Which then got me thinking about this thread, and likely m/m relationships, and could only come up with 6 that have the possibility of being real or were real. Can anyone come up with anyone else? Meanwhile Jonghyun was constantly talking about handsome actors that "made his heart flutter" in his radio show, has a song whose lyrics are "what's in my hand is not a glass", he's always flirting with guys, etc. I think people tend to assume that people like Key or Heechul are 100% gay simply because they're campy, not because they've shown actual interest in guys. Even Minho has shown more interest / it's way more touchy with guys but people think he's 100% straight for his manly image. I've been thinking about this for so long lol. At first I thought of Key as gay and Jonghyun as bi, then about a month ago I realised there are a LOT more instances of Jonghyun showing interest in men than Key, so now I think Jonghyun is gay. Before boy got claimed, my few cents as I gave it some thoughts before. Well, it’s not very idolish behavior to be wasted and drunk and call your friends in the night envious they don’t pay you enough attention. DAY6 do have underage fans (concert wasn’t 18+), their management might not know he drinks and then sleeps somewhere on staircase either. So the drunk talk. I'd say most probably Younghyun just wanted to come over (all DAY6 boys often invite themselves to Wooyoung flat or call him with some nonsense) or at least get a ride home. He is often left in the dorms alone when others have vacations (since his only family is in Canada) and boy doesn’t really like dorms. He has no money for any real travel except for a bus ride to province either (Uni fees & no scholarship). I bet all other friends just ignored his calls in the night from the start or were on tour abroad and only Wooyoung (kind soul) kept picking up for hours. If you think ‘no one is such a dumb’. Yes, he is. Boy is even parading with the ‘calm crazy’ as a nickname. In Korea. If you noticed despite ‘being outed’ he affectionately clings to Wooyoung and awkwardly laughs and doesn’t show any significant discomfort. Even if he thinks some might consider the topic on hand inappropriate he doesn’t show concern at all. And that lead us towards the core point: he’s too open minded & doesn’t care for norms much in general. And yes, Younghyun is very vividly androgynous but that never says anything about sexuality. He’s very affectionate towards ‘his’ people and very awkward with strangers in general too. It’s hard to tell anything more since society norms are usually important for people, but he lives alone since eleven and is very comfortable with himself; add his friends are very open-minded & his band mates only tease a bit about his femininity. I would say with his obvious ‘lovestruck’ and common interest he shows to other females he’s definitely not gay. He shows the same common interest towards male as well though. It’s hard to tell if there’s anything sexual at all in his behavior or he just doesn’t care if someone might take his affection that way. But when male doesn't even pay attention if it's appropriate to sit on other males lap but get's all string up and gentleman in front of a certain female... straight af even if androgynous. Feasible 'pan' if he ever displays any of that sort with males. This is some next-level denial. Do you really think it's normal for a straight man to call another man in the middle of the night while drunk and talk about how much he likes him, how he's "always waiting", and how he's such an idiot? I don't think S.coups saying that means anything, especially as that was predebut and Vernon acts more straight now. There are a few groups where members joke that two members are dating, he probably just thought they were close friends. I don't know, I feel like a lot of the Seventeen members are oblivious. However I don't think any of these feelings have been acted on, and Vhope died a long time ago.
