Which male idols do you think are gay?

Recommended Posts

He's like Ren from Nu'est or Kino from Pentagon to me, I just can't imagine him with a girl

True so that's why it led me to think maybe if the idol is really gay they won't participate in fanservice. Like Sungjong looks 0% interested in rest of the members

like i kinda said above: could it be some type of weird strategy? like they are denying things that fans know they do it often to make us thinking outside the box while at same time they are try to protect themselves from the ones that dont know them and also they are trying to please the fans who dont think they maybe could be gay

i dont know, i just find it weird those actions. no one is implying they are a couple on those questions and they (mostly donghae) out of suddenly just freak out

Who knows? It could be intentional, or maybe they're just dumb and dumber, as they always say. *shrug*

I genuinely think there are more flamboyant idols who give zero fucks and just enjoy the skinship because they like being around guys and are naturally flirty. Like Jackson, Jungwoo and Ten.

Then you have those that are variously uptight about skinship and seem averse to contact and everyone is like nah, he hates guys he don't wanna be touched. But that can be so misleading as there can be many reasons for such behaviour. Not every queer guy is a touchy-feely type. He may have a boyfriend so doesn't want to seem/look disloyal. He may think that skinship reveals too much of himself or he may hate being used for skinship.

Then there are those who blow hot and cold, like I. M. who has lots of panic moments but also several skinship and cuddly/loving moments he initiates with someone he likes/trusts, like Shownu smile.png.

They're all individuals who handle it in their own way.

PS: Did anyone notice Taehyung was wearing a bigass safety pin on the album photoshoot with Yoongi.

Aaah I don't know any of the idols you mentioned! I guess I only know about the older idols.

What I think is, gay idols won't just do skinship cause they like it, cause won't it make things awkward between the members. I mean I can't imagine myself doing skinship with my friends just because I like girls. In fact I am always conscious about that :3

Although for Sungjong it could be that he is not interested in guys and maybe he is not cis.

BTS Safety Pin spamfest pt 1.

Now, I know this is a contentious issue for many who believe it has no relevance to anything and is just a trendy fashion statement. But it also seems to have some traction in South Korea as an anti-bullying, pro-minority symbol. Make your own minds up.

Also, I could find no pictures of Jin or Namjoon wearing safety pins. Actually, there was one safety pin on a stage outfit cravat for Jin, but it seemed like part of an elaborate costume. Unlike Taehyung's earring (see below) which may have been something he chose. I've tried to find images where the safety pin is used in their free time/own clothing, or as near to that as I could get.

Could easily be a beard. Tbh I dont believe it at all because everything he's done points to him being gay.

Also, here's some Jackson being gay to brighten all of your days:

And this is just lighthearted, of course:

Omg not him going down on the guy

Jackson is the gay legend the world needs.

Every gay/bi person is different, so there's really no way to say, "A real gay idol would do X." Some gay/bi people are cautious, some are really outgoing, and some are in-between.

I know but being outgoing and putting on fanservice like say kissing your members etc is different if they are not dating right? I am sure they are outgoing when they are not with their colleagues where one misstep might spell end of the group

I was just talking about how the user said, some gay idols might do skinship cause they love it... Which, doesn't seem right to do with someone you are working with unless you are actually dating them ofc

I thought he was gay

https://twitter.com/balloon_wanted/status/1120160131960856576?s=21

(Let’s hope it’ll post this time, what’s up with OH recently?)

Well if the expressions on their pictures are anything to go by they're off to a flyer! unsure.png  The Twitter comments seem to be mostly gushing fangirls who think he's found his Ms Right.

Have their agencies confirmed this or is it from a credible source?

I understand what you mean, but the relationship between music group members can't really be compared to co-workers at an office or something. Members have often known each other since they were young if they trained together, and then lived together, practiced together, traveled together, performed together, etc. You can't really keep the relationship strictly professional even if you wanted to. And when there's a culture of expected fanservice, as there is in kpop, some outgoing gay/bi people are going to use that as an excuse to flirt. It doesn't necessarily mean they're intending to date their members or cross lines that would actually out themselves.

Hoseok and Jimin have a interesting relationship.

" J-Hope...... I say J-Hope's name so many times, even in my sleep. I woke up muttering "Ah...J-hope", ... I'm not kidding "

No offence but it's probably just because they share a room (or did for a long time).

It's from Love Yourself in Seoul dvd. They did sort of reaction video to compilation of moments from their previous concerts and LY concert and one of moments was their group hug and after it was ended someone (I thought it was Tae tho lol, I guess I was wrong) said about kissing each other on next concerts.

Sorry but, it's really just the popular fashion accessory. "I am safe" meaning came after some of those pictures, and, that meaning doesn't exist in Asia anyway. Seriously nobody knows it.

Unpopular opinion

but I think Taehyun is bisexual or pansexual.

There isn't just gay or heterosexual.

Since he's dating that girl, I see it as he probably likes girls but also likes men too

Could be...i just think sometimes LGBT folk just know when someone is friend of Dorothy and as the G in LGBT i think he is, plus you gotta remember that he's living in SK. How many out celebs are there? I can only think of one, and that's Hong Suk Chun.

I still can't get over a country as big as SK and yet only one out gay entertainer. It just baffles my mind. Even with the Conservative mindsets or whatever that Is still ridiculous.

We are speaking about a country that literally hunt down gay guys in military. That, combined with a toxic entertainment industry and fans culture, makes coming out have a high possibility of being a career ending decision, even life threatening. Even Hong Suk Chun family still get harassed with harsh words until today, and it has been 19 years since he came out.

When I first get into KPOP I was wow with all the open skinship , but the more I learn the more I realise Korea is probably one of the most backward country for LGBT.

I know they're backward too but it's like seeing the reply pointing out that HSC being the only out gay celebrity really put it in perspective for me again.

Its sad bc SK is so progressive when it comes to technology and science but have very outdated views on social issues. Usually its third world countries that are this backward smh makes me annoyed.
