i used to be sure yoongi was bisexual, or possibly even gay, and was 100% self aware of it and of how he came across, he just couldnt openly state it, but after that "my heart doesnt flutter for men" comment it confused me and made me reconsider. I also vaguely remember in a chinese radio interview bts did around 2014 yoongi pretty clearly seemed to be flirting with one of the female hosts. he's definitely confusing, because at the same time i can't fathom how he wouldnt be aware of what the lyrics "whether a guy or girl, i make them come/send them to hong kong with my tongue" and the "flowjob" lyrics imply.

Honestly in hip hop many rappers use lyrics like yoongi did. This does not mean that I think he is straight, I definitely think he is either bi or pan. But the guy loves hip hop and he grew up listening to rappers saying "men can suck their dicks" it's more ment to be offensive rather than a confession that they are into men as well. For me it is his behaviour and vibe that tells me he isn't straight at all.

A lot of these things other members have said similar or exact things. It’s just teasing. Also the ideal men type sounds more like he was listing men he wishes he could look like, something men and women both commonly do. Not really related to sexuality.

i honestly don’t get this explanation though? the lyric was extremely sexually explicit, not an insult like “go suck my dick”, it was “I’m so good at head you’ll see stars” and explicitly directed toward men and women. i get that he was trying to boast about rap but tell me right now what straight man would ever even think to boast about his rap by giving men orgasms? most straight men wouldn’t even think of it conceptually in the first place, plus if he wanted to boast about his oral skills and his rap skills then why on earth did he need to go out of his way to specify that its toward men and women, why not just say “ladies my rap is so good it’ll make you come”, thats what 99% of rappers would do. the lyric just doesn’t make sense to me coming from a man who isn’t at least somewhat into men

From my understanding it is meant to say "I am so good in rap you will come from it" rather than focusing on genders he is focusing on well, everything. At least that's how I understood lyrics.

You would think so, but even the roots have questionable lyrics that can imply to bisexuality. It's just the way hip-hop has been for years. It's indeed about saying they are that good and can make everyone come, just by hearing their words. It's an euphemism used in many songs.

Nah, from what I know about them most are straight. Only when it comes to Mr puff daddy, everyone agrees that he is bi. But it's the way they word their raps, it's all about saying theare better then those around and that they don't give a shit. It's a slang language same as yoongi used for the Hong Kong lyrics. It doesn't mean I couldn't be wrong, but from what I know about the rap music scene, it's really just another way of boasting.

Yeah when it comes to Yoongi idk whether his lyrics should be ignored but I always interpreted it as a piece of gay bravado and not a confession of bisexuality. You know that meme that's like "ooh you wanna kiss me so bad"? That's how I see his innuendos (at least as part of his Agust D persona)

I'm undecided on him but he IS the member who responded that "everyone is equal" to a question of whether they supported the lgbt community and wore those gay little shoes to the pop-up shop a while ago... I also do remember seeing a video from a 2018 fansign where he seems really shy around a fanboy getting autographs but that could have been an isolated incident idk

I mean, you can hardly compare these lines to Yoongi's line. These are either about something completely different, but could sound gay out of context, or they're simply threatening. They're more "suck my dick" in a demeaning way, and not "my rap game is so good I can make anyone come, man or woman". Yoongi's is the latter,  and while it doesn't imply sexual attraction towards men, it does imply he's okay with men thinking about him in that way. Most rappers' bro-job referencing are homophobic, and this isn't that. I'm not saying this lyric means Yoongi likes men, I'm just saying it's not really a fair comparison.

I kinda hate how armys have been trying to find anything that could prove that Yoongi and Suran are dating they used to be so close, dating or not they had a pretty healthy relationship, but the moment armys started to harass her because of that Instagram post they started to drift away from each other. But we can clearly see that it is over. We all know that he also wrote " Let Me Know " for his ex-girlfriend. He must have felt the emotion that affected him enough to write a song. So it shouldn't be difficult to admit that he had relationships with womans too.

Yeah they might not be the perfect example, but I wanted show that hip-hop isn't about being exactly clear about your intentions. It's about word play and using slang to convey your thoughts. I still think his Hong Kong lyrics isn't a recipe, just another rap verse.

I mean, I personally don't see it. It seems like any other rumor about idols that were in the same room once so they must be dating you can find online. They posted similar things, they wore similar clothes, they like the same movie or song. To me it's not proof of anything. 

As for him having had girlfriends in the past, I know he has spoken about it, and there's even that letter about his ex-girlfriend. Just because he has dated women in the past doesn't mean he also dated Suran. Would you say he dated also Jang Yijeong just because there were rumors about them? Saying "we all know that he also wrote 'Let me Know' for his ex-girlfriend" isn't that fair of a statement, it's more of a theory fans have. Fans also speculate that the friend in "Dear My Friend" is about more than just a platonic bro.

She didn't write 'O.V.E.R' so I don't think we can conclude she wanted to tease us by almost saying his name.

The credits list Kim Jisoo and Y.nik as songwriters (and composers). Suran's legal name is Shin Suran, or 신수란.

I don't think he's gay, I think it's pretty clear he is interested in women, I just don't think he dated Suran.

Sorry, i don’t know if some of you believe Suga x Suran dating because of lovestagram. Ok it’s your opinion. But to me this is totally a bullshit.

From what I have seen of his personality, I think he is really hate this lovestagram thing. All of those so call evidences are from Suran one side and seem like she was deliberately do it to get attention.

Yeah they might not be the perfect example, but I wanted show that hip-hop isn't about being exactly clear about your intentions. It's about word play and using slang to convey your thoughts. I still think his Hong Kong lyrics isn't a recipe, just another rap verse. 

This is is more receipt for me. The open mind mentality shows he might want to explore other parts of himself. 

 

"my rap game is so good I can make anyone come, man or woman". Yoongi's is the latter,  and while it doesn't imply sexual attraction towards men

 

sorry to keep going on about this, im just amazed people dont find it convincing cause for me its the one thing thats always been the most convincing of yoongi not being straight. doesnt this definitely imply he does have sexual attraction towards men though? like what straight man would ever want other men to have an orgasm because of him?
