I read somewhere that Chefsuke is married, is that true?

If he's married, damn I hope they're not dating, that's going to be a messy situation for them in the long run.

Considering Aaron Yan being outed by a jealous ex- I dread the possibility of Chefsuke's wife(?) outing them both as homewreckers or something like that.

No, I highly doubt that he's married. Like the person above me said, in 2016 Sehun's sasaengs leaked a picture of Chefsuke, a woman, and a kid sitting together. I think it was leaked after Chefsuke, Sehun, and Chanyeol went to that music festival together, and more people started questioning the nature of Chefsuke and Sehun's relationship, both Korean and international fans. I used to have the link to the picture but it's been completely wiped off the Internet, it was posted in this thread but now it just shows up as a dead link.

 

Not to mention how for Chuseok 2017, a holiday people usually spend with their family, Chefsuke and Sehun went to the Philippines together with a few other people, and for Chuseok 2018 they volunteered at a children's home together. So yeah, I would hope Chefsuke isn't married because it would be an extremely dick move if Chefsuke ignored his wife and kid to hang out with a significantly younger man every Chuseok. And I would hope Sehun has the good sense to not get involved in something like that.

 

Edit: Would also just like to mention that Chefsuke didn't private his Instagram because of the photo, he privated it because he posted a photo of him and Sehun skiing with a couple of friends and the comments blew up with loads of people asking if him and Sehun were dating. I believe it was something like that, I don't think he privated it because people were talking about the photo.

Omgg it's almost 2019, I beg all of you, can we PLEASE end this narrative that Sehun's words were mistranslated or taken out of context. Let's talk about this video for the hundredth time lol

 

 

First of all, he says "there were really many male fans [...] and I actually felt my heart flutter!" The reasons fans started screaming after he said this is not just because it's a gay statement (although it definitely is that too), it's because the expression he used in Korean can also be an expression of arousal i.e "I felt kinda turned on when I saw male fans cheering and waving". That's why Sehun says "it's okay to say that, right?".

 

And then you have the moment of the video which can definitely not be "taken out of context" lmao:

 

Xiumin: So now are you saying you like male fans?

Sehun: *visibly hesitates and stutters* I like....men. 

 

He did not say "I like male fans", it was not a mistranslation, he quite clearly says "I like men". 

 

I think what's also telling about this clip is the other members' reactions to it. If Sehun just said "I like male fans", a seemingly innocent statement, then why would Xiumin hit him right after (at about 1:55 here)? Baekhyun was also like   the entire time lol

 

 

 

I hope we all can put this conversation to rest now, Sehun said "I like men", perhaps if you spent less time calling LGBT people heterophobic and calling them delusional, then you would be able to do your own research into things. This isn't even the gayest thing to do with Sehun lmao, remember that time Chen literally outed Sehun (at around 23:25)?

 

 

 

When they were asked which EXO member they wouldn't date and Chen literally says "this is not about me disliking Sehun. It bears repeating that I'm not saying every single one of those points proves that Taehyung is gay, this is literally just what has been said about him in this thread. I'm aware some of these points are irrelevant, but hey if that's what convinces you that Taehyung is gay then more power to you lol

 

I also haven't updated the post in a while, so for Taehyung we can add:

• Him being all flirty with Jimin at year-end award shows
• Looked at a LGBT Pride flag at a concert and smiled
• Looked visibly annoyed talking about this, and made the decision not to release the song (presumably because he never wanted it to be heterosexual in the first place)

I think some people here are forgeting bisexuality exists and dating the opposite sex doesn't make anyone any less LGBT.

 

Right? People in here saying that Kai doesn't belong in this thread anymore just because he's dated two women even though he's said/done multiple sus things, which imo indicates that he has some sort of attraction to men, and I don't think that should be ignored or forgotten about now lol

 

Also wrt Dispatch outing a gay couple, this speculation happens every single year and nothing ever comes out of it. We KNOW that there are gay couples in the industry thanks to a Dispatch blind item and a Newsen blind item - and unfortunately at the moment that's all we're gonna get, and we just have to respect that. As well as this, Dispatch said in the past that they'll never out a gay couple (or a gay idol), and I don't see why that would change now. If there is news of a gay couple it's because they consented to Dispatch revealing the relationship news. I don't think Dispatch would ever out someone because there would likely be huge legal ramifications, and there's always the possibility that if public backlash is so bad the idol(s) involved commits suicide. Even with the Jenkai news, EXO-L's and BLINKs have started a petition to shut Dispatch down for invasion of privacy and stalking, could you imagine what would happen to Dispatch if they caused someone to kill themselves?

It pretty much is coming out, but do straight fangirls really care about this kind of stuff? Yoongi, along with many other idols, knows no one (especially not Korean fans) takes note of these kinds of statements. So so many idols hide in plain sight and exist in a glass closet because they know they can get away with it. I mean, you literally have Sehun saying he likes men, Jo Kwon posting everything related to do with gay culture, Heechul doing whatever, Namjoon reading a bunch of gay books, Suho's man posting "#itsbeen3yearstogether", Junhoe and Chanyeol saying they have boyfriends, Lee Joon saying he had girlfriends and boyfriends in high school etc. And it's only the end of last year that a few K-netz have been like "hmm,,, i wonder if jo kwon is gay??? idk tho :/"

 

All of this happens and we post about it in here and yet we are still the ones being called delusional by the majority of K-pop fans, while they're out here shipping male and female idols just for glancing at each other. If international fans act like this, then why would Yoongi think he's in danger for saying this kind of stuff in a 2015 Japanese interview?

Okay ngl I'm quite disappointed that so many people in here are labelling Vernon as straight. If you actually look into him he's one of the gayest members of the group, he's done so many LGBT-supportive things in comparison to the rest of the group. Just some things:

 

• Watched "Moonlight" with his mother - as a sidenote his mother is very liberal as well
• Said his song with Joshua, "Rocket", has a gender neutral meaning to it

• Recommended the song “Fujiko†by Khary and Lege Kale, which has the lyrics “Love has no complexion, so we don't fucking owe it to anybody / To date inside our race, date outside our gender"

• ​​Said that he loves breaking limitations (in regards to wearing fashion that breaks gender boundaries)
• Went to go see the musical “Hedwig and the Angry Inch†with Minghao, the main character is transgender
• Close friends with Pentagon's Kino, who is speculated to like men - the two of them went to an Ariana Grande concert together
• Got uncomfortable when asked about a past girlfriend and said all they did was hold hands
• Said himself that he is very openminded

• Wore pants from a Burberry line that donated all proceeds to LGBT+ charities. The members of the group have also mentioned that they choose and buy their own clothes

I hope now we can end this "het Vernon" narrative just because he seems like your typical str8 bro, the dude deserves way more credit.

Also Joshua is sus to me as well, boy literally said he loves the song "God is a woman" by Ariana Grande and is a fan of Beyonce. Also this thing he said about Jeonghan...lmao: "When I saw Jeonghan for the first time I thought that he was really beautiful. His skin was white and smooth, his eyes were big with double eyelids. Do you guys think any of the people we 100% (or 95%) believe to be lgbt+ are out to their family? Like Heechul, Key, Jo Kwon or even the most obvious couple Tony and Jaeduck. You can say other people if u like.

Heechul possibly, but I haven't really thought about this. I don't think any "new" idol that has debuted in recent years is out to their family (except possibly Seventeen's Vernon just because we know his mum is open-minded with regards to sexuality). That's which I think it's more likely that Heechul, Yunho, Tony and Jaeduck etc could possibly be out to their family.

 

But for the record if someone doesn't seem very close to their family I am more inclined to think that they like the same sex. Granted, it's not a receipt of any kind, but it just makes that possibility more likely to me. Maybe I'm projecting because I'm a lesbian and I'm not close at all to my parents lmao. That's why I think Sehun is incredibly likely to be gay as from what I've seen, although he has a good relationship with his parents he doesn't seem very close to them (although other factors can ofc come to play here), especially as he's been hanging out with Chefsuke these past couple of Chuseoks (which is also a receipt for their relationship lmao). As well as this, if you think about it the idol industry is probably full of idols who don't want to be with their families a lot as you can always just say you're busy with work so you can't visit them, as well as the fact that you're constantly travelling. So in a way perhaps some gay idols who are closeted to their families want to become idols in order to avoid spending a lot of time with them (imo it's probable that this is the case for Suho).

 

But like I said this is probably all just me projecting because I can't fathom gay people having a good relationship with their family lmao, as it's something me and my gay friends IRL are not used to.

• Q: When will you date? A: To be honest I don’t have much interest in the opposite sex. [...] I was at an all-boys high school before I transferred to a school for performing arts. At that time too I had no interest in the opposite sex, and oddly I found that being around guys was more comfortable?
• There is a fanaccount of someone who talked to one of Taeyong’s old classmates, and his classmate said he was indifferent to girls (take with a grain of salt obviously)

My personal opinion on Taeyong is that he is gay as hell. He used to have a weird relationship with Jaehyun (who I also believe is gay), gives vague answers to ideal type questions (apart from when he said that him and Ten have the same ideal types LMAO...says it all really), and in general seems uninterested when girls give him attention. I think his real personality is very different from how SM first marketed him. When NCT U first debuted he had to have this "chic" quiet stone-cold image, and because of that he appeared to very heterosexual - I know that it was a popular opinion here that Taeyong was some sort of heterosexual fuckboi back in the early days, and I think a lot of that had to do with the image SM gave him (I also believe this is why people, even people here, are more likely to think that Jaehyun and Mark are heterosexual).

 

Taeyong is also an interesting person in general as I believe he may have possibly suppressed some feelings. According to him and the other members, he was extremely introverted to the point that he had no friends in high school and he pretty much only spoke to his older sister and people online. But as NCT have developed as a group, he's become a lot more open and how he acts now is nothing like how he had to act in the beginning. It's a great thing to see

I'm not really a Jaeyong shipper, I just think they were sus together, so I don't really have receipts lol. I think the main thing that made me side-eye them was how they were practically all over each other, whispering to each other etc yet as soon as a camera turned on them, they acted completely normal and almost "distant from each other". Even in 2014 and 2015 when we got updates of them via SM Rookies official stuff, fans would photograph them walking hand-in-hand to places and not really being anything like that when the camera was on. A good example of this is the birthday prank from NCT Life Chiang Mai, where they ignored each other the entire time while the cameras were rolling, yet when they thought the cameras had turned off Taeyong initiated skinship with Jaehyun in order to console him. I also noticed how Taeyong used to say that he envied Jaehyun's looks and was constantly calling him "handsome" etc. There's also this message from Taeyong to Jaehyun:

 

 

I also personally believe that the both of them are gay (and Jaeyong is only a very small part in thinking that), but I don't think they were ever in a relationship or anything like I know some shippers think. Anyways like I said I'm not really a "shipper" as I've never followed Jaeyong accounts or anything, I just think they were interesting together and most of my knowledge of their more interesting moments comes from this thread. I know the OH search function is broken right now, so if you're bored and have some free time, try and read through some posts from here. I remember a user here made a 5-part analysis on their relationship (I think it's the first post that shows up).

Also, searching what you said about that Taeil description I found this thing where each member graded the other member's personality in 6 categories.  Everyone mentioned what you said about him being introverted.

I know one korean lgbt forum (i'd say 99% of the users are gay men) and all they talk about is female idols. It's not only a white gay thing to prefer female artists sis

This is why I roll my eyes whenever someone tries to use Jungkook's love for IU as a receipt of his "straightness". People seem to think that you have to be attracted to someone in order to stan them...which I fundamentally disagree with as a lesbian BG stan lmao.
