dororo 1,698 Posted August 8, 2015 Share Posted August 8, 2015 Personally I don't think Jackson plays anything up for the screen, I think it is just really how he is, he is really extra (in a good way) and loud and has a huge personality and likes to joke around a lot. He is funny and likes to be funny. When he was on Music Access (with Mark) he said he doesn't act any way just for scripts, he's just himself because he didn't like to pretend, even though some idols stick to their image or something. And I also don't think Jackson and Youngji is attracted to each other either. I mean I will pick MarkSon over Jackson and Youngji to be really honest. I think he has a good variety sense and he knows how to get people's attention. Something has to exist in order to be "played up" right? I have fun watching both MarkSon and JackJi though, and his childish jealousy is actually quite charming. He's mentioned several times that he had originally wanted to room with Jackson. But still even without that he still pings pretty hard, and Mark seems less and less straight to me every passing day. I used to be wishy washy on him, but now I feel pretty strongly that he is at the very least not straight. I can never tell with Mark. Whenever he gets handsy with Junior I'm like "he gayyyy" but other than that he's just like a regular straight guy to me.. I'm not sure about the room thingy, but it's true he was supposed to room with Jackson at first (whether he requested it or not idk) If my memory doesn't fail me, the members talk about claiming the only single room in their dorm and Junior was the one who got it so my impression is he actually wants to have his own room. But then when he gets all clingy with JR. its like the hell got loose and he's kinda turning 180. The things that made me ping that mark is gay : 1.) He doesnt seem interested in Bae Suzy, Even though its a variety show, he didnt even have a slightest interest in her. During talks and segment, like where Suzy is talking you can see him chatting with Jr. or Staring at something and not listening to her. 2.) The way he wanted to be always close to Jr. 3.) Tuan family as an LGBT supporter. 4.) Isnt it weird for a person who grew up in LA that he didnt find kissing and skinship awkard. He can do even much as kissing. Even Jay Park find korea's way of skinship weird. 5. The way he touches butt and inner thigh of Jr. (not a very straight move, butt might not be a big thing but inner thigh is mostly off limits to straight guys.) 6.) The way he touches JR's Danger zones. The closeted gayness in this movie tho... Like, one time, Eric Nam asked Mark what is Jackson's greatest weakness and Mark immediately answered: "girls". Jackson denied it saying that he's too busy to date girls but, to me, it really looked like he was lying. Even his relationship with Mark is super platonic, Ã la JD and Turk (if you've ever watched Scrubs you'll agree that's the most epic bromance ever). He obviously adores Mark and enjoys this shipping thing but not in a serious way. I don't think he would ever be "attracted" to Mark. Or any other guy. At least, that's what I think. Anyway, there's no denying he's really open minded and totally ok with gay people (yeah I'd call him an "ally"). Still on ASC, a most definetely gay fan showed his talent, performing a girl group dance (I wish I could remember which one) and Jackson totally loved it. The guy was really good and Jackson couldn't stop praising him and even made him win the small contest at the end. Honestly, I'm not convinced by the whole MarkJin thing. Mark doesn't really act much differently with Junior than he does the others imo. I think he'd act somewhat similarly, or the same way, if it were Jackson or maybe JB. Junior however seems kinda smitten by Mark tho. For me, it's the other way around. Like, I ship MarkJin because of Mark, not Jinyoung. My MarkJin trash heart aside, I think Jinyoung is affectionate with all the members lol, JinSon dynamics are cute as hell. Jinyoung really has that nagging mom feel With regard to him being smitten by Mark, I've seen so many instances when he just flat out ignored the guy, so.. My impression of Jinyoung is he has a lot of insecurities, gets jealous easily, and craves affection.
