Which male idols do you think are gay?

Not Idol related, but I thought seeing some positive same-sex news in Asia is welcome.

Japan's Aichi Pref. to recognize same-sex, common-law couples with children as families

Japan's Aichi Pref. to recognize same-sex, common-law couples with children as families

NAGOYA -- Aichi Prefecture will introduce a "family-ship" system in which sexual minority couples and common-law married couples and their children will be officially recognized as a family.

Aichi Gov. Hideaki Omura announced the plan on Aug. 17. The prefecture is aiming to implement the new system in April 2024. It will be Japan's first prefecture-level partnership system that extends to cover children, according to the Aichi Prefectural Government.

A family-ship system allows couples who can't legally be married and their children to take an oath to continuously live together as a family, and a local government issues a certificate for their relationship. While it holds no legal binding power, with the certificate the family is able to move into public housing and give consent to surgery at municipal hospitals, among other incentives.

Of the 54 municipal governments in Aichi Prefecture, the capital city Nagoya, Toyota and 11 other municipalities had the family-ship system in place as of Aug. 1. After the prefectural government implements its own scheme, those who live outside the 13 municipalities will be eligible to benefit from the system.

Also, as of Aug. 1, 13 prefectures in Japan including Tokyo had introduced "partnership systems" where same-sex couples were recognized as being equivalent to legally married couples.

On his decision to include couples in common-law marriages and not just sexual minority people in the new system, Omura told a news conference on Aug. 17, "When the system is exclusively for sexual minorities, having the certificate could lead to outing." He explained that the prefecture opted for the family-ship system to include the couple's children because "we're seeing an increasing number of couples wishing to raise their children together."

That prefecture has over 7.5 million people, so even if you took a conservative estimate to how many people living there were same-sex couples, that's still a lot of people this can affect.

This is great news, but I did laugh out loud when I opened the spoiler & saw Gov. Omura's profile pic juxtaposed with the content of the article. He's like "Hell yeah I'm gonna recognize same-sex couples babes 😏"

Yohan looks like his life flashed before his eyes when Dongpyo let that slip lol.

Here's the youtube short clip. Apparently it's from the reboot of Strong Heart (I also didn't know Strong Heart got rebooted)

beomgyu and taehyun don't ping me but this is funny

this is the origin of the meme if you want to know, op was dancing to Heize VingleVingle and used a bunch of hashtags to find gays on twitter, he did it for weeks before this tweet went viral on korean twt, not just k-gay twt. it has become a really popular meme on korean twt that if you search 빙글빙글 on twitter it's just filled with kpop stans making jokes about it with their faves. i don't think they are necessarily on k-gay twt but they're definitely chronically online and follow bunch of korean kpop stan accounts seeing how fast they referenced it when the meme was just birthed on early august and that vid uploaded on 15th August lol.

A couple months ago I made a list of what I think certain idols from the groups I stan sexualities are. On that post I said that I thought Joshua was straight and I got a lot of criticism for that as it seems the consensus at the time was that Joshua was gay.

Now that this whole dating "scandal" with him has occurred I wonder what the consensus is now. Do you guys think hes bisexual, or that hes gay and that his *alleged* gf is a beard? Or do you think the whole scandal all together is fake.

I've allways thought he was straight but I could see him being bisexual as well. Overall im just curious to see what some of your guys opinions are and how/if they've changed or not.

A lot of the "evidence" that flooded twitter is either false, not completely what it seemed like or weird. What remains is some pieces of similar clothing (though some of them are probably just sponsored by the brand) and her going to seventeen's concert (but sitting in the normal lottery system seating area and not in the family, friends + influencers section).

From my side there are certainly some doubts, especially considering the fact that they have supposedly been in relationship for three years and there are still no pictures of them together, not even very shitty, blurry ones. Also not sure if that means anything anymore nowadays but also no active fansites have closed down and instead have continued posting as normal.

Certainly there's some relation there if she went to a concert but that could mean anything - a romantic relationship, just friends or that she's a fan with connections to the industry.

It's my first time posting on here but to me irregardless of whether they're dating or not, Joshua still pings me as queer. Can't say whether he's bisexual or gay but definitely not completely straight.
