What else does a man have to do to be taken seriously as a bisexual icon that he is? I mean it's not uncommon for gay people (especially in conservative societies) to say and to do things that not fully or even compltetly not correspond to reality. Dozens of gay people date and even marry people of opposite sex and stay in closet for ages. And it is way more simple to say "I don't care" even if you care a lot. Because, as we see, literally no one give a shit about such lines in Suga's songs. And imagine for a second, what would have happened if he had left only "boys". Look, I care for my bisexual/pansexual representation and I think most people can understand that and relate to it, representation is important. It kind of irks me when I see some people undermine his words all the time. It's not that much about being categorical, more, he's someone I can relate to in so many ways and I think it's completely valid that it makes me a little unhappy when people want to take everything he said away from the equation and claim something else. Especially if people try to convince me that he actually meant to say just "boys" but had to add "&girls" because of society. I've watched this back when it came out and it popped up in my recommended videos today. I can't believe they're both gone now. We Are Out! is a series in which samurai photographer Keichii Nitta cracks open Japan's taboo on open homosexuality, by delving into the intimate lives of gay and lesbian couples. In Part 2, Nitta goes to the home of international Chinese/Japanese couple Tenten and Koh. Having left his friends and family in China, Tenten found love when we met Koh. Behind closed doors, their outward macho appearance is shed to reveal an intimate portrait of modern love. Koh Masaki was a Japanese adult movie star, he was probably the most famous gay adult movie star in Japan, and one of the only ones, if not the only, who were publicly gay. He even went by his real name, which is a rarity. He was a fighter for LGBT+ community rights, an advocate, and a really thoughtful man in love with his significant other. It's so sad how they found each other and were so happy and then he died a few months after this video was posted due to complications from a routine surgery. Tenten was a Chinese go-go dancer living in Japan, he was also publicly out, both had a cult following, and he never really got over Koh's passing. I still choke up about what he wrote in Koh's obituary. He finally found happiness a few years later, he was living in Korea with his new boyfriend, Matt (who is Korean), they were so happy and then last year he got hit by a car and sadly passed away too. So sad. Tenten's boyfriend continued his tradition and mentioned Koh on his death day anniversary, and he visited Tenten's grave too for his and I legit choked up. I've kind of been keeping an eye on Tt to see how he was doing and would check up on him periodically hoping he was living his good life and when I learned he had passed away last year, I really couldn't believe it. Never thought it would be because he passed away too......? Don't even know what to say. That's just too tragic..... Who was his boyfriend btw? I didn't know he dated someone else. He started dating him a few years after Koh's passing and they lived in Korea together since his bf is Korean (his name is Matt). He recently deleted all his posts and privated his account, same with TenTen's account who he managed after his passing (didn't delete anything, just privated it). I found it incredibly sweet how he posted in memoriam posts for both Koh and TT this year, you can tell he loved TT and wanted to continue his legacy and did that for him. He was just seen in a gay club and the article writer, Amber McLean, is extremely nice about him and LGBT in general. With respect, he's a grown adult who chose to go to a 'famous' Chinese gay club and stay 'all night', taking pictures, with a man who is possibly (or not) his boyfriend and seemingly not much caring who saw him. Good for him I say. If people want to be more visible and be seen in public, knowing others will talk, then the more it will become accepted and the more pressure on Asian governments to accept LGBT+ people exist. Of course he can always get his team to deny it if he is not happy, and say he just wandered into a random nightclub. In a way, I agree with you and see your point of view, he is a grown man and he doesn't look like he was forced to pose in that photo in any way. But why is there a need to even write an article about it? Can't the man just go to a gay club without it being made into a big deal, he's just living his best life, doing things other people do on the daily but it makes news only because he is a celebrity. I have a feeling he will come out one day, but I want him to have a chance to do so under his own rules. Kino and Yugyeom went to school together Hanlim Multi Art School, to the same class, him, Jimin from After School Club, there is also Seungyoun from UNIQ, they all hang out together often, Kino talked about it during a fanmeeting before. Tbh the most interesting and sus thing about Yugyeom was his "crush" on Ten, that whole thing made me raise my eyebrows for a second, the rest seems like a typical fanservice on stage/in front of the camera behaviour, I have to look him up and see some more. Showing affection to a male fan mean the idol is open minded. He use often male pronoum and refer to his boyfriend. When did JB say that to a male fanboy? I know JB is a lot of people's fav idol to call a homophobe because of something he said to Youngjae from BAP in that celebrity bromance show (even that was taken a bit out of context, but his wording was iffy regardless and he shouldn't have said that), but his past mistakes should not define his whole existence, especially if he shows growth and change like he did imho. He seemed to have dealt a lot in the past with his own toxic masculinity, maybe he still does, but from everything I've seen, he's is a better person now. A lot of his comments to me came of like he had to reassure himself, for example, when he hugged GOT7 Youngjae and then added, "I like girls, don't misunderstand". He was/is a dudebro but I don't personally think he is a homophobe? He and Jackson had dinner with Hong Seokcheon (I think this was at his restaurant), another openly gay Korean and they all posed for a photo together. Didn't him and Jinyoung recently watched Call Me By Your Name as well? He bought the soundtrack and recommended it as well. He still has things he has to unlearn, some he corrected himself on, but I really do not think he is a homophobe.
