I wouldnt be surprised. KYU line has very interesting dynamics. Also Kyuhyun and Siwon had some intimate moments at one point. I dont see Siwon 'indulging' himself, but who knows. He has friends rumored to be gay/bi, he grew up in DBSK dorm since 14 years old, he lived 'in the middle' of Yunho and Jaejoong. Just by saying all this is more than many idols from his generation did. It is true that in the last years he became more open, but to say he was no home is a little to much. They were/are close but not in that way. After DBSK split SM tried to promote homin as a couple, but sadly they were no yunjae. Mandatory enlistment came and it seems after sooo many years fans became more accepting of 'old married couple' homin. But that doesnt mean Changmin accepted it. Recently he explained it is all business (good to know that SM still has a PR department) Yunho's recent rumors are like this: sept/oct was with women ( 1-2 idols from sm and 1 staff), also he has a long term relationship with one of his close male friends, about 5 years ( 1 actor, 1-2 non celebrity), also there are yunjae rumors..... so take a pick, based on which side of the fandom you are. The man is busy. These are just fan rumors, aside from media rumors ( his last was in the army) I would like to hear some of Jaejoong recent rumors, but the men seems so quite that is deafening. He didn't like fanservice, didn't like Jaejoong clinging onto him, and he wanted to be his own man and not the group baby, but he's never done or said anything that indicated he wasn't supportive of those around him. I've already gone through this and not doing it again, but I've followed him for years and if he gave any indication that he was truly bothered by anything LGBT, I've never seen it. It's a bit annoying that this keeps coming up. But then again the attitudes are shifting so maybe we live in a completely different world regarding lgbt in five years. Plus ofc the fact that more younger idols will go to army and once they get discharged they probably feel more like they can come out if they want to. I think Heechul was pretty close to coming out after army, but I don't think he will come out unless something changes. I mean it seems like he wants to come out so maybe some day. I think whoever is the first one to come out is probably someone idol that is not that popular, from the popular ones I have no idea who it could be. Maybe Tony and Jaeduc since everyone basically knows, but Tony is pretty closeted so idk. I sadly think the same. Not to be on the negative side but the stake is to high to be taken lightly. Idols have to complete military service, but when they come back, if they still want a career, have to compete with younger idols and maintain a position and fanbase. So before army is a discussion, but after army is another discussion. Heechul was the closest in my opinion. Jaejoong had a period when I thought he will come out or somebody will out him or will have a big sexual scandal, but finished. Now i dont see him making any move. He is so tame this days that people think he is straight. The most he's done post army are some light flirts with mc's. Although he is blunt, i think people expect to much from him. They forget he is insecure, values his career a lot, likes his celebrity life/status, also had a number of scandals (and seems he learned from them), SM breathes in his neck and is banned in the industries. Yuchun scandal affected him too (assault&marriage). As long as he still wants to have fans he will not came out..... just my opinion. Yunho is not even a discussion. Maybe Changmin could say something on his behalf Surely at some point someone will eventually come out. Maybe if it will be an actor will be easier. HSC was actor, wasnt he? Maybe even a foreign member (since they don't have to worry about military service). Compared to an idol group, bands don't seem to be focused on fueling that fantasy (please correct me if I'm wrong). Would their careers be more likely to stay stable even after coming out than compared to an idol group that quite heavily relies on fangirls' fantasies? Hope I am being clear. With all that said, I still highly doubt anything is actually going to get outed. Especially since the rumors seem to be pointing to a major group which limits the options a lot and those companies would basically pay a shitton to keep that information from going public. Dispatch fallowing celebrities around is not surprising, the actual article about them is surprising. Also Taemin manager thoughts and subtle implying gives one to think. That's much more than any hereto couple will ever get ... Not saying they are together, but something definitely happened there(PR, testing waters, real couple....) whatever that is... and after that kai got kristal.... sm doesnt do thinks half way. I actually don't really know the members too well to judge, sorry. I only follow Day6, and I'm new to The Rose. But if anyone else as opinions, please share. No need to be sorry. The last thing we got from them was in January 2017 where they went to LA together with a few of their friends. The optimist part of me says they're still together and are just laying low, especially as Suho has a Twitter account (or some form of social media) where he sees what's going on in the EXO fandom. He's very aware of his image and of EXO's image as a whole. Like how he used to chaperone Taohun and how he gets uncomfortable with Kaisoo. Idk if Koreans see anything suspicious with their relationship but it wouldn't surprise me if now they're acting like they don't know each other. And then the pessimist side of me says they've broken up, maybe due to schedules or something else. Which is sad because they've known each other for many years. Thx for the answer. I know their story, though i dont know Suho's personality, but him being the leader bears a greater responsibility so probably is more careful. I want to think a lot of good things happens behind close doors and idols are just cautious and aware of their fans likes/dislikes. It makes me wonder if it's such a common thing with LGBT idols, too. If I recall, there was a girl group member who said it was easier to date actors than fellow idols. For idols, i think is always easier to date actors, dancers, staff etc than fellow idols. Usually actors dont have many crazy fangirls or sasaengs fallowing them 24/7 and have a little more privacy. I doubt they will ever get paired up for a PR relationship, it hasn't happened yet so i doubt it will in the future. It's been years and they've both said they are just bffs, I don't see what else they could do? They are grown up people, it's not like they are gonna let fans control their lives and stop hanging out in public because of them. I personally love them both and their friendship is cute, I'm happy they have each other. Obviously the gay rumors aren't loud enough for SM to bother cover them up with a hetero dating scandal, even people that have been fans for years think of Yunho as totally straight, so i guess it depends what part of the fandom you are from. I was hoping Yunho would chill after the army but he's still trying to act as the perfect man in every situation (tho not as excessively as before) and it's sad for me to watch?? At this point idk if it's SM telling him to keep acting like that or if it's his own choice or if after all those years it's just something he does without thinking. I don't think i would classify anything they've done as "suspicious" or their friendship as a "promotional" one, but I guess different people have different opinions. Anyway, we clearly see their friendship in a totally different light, and this convo is probably getting off-topic as well, so I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. Agreed!!!! Sorry if i went off topic, thought it speaks about yunho’s interactions with the opposite sex. It is nice to know how others perceive the same situation and not my intention to force my point of view. They can't breath beside each other without being shipped or rumored to date. After that the straight are saying " how can you say he is gay,you never even see him interacted with a girl , only with guys. Of course he can't interact with girls( expect with Amber because of course Oppa will never be attracted by her) because of the plenty of rumors made by themself. But I love how Jonghyun didn't give a fuck about rumors about it and have a lot of female friends.
