living with a camera in front my nose for 7/24, I would stay as far away from the camera as possible on this short vacation given to me. Especially if I was going on a trip with my friend or my boyfriend, I would try to spend it more privately. Maybe we'll take a few pictures or a few videos but it's never that much. Not like this. When I watched the video, all I felt was "too much". I know that some of the people here suspect Bogum and V's relationship. Do you remember their video? Yeah, that's exactly what I'm talking about. I'm not sure if this trip was organized by the company, but there's one thing I'm sure of, there's nothing but friendship between them. Apart from the song, there is nothing in that video that gives me couple vibes. I wonder what they did other than to walk around and filming each other? They acted like filming each other much more important rather than having private time.

Many times, the only way idols have to hide a same-sex relationship is precisely disguising it as a close friendship tho? Look at those 2 History members. It's basically an open secret in Korea that they were (and maybe still are) together but that didn't stop them from being skinship-y with each other all the time precisely because they knew most of people would take it as a friendship or "fanservice". I'm not affirming that Jikook are together but I'm not ruling out the possibility either. I don't know why people here are so adamant with denying ANY possibility of them being together or being "friends with benefits" when it's perfectly possible. Why can you be so sure that they have nothing but a friendship if you don't know them personally? People act as if relationships between groupmates was impossible when it's happened plenty of times. And again, I'm pretty sure that if it was a m/f couple doing exactly the same, even if it's just filming each other while walking/eating, nobody would doubt they're a couple, which it's incredibly hypocritical.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Of course, there are possibilities for them to be together, but I don't think they are, and I'm sure of that. You sound like Korea is the only country that against to the same sex, but it is not. This situation receives different reactions almost everywhere in the world. More in some countries, less in others. But fan service is part of the Asian entertainment culture. Also remember that the companys supports this. Fan service has an important place especially in Asian groups. Companies know this, and most likely they encourage members to do it, even train them on this issue. I would not have been suspicious of Taekook if I were against the possibility of a relationship between the group members.

 

 

Everyone thought Harry and Liam were together. But then what happened? Liam is now a child's father. And he said that the shippers  making it strange their relationship. But shippers still think they are together and do you know what they say? Gay mens get married and have children to hide their relationships. 

 

Likewise, the fans thought that Kamenashi and Akanishi (KAT-TUN) were together. They were the most legendary ship in the country (Japan). But now Akanishi is married and has two children. Their fans say the same thing that Larry shippers say. I call it a denial.

 

 

I accept that we misunderstand the closeness of the two guys, especially the idols who have been trained to fanservice. Yes, there is always the possibility. But we must be careful not to confuse friendship, work and love. When I watched that video, I saw two friends who came together for a specific purpose, and while doing so, they were trying to have fun.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I think that saying that the whole trip was basically planned by the company for "fanservice" is a huge reach. They clearly went in their private time because they wanted it, just like Namjoon went to Europe too. And I still don't get why are you so sure that there's nothing between them when you don't know them personally. They could or could not have something but there's no way to know that unless you know them personally. Again, I'm not affirming they are together like those Larry shippers or whatever did, I'm simply saying that I'm not ruling out the possibility like many others here. And let's not act as if gay men getting married to hide their homosexuality in countries where there's still a LOT of homophobia wasn't a thing. The new generations might be more accepting, I don't deny that, but homosexuality is still rampant in Korea and other countries, especially in places like the ARMY where homosexual men have gotten beaten and punished for it. In the idol world, "fanservice" and skinship is accepted as long it's sold as part of a fantasy for fans, but coming out for real? That'd be literally the end of their career. That's why many gay/lesbian idols probably use the whole "fanservice" thing to hide a real relationship

1) Of course, there are possibilities for them to be together, ı'm not deny it. I don't see what you see in that video., it's just that simple. You have to admit that some people can not agree with you. It's okay if we have different thoughts as long as we respect each other's thoughts. 

 

2) In the same way you are not a part of their lives. You have no idea what's planned behind closed doors. This is true for both sides.

 

3) I did not say that this trip was organized by the company, but there is definitely something suspicious about it. 

 

4) What I notice in this thread is that some of the users always suggest the same things to support their claims. 

 

 

They are hiding in the friendship umbrella because they can not come out.

 

Having been married and having children, it does not change a thing, many gay men always do it this.

But they have no evidence to prove their claims other than these cues. That's why I gave those examples. They are famous idol. Don't forget that. Besides, as far as I know, Jungkook's favorite thing is to filming of other members. That's why there's so much difference between two videos. And doesn't Jimin always tell us that he see Junkook as his little brother? Didn't he say that many times before? Even in his thank-you message to Jungkook, didn't he write " your hyung " ? If we accept that their words are true, we don't have to argue anyway.

I'd take a step back and re-evaluate whether downplaying jungkook and jimin's closeness (saying the company is partially involved with their decision to take and document a trip together) is because you think it's true or because you ship jungkook with taehyung - or whether you're able to evaluate it without shipping biases, period.

 

 

Of course I don't try to convince anyone. If my language makes me sound defensive probably because English is not my mother  language. I work really hard to express myself here. But I know that I can not learn this language without practicing. If I made mistakes in while writing, and my words appear to be harsh or defensive, please consider this. Actually, I don't want to argue with anyone. I'm not criticizing your english (which is perfectly fine!) but instead the insistence that there must be something orchestrated about the video. truthfully I don't care if jimin and jungkook are involved in any way - I'm just tired of the argument that their friendship/relationship is done for marketing/fans.

 

BTS are pros at fanservice, no one can deny that, but I don't think they exaggerate their friendships. they're very real about admitting when 2 people were/are awkward with each other (ex: yoongi and taehyung during bon voyage2), how they're often caught up in individual schedules during off-season (and don't really hang out at the dorm together), they'll eat meals separately, etc.

 

what we know for sure is that 1) BTS were given a few days off for vacation 2) they spent it with family and 3) jimin and jungkook cut their family time in busan short a couple days to go overseas to shop, eat, and have fun. it's heartwarming that two members still chose to spend precious free time with each other because they enjoy each other's company that much. and in the spirit of this thread, that's more than enough for ambiguity and speculation.

 

 

 

 

 

Thank you for your kind words.  My biggest concern is misunderstanding. Especially because it's a language I try to learn.  This section exists because we can discuss such things. We only evaluate the situation differently. We are speculating about people who do not know them personally. What about their family? What will their parents think when they watch these videos? a) Their parents know and approve their relationships. b) They think it is a trip with a friend, and may feel uncomfortable about doing this kind of interpretation.

c) They think it is part of their work and they don't care about interpretations. I'm just trying to look at it from a broader perspective. They went to places where they could easily be recognized. They didn't try to hide, they didn't care to be noticed. They take film almost every step they take. They share their videos both on the official YouTube channel and on Twitter accounts. I just don't see two idols living in a secret relationship when all come together. That's all.

The hipocrisy of some people in this thread pushingthe straight agenda, im happy to see that the one who think jungkook is gay have a good reaction to the IU video sharing the possibility that he might have a crush on girls. I don't think there's anything going on with Yoongi and Tae, or Yoongi and Jungkook. 

 

These two admire Yoongi, sure, and that's where it ends. It's just impossible for me to thin anything about Yoongi and Jungkook when he says "father's heart" every time he talks about Jungkook. So yeah, their dynamic is different. 

 

As for Tae and Yoongi, I believe they are too alike (bull headed) and hence, they argue a lot, which is where the hand holding thing came from. They seem to get along more nowadays, but I don't think their personalities allow for a romantic relationship, at all. 

 

 

Since we talking about Jungkook, I wonder why no one is post something about his Bon Voyage1 moments here? I mean, the boy literally wrote " Jungkook ♥ Taehyung Forever " on the sand, but no one ever brings this here. If we see a man or girl doing something like that for someone else, don't we think they are couple?^^

I wish I could find this exact clip right now but Im pretty sure they were writing the name of all the members and army on the sand and that somehow kind of ended up being a coincidence (going by memory). Jimin noticed and simply joked aorund by congratulating them and telling them to date for a long time or something along those lines

Btw, here, Taehyung made a statement about his "Stigma". Interesting... I think we should always keep in mind that he is not the only one who wrote the lyrics when we're doing our theories. Also there is something that caught my attention for a long time. He talked about not crossing the borders around the members several times. It's like something happened and it seems like a big lesson for him. Maybe this is the answer we're looking for about the relationship between him and J-Hope, which is so bad for almost two years and is finally starting to recover?
