Well, Seonghwa mentioned he had crushes on seniors, and went to only boys schools. Mingi imo is not straight. It's easy to overlook him, but i think he's bi. He's talked about handsome men way too many times lol even about his crush on nam joohyuk. I'm curious to know if you saw any indirectly "proofs" of them being on the lgbtq+ spectrum. Alas, I think both of you are right. It's a mix of both, with the MCs trying to make fun of their friends/colleagues while creating content for the show, but the show itself is also providing fan service in a way - not in a traditional sense where a ship is encouraged to do obvious "romantic" interactions like a kiss on stage, but through little intimate actions among members whom are rarely shipped together (e.g. how Jeno sat on Taeil's lap as per Renjun's instruction). Have to say SM is creative and experimental with group interactions while providing fan service, and I enjoy this as a fan. Also sorry folks for off topic non-lgbtq+ related video and discussion. There are tons of agendas out there. And you only have to go out onto social media like Twitter to see how different K-pop fandoms/antis are using all manner of skullduggery to get one over on each other and boost their favs. BTS and BlackPink alone have their Spotify/YouTube download numbers grossly distorted by mega-looped multistreaming from competing fandoms. Everything is a competition in K-pop fandoms. Some of the bitchy ways fans of one group try to diss others are extremes that I don't see in other music genres. So yeah gay gossip within should always be taken with the same pinch of salt as any other gossip because of anti tactics. It's like Chen announcing his baby/marriage. It caught a lot of people off guard who probably thought that they had him all worked out. Companies do manage to keep a lid on a great deal in k-pop, and that will also include who is LGBT. I'm also hardwired to take notice of gay goss, but not necessarily believe it. Where there's lack of info on idols' personal lives people tend to fill the void with drama and rumour.
