Can I ask a question? You don't have to answer if you don't want to, but do you listen to rap music outside of K-pop? If so, please listen more to some of future/drake/lil Wayne/Kanye and even common have said the same as yoongi. If not, than maybe use the rappers I mentioned as a starting ground to understand the slang that is being used in their music. 

In the end we can always disagree on this matter, but I wouldn't put to much weight on lyrics like that.

It's ok, let's agree to dissagree. I think the artist has some power on the songs they chooses and it is obvious that Suran chose this song consciously. We know that many Korean couples have exposed themselves through these Lovestagrams before. I think Yoongi ended the relationship sometime after Suran started doing these things. That's why Suran's posts have switched from secret love messages to bitter ex mode.

What do y'all feel about Jungwoo from NCT? Some were pretty convinced he was either gay/bisexual (from what I've seen in this thread in the past), and some just think he's a straight guy who likes attention(?). He definitely is an interesting case, but his playful public persona doesn't seem to give too much away about his personal life etc. Definitely more to the guy than it seems though, I gotta say!

On the topic of SKZ, I tried to follow their activities relatively closely in their early days (pre-debut -- before their show -- up until the conclusion of their first trilogy; had no time after that, but I still listen to them, try to watch variety, went to their concert etc). I think it's obvious that there was and is heavily pushing of pairs, even images with them. Like the examples already said, I wouldn't mind too much on MinSung, for me it always came off as publicity and the usual skinship activities

The one thing I agree with would Hyunjin being suspicious at times, but mostly I think I and others interpret too much into it. I think emotions on him show pretty damn easy. If he's flustered, he is flustered and it shows, and so on. Alas, he's definetly smitten and maybe even shy with people he admires (GOT7 Jinyoung being the prime example -- there's also been instances of him being ... hm, squirming(? is that a word?) if you watch him at his MC Job at Music Core during the Interviews. Esp with older seniors, in my opinion )

Another interesting aspect to keep in mind. W1/AB6IX Daehwi trained some time with the older SKZ Trainees (iirc Chan, Seungmin, Hyunjin) before he left JYPE. To my knowledge, Hyunjin and Daehwi went to the same class in school and there have been severeal instances that make it seem like they're still good friends. (If you want to google, ISAC, Music Bank Berlin incl. Somi, meeting up at Music Shows, not sure if there was behind the scenes material of them doing the Red Velvet Special Stage).

The flirty persona he has seems exaggerated from a nonfans POV, but I see why fans are whipped for his cuteness. I don't know much about him or the receipts he may have in this thread, but I would assume he's more of the straight guy who likes to banter and have fun with everyone and is comfortable with his sexuality to do it. Plus he seems smart and gives fans what they want. If a nctzen could respond and provide their speculation that would be interesting.

Groups like NCT or whatnot have ex-girlfriends, victims of bullying etc coming through with pictures and stories and you're gonna make me believe none of BTS' alleged ex-girlfriends would have done the same thing between 2013 and 2015? Park Sewon said she was Jungkook's girlfriend in 2013 with two pics of them goofing together as prooves and that's it. The only pre-debut pics of members with girls around if I'm not mistaken.

They weren't always untouchable and had the reputation of being squeaky clean for a reason (despite a witch hunt on their ass, still no dirt to be found because they knew it would never be forgiven coming from them, from a small company that the big ones were trying to sink).

First-of-all, the "love letter" was for his 2nd year of middle school "girlfriend" (you know when he was 12) and he was basically apologizing for ignoring her and making things awkward by merely acting like a friend? Himself questioned if it could even be called "love" but that he was regretful of treating her that way (and that's the only example of an ex-girlfriend he came up with at 20). 

Suran and Jiyeong both used Yoongi's name and and denied when fans genuinely started to think they had a thing with Yoongi. If you think Yoongi dated Suran then you think he dated Jiyeong there's no in-between except heteronormativity. There's actually more substance to believe in Yijeong: Yoongi bought him expensive equipments and got him to be a producer at BigHit who exclusively produces for/with Yoongi while Suran posted shit like S love S or the word Suga (one-sided "hints").

Honestly even in general in Kpop, it's often just PR relationships that actually make fans believe lovestagram is even a thing, when it's basically "hinting at our relationship without actually being together ever, except that one time Dispatch caught us oops" like please how more PR can it get?

I think Suga's rumors about Zhoumi, J-Pearl, Suran, and ex-girlfriends are all significant. This further strengthens my belief that he is bi. If you really thought Suga were bi, you wouldn't just find his relationships with men suspicious and try to sweep his relationships with women under the carpet. Also, Lovestagram is very popular not only in Korea but also in Japan. I don't remember how many celebrities' relationships were exposed in this way, like Arashi's Nino before he's married his girlfriend. Or Ohno's relationship. And I can say that womens tend to do shit more lol

i know why people think that he’s gay and all, and i’m aware of the fact that he’s said sth like “i like men” and that did it for people to believe that he’s gay but people need to understand that korean ≠ english. the cultural and linguistic differences are huge. people act like he actually came out when in fact.. he didn’t. coming out in one of the most conservative and homophobic countries in the world is not really safe. it could literally ruin his life and career. sad facts.
