Bushi 4,298
Not @Hobi and Jin seeing huge bananas and first thing they do is calling for Jimin I'm DONE Honestly, they're so rude, I love them. The range of emotions Hobi's face goes through is hilarious. If BTS ever goes on hiatus he should sign up for musical theatre, he's a born lead man. Banana savant Jungkook's hand though.
littlebee 203
Hey gays, I've come to impart a theory upon you all that EXO's Chanyeol is in a relationship with Japanese-American actor Arata Mackenyu. Some background information: Mackenyu is 22 (Chanyeol is 26), he's a rising actor in Japan, and he also has gay rumours. Gonna put everything under the spoiler because it's kinda long: It's been long joked about in the EXO fandom that Chanyeol has a secret Japanese girlfriend, which is why he goes to Japan so frequently. But tbh it's looking a lot more likely that he actually has a secret Japanese boyfriend. First let's start off with a timeline of the both of them (dates in dd/mm/yy format): 04/09/18 – Chanyeol in Japan till an unknown date, but left before 14/09/18. 07/09/18 – Chanyeol follows Mackenyu on Instagram, Mackenyu follows him back on the same day. 22/09/18 – The first time Mackenyu likes one of Chanyeol’s first Instagram posts. 26/09/18 – Chanyeol returns to Korea from Japan. Spent Chuseok in Japan but don’t know exactly when he left Korea (was most likely only there for about 3 days though). Was with Choi Taejoon (actor, friend). Couldn’t find any flight details for October and November (preparation for comeback in October then comeback in November. He had group schedules in Japan, so I’m not ruling out that he could have seen Mackenyu there. Also not ruling out that he could have evaded fans at the airport which is why there’s no info). 22/12/18 – In Japan till an unknown date (I’m guessing he went back to Korea around the 29th). Not sure about the exact date that he went as there are no fansite pictures but I think it was around this time. Bearing in mind that Christmas Eve in Japan is kind of their version of Valentine’s Day, and couples often go out to celebrate. Chanyeol and Kasper (choreographer, Chanyeol’s gym buddy and friend) in Japan from 01/01/19 to 06/01/19 – Kasper and Mackenyu post selfie together on 05/01/19, Chanyeol and Mackenyu post selfie together on 06/01/19. Can’t find the exact dates he left and came back but on 15/01/19, Chanyeol was seen in Japan with Mackenyu. Chanyeol and Kyungsoo in Japan from 15/02/19 to 21/02/19 – selfie with Mackenyu posted on 20/02/19. Chanyeol in Japan from 24/03/19 to 29/03/19. Passersby said they saw him with Mackenyu. Chanyeol travels with Kyungsoo to Japan on 14/04/19. CBX have tour dates in Japan on 16/04/19 and 17/04/19. To my knowledge, Chanyeol does not go to either of the concert dates, but Kyungsoo does (I don’t know if Kyungsoo went to just one date or both of them). On 17/04/19 after the concert, CBX and Kyungsoo fly back to Seoul together while Chanyeol stays in Japan. Chanyeol comes back to Korea on 19/04/19. While he was there, he went to see Haruma Miura in the “Kinky Boots†production (Haruma is one of Mackenyu’s close friends). Next here's all the receipts of them I could find: In January 2019 they post this selfie (and Mackenyu introduces some of his friends to Chanyeol): Click here to view the Tweet Also in January they interact via Chanyeol's Instagram Live - Chanyeol says "good morning" in Japanese to Mackenyu: Click here to view the Tweet On the 16th of January they post pictures from being in Japan together In February Mackenyu posts a picture of him and Chanyeol together on his fancafe (which can't be posted due to Japanese fancafe rules): Click here to view the Tweet Also in February - Mackenyu posted a video of a box of chocolates on Valentine’s Day with “Love Shot†playing in the background (my delulu brain says it's because Chanyeol gave him the box of chocolates) Just gonna dump a load of stuff from Mackenyu's fanmeetings: Click here to view the Tweet Click here to view the Tweet Click here to view the Tweet Click here to view the Tweet Mackenyu also said that him and Chanyeol call each other every day and try to video call occasionally. There's also a tweet that said "OP asked Mackenyu if he likes Chanyeol, he answered "I like him very much~" while smiling so bright OP felt soft and pleasant hearing it from him. " but the account who posted the translation got suspended so I can't embed it. There's also this tweet in Japanese that I can't find a translation for so the rough translation is: "Fan: Please get along really well with Chanyeol! / Mackenyu: But this [our relationship] cannot get any better, our relationship is pretty good!" Moving on to a bit later in February, both Mackenyu and Chanyeol posted these pictures on Instagram: Mackenyu originally captioned these pictures with "date with angel Chanyeol-hyung" but the caption was later changed due to fans being messy. On the 1st of March, they both wear the same hoodie on the same day. A few days later, Mackenyu posts a video of him listening to EXO's Kokobop in the gym on his Instagram story. Near the end of the month, Chanyeol went to Japan to see Mackenyu: Click here to view the Tweet Click here to view the Tweet April 2019 - 3rd time him and Kyungsoo go to Japan together just in 2019. CBX’s Japanese concert happened while they were there (as mentioned in the timeline) but only Kyungsoo went, so what was Chanyeol doing in Japan? Chanyeol and Haruma Miura also followed each other on Instagram - Haruma is one of Mackenyu’s friends. Haruma is also an actor in the Japanese Kinky Boots production. Also worth mentioning is that during this trip, Kyungsoo and CBX flew back to Korea while Chanyeol stayed in Japan. Also from this trip: (Also worth noting that the picture of Kyungsoo and Chefsuke together was posted while Kyungsoo and Chanyeol were in Japan) Also something else I picked up on: I believe that Chanyeol may be introducing some of the EXO members to Mackenyu. Chanyeol and Kyungsoo have gone to Japan multiple times just in 2019, and in a interview in February or March this year Chanyeol said to Baekhyun "when we go to Japan you have to meet my friend". Idk it seems pretty likely that they're dating tbh (or are at least sus) Thanks to everyone on Discord for putting up with my crazy ass and helping me put everything together <3 Also thanks to Google Docs because god knows that if it didn't exist I would honestly look like this this is really sus. I’m actually one of those people who believes that Chanyeol wasn’t straight but, I had no proof to go along. If they are together I hope they’re happy.

Josaline 10,589
We've talked about Shirota Yu before right? A new era has started in Japan. But before that, interesting things happened. They said If you’re born before 1989, Showa era, but didn't get married until Reiwa era (new era started 1 May) are called "Heisei Jump". So apparently, lots of people are trying to get married in this April solely to avoid becoming "Heisei Jump" So Shirota Yu said jokingly to @ him something about yourself if you want to marry him and Shison Jun answered " I will anything ", so Shirota picked him and they are planning kids lol Edited May 1, 2019 by Josaline
cjbenny 896
Hey guys, I got another update from Solidarity for LGBT Human Rights of Korea, the group/organization that runs the Rainbow Teen Safe Space, a program aimed to providing shelter and counseling to LGBTQ youths in South Korea. It sounds like they have been struggling a bit with a increased volume of counseling requests since March is back to school season in Korea. As usual, if you have the means to spare please do so, this is such an important resource for LGBTQ+ youth. DDing Dong (Rainbow Teen Safe Space) 20th letterBy Edhi Park - coordinator Hello, this is DDing Dong. Finally, spring has arrived in Korea. We are sending you newsletter with our appreciation.Last December and January, we got a steady stream of counseling requests from transgender teens. We consulted with teens who had psychological difficulties caused by dysphoria and coming out, as well as those who have not received proper information or medical treatment as teenagers, and those who are having difficulties in gender rectification due to their age.In February, we had three damage consultations related to being 'outed'. We in DDing Dong have been dealing with this issue constantly, and have actively counseled victimised LGBTQ+ youth to ensure their safety. In March, as it is back-to-school season in Korea, there were more counseling requests for concerning bullying in school than other LGBTQ+ relate dissues. However, the number of crisis calls for support has increased, and the issues concerning the provision of support are often complicated. We have sought to support teenager sin crisis because of housing in stability mainly due to family violence and neglect. We are glad to deliver you some good news, too. First, the new office now has more space for teenagers to relax, so there has been a big increase in the number of pre- and post- visiting to the counseling center. In last 3 months, total of 78 LGBTQ+ teenagers visited the center.Second, DDingdong had advertised for DDingga DDingga. DDingga Ddingga is the name of the group for volunteers who share the values of Ddingdong . Thankfully, lots of people applied this time, and a total of 15 people joined as members of the 5th Ddingga Ddingga.Regarding the challenge of volunteer straining, we studied and discussed the understanding of the various gender identities / sexual orientations / gender discrimination, education for the prevention of sexual violence / sexual discrimination / sexualabuse, addressing the legitimate concerns for the human rights for youth, and understanding HIV/AIDS.Recently, we opened for DDing dong pocha as the first Ddingga Ddingga action. We are planning to meet more LGBTQ+ youth through not only pop- up restaurant but also DDingdong restaurant, Rainbow navigation etc.#DdingdongPocha is the program which runs on the first Saturday of every month where we directly go out to the streets and meet LGBTQ+ youth. We usually talk and eat together, and if necessary, we provide the items they need or counseling support.#Rainbow Navigation is a support program for LGBTQ+ teenagers who want to be self reliant. We support them on their paths to be independent. In 2019, we are planning to have programs which can help free transgender youth from the gender binary, find their own true identities, enable their freedom of expression, and maintain a proper life cycle for themselves. We will consistently carry out these programs to ensure their desired gender representation and help them to have a place in their community, with respect and support.)With globalGiving funding and warm-hearted sponsors, DDingDong is able to do various activities and programs. We really appreciate your support and ask for your continued interest and love.

Bushi 4,298
Just harking back to Troye's Seoul concert, that crowd was whoa. Spoilering bcs it's a bit breathy. Re: Troye. To have that many, mostly young Koreans (and Ten! <3) turning up to enjoy the music of an out, gay man who openly sings about his experiences, it does give some hope for how open minded their future might be I think. I know you can't judge an entire country or its direction on the strength of one action but I did think it was an amazing moment. One that's gone quietly under the radar, overshadowed by SK's focus, understandably so, on its own groups. But for LGBTQ it's interesting. Even well-attended concerts suggest that many younger (probably city-dwelling) South Koreans, which at some stage are going to shape their country's future, are not going to be a carbon copy of the current generation that sets laws. That one being super Conservative and so far unwilling to do anything but watch the money and accolades roll in from the success of BTS, Twice and BP, etc. Whilst delivering virtually zip on equal rights for LGBTQ (as well as lagging on women's equality and transparency in the seedy underbelly of the entertainment industry). So yeah, interesting times. And please, don't get me wrong. My own country has been no saint and most western countries could still do far more to improve the same rights, even with the better legal protections LGBTQ have. But somehow music's always key to change. Music, more awareness and young people coming together to just talk. That's how things started to change here, so I hope that more openly LGBTQ artists touring in Asia will help to change minds and show that people are just people. Seeing Troye, Halsey, Years And Years, etc, tour around SK and other Asian countries to some huge audiences is a positive step imo. Imagine if Ariana brought her Pride flags and light show to SK? Edit: Also found this from BBMAs, it's not K-pop related but as 'conversion therapy' is forcibly carried out globally (we know it happens in SK), I thought it was a nice touch that Imagine Dragons brought attention to it. If I recall rightly Hobi likes these guys? Click here to view the Tweet Edited May 2, 2019 by Bushi
