Here's my list in no particular order: -Heechul (Super Junior) -Jaejoong (JYJ) -Key (SHINee) -Jonghyun (SHINee) -Jo Kwon (2AM) -Yunho (TVXQ) -Lee Hong Ki (FT Island) -Eric Nam (solo artist) -Sehun (EXO) -Park Bo Gum (actor) -Ji Soo (actor) -Nam Joo Hyuk (actor) I agree with much of your post, and welcome to the thread, but I'm still gonna need you to spill the tea you have on the actors + Eric Nam when you have the time. I'm not doubting you, I just need to know more. People definitely underestimate how well most idols can manage their identities, though, especially the really famous ones. I was a little surprised when I first saw idols perform in person and saw how seamlessly they can switch from stage/business mode to "human" mode and then back again, if that makes sense. On stage they wave at fans and the like, but unless something really catches their attention you can tell it's all carefully planned and rehearsed and they're not really looking "at" people. For example, I made Seventeen's Mingyu laugh once after I caught his eye, but he was back to his careful idol persona about 3 seconds later (he was on stage, so he had to anyway). They're all a lot craftier than we think...but that just makes analyzing them more fun, as long as people don't get too delusional. Why is it that when someone throws a picture or something about Taekook, people are trying to connect the shipping thing? This is just for fun. People literally put here official photoshoots (!!!) and no one say anything. But every time someone put Taekook here, people suddenly remembers that this is not a shipping thread. So much double standard. The problem with your posts is "where's the gay?" It's not the same to post Heechul with Gunhee or something because they have a long history of receipts and discussion in this thread, but if you post members from a well know group like BTS that don't really have much of a general consensus, especially with any sort of pairings, it just comes off as shipping that doesn't really contribute anything to the thread. Give receipts on V and Jungkook both individually and as a pair if you think they really are a thing, but don't just assume that people will accept your posts just because you think it's obvious that something's going on. I think that V likes men, for instance, but I didn't really get any of that out of your posts. Also, sorry if this post doesn't make much sense, I'm half asleep. Other Shipping (hugs) get +20. i have seen Exo or Superjunior just hugging and it got +20. (cause its Heechul or Sehun so its accepted and liked.) So yes, its a bit unfair how some shipping gets hated on and some groups get away with praise for the same thing. The same goes for feminine looking posts. As long as its a feminine-looking hug it gets liked a lot. Even if its just a hug ? Its really strange. Yes, unfortunately bias plays a role too. When someone posts about people rumored to be gay (JoKwon, Key, Sehun,...) everyone likes a simple hug or just any form of harmless interaction.with +10 or more. Even when there is a feminine guy hugging another feminine member its liked a lot. BTW... i have no problem with negs. i just noticed that there is a different treatment for shipping posts. So Josaline is actually speaking the truth here. i also noticed double standards on shipping posts. Oh well, probably impossible to fix. We are just biased. All of us. hmmm... i will post a few examples below. EXAMPLE 1 (page 3033) a few pics of Sehun and Jackson in the crowd and talking... there is NOTHING here but it doesnt get negged. In fact its currently at +2. Sehun and Jackson have been icons in this thread though. It's not the same. Both of them have pretty much admitted to liking men, so seeing them together is fun and has roots in the thread. I wouldn't upvote it, personally, but I can see why some would. Yes, there are no ways at all, no clues or hints or mannerisms or anything that might tip anyone off. Jo Kwon and others like him are 100% straight unless they say otherwise. Troye is openly gay, so this suggests openness and tolerance on the part of BTS. Gay friendly idols/idol groups are always welcome here. The content of the thread has expanded a bit because of the tendency of the mods to redirect anything remotely gay here...other than gay ships.
