This thread gave me a new love for Myungjong, I remember on the old AKP forum in the infinite thread some of the members made myungjong fics 

 

Aw, I remember back in the old 6Theory days when members used to write Myungjong fic in the old Who’s Gay thread. I miss those days, even though I was only a lurker.

I'm not totally off from inner-band relationships (I fully support Sungjong and Myungsoo!) but I can't help but feel like dating outside the group would be healthier. I wouldn't be surprised if experimentation happened. Plenty of boybands become extremely close to each other because they spend so much time with each other... in the end, I'm not sure what I'm trying to say.

You’re awesome for supporting Myungsoo and Sungjong! I definitely agree though, I think in a lot of cases inner-band relationships aren't a very good idea. However in saying that, I also think it has a lot to do with the maturity of the couple in question. Like, I think as awkward as it could be, some people would be able to put it behind them for the sake of the rest of their group.

 

I also think the same thing could be said for breaking up in general. For instance, I was talking to one of my friends a while ago about Myungsoo and Sungjong potentially breaking up sometime down the road. I raised the point that because they've (probably) already been through so much as a gay idol couple in the Korean entertainment industry, the small petty things that might cause other couples to break up probably wouldn't even phase them.

milk-caramel you have a good point about Myungsoo and Sungjong being less likely to break up due to the difficulty they probably faced in getting together. That, and since they have already known each other for so long/know each others idiosyncrasies they might be less likely to break up because of that. But they are also under a lot of stress due to their work as idols and have very little privacy. I don't know. I wish Myungsoo and Sungjong the best, anyway.  

 

Mm, exactly! I could see Sungjong getting kind of crabby with Myungsoo when he’s overly protective or jealous, but I also think he’d let it go at the end of the day. I do worry about the fact that they’re in a very invasive industry though. Whether it’s the fans or the media, people are always trying to find out about their personal lives. I know it isn't highly likely, but the possibility of them being outed really does kill me inside :/ I just hope their relationship isn't effected too negatively in the end. Myungjong í™”ì´íŒ…~

I wrote mass novel-length posts about it over at Hallyu8, so I was definitely kicking myself when it went down. In summary though, I think their relationship started getting really serious around the start of Man in Love promotions (oh the irony). I also think that they've been into each other since Be Mine, however I don't think it was anywhere near as serious back then. It's definitely possible that they messed around and that the feelings were there, but I don't think they took them seriously until much later.

 

Obviously I can't say for sure though, because I'm not them. These are just my very simplified feelings on the nature of their relationship

Aww too bad I wasn't able to read it. :( Anywaysss, I asked this 'coz I'm starting to ship them lol I used to be a Myungyeol shipper but idk it seems like Sungyeol really like girls. hehe. On the other hand, I haven't seen L or Sungjong uhh let's just say 'get attracted' to girls and they seemed really very pretty close w/ each other

It’s not that I’ll *never* write huge Myungjong posts again, it’s just that there were so many of them and it sucks that I wasn't able to bring them over with me. I could have backed them up, but for some reason I assumed Hallyu8 would be there forever >.<

 

Oh, that’s awesome! Admittedly I've never seen Myungyeol as anything but best friends. Sungyeol has made an interesting comment in the past that made me think he could be pansexual, but I still think he prefers women.

 

Some of the mass posts I wrote basically outlined why I think Myungsoo and Sungjong are gay and I pretty much stand by those things. I think once people get past the fact that Myungsoo is Infinite’s visual, it’s easier for them to see that he’s never really shown much interest in girls   Or at least that’s an argument I've seen used before. “Girls love him, therefore he must love girls! Also, he’s handsome.†when in reality, those things have nothing to do with someone's sexual orientation whatsoever. 

 

I've gone off on a bit of tangent. But yeah, even though I can't get those posts back, I'm always willing to talk to people about Myungjong

Y’know how everyone always says that Sungyeol is like an elementary school kid? Well his interactions with Sungjong have always reminded me of an elementary school boy with a crush. Like he playfully teases Sungjong because he actually likes him - the same way a lot of elementary school boys push their crushes in the mud because they actually like them. I feel like it just -fits- with Sungyeol's personality ^^

Yeah, it honestly could be that he’s just playfully teasing him. Though admittedly their Trouble Maker performance did make me a little bit of a Yeoljong shipper   I don't think Sungjong's interested either though, I think he's a lot more interested in Myungsoo

I remember when the kiss first happened and people on Tumblr were arguing over whether it was legit or not. So many fangirls were losing their shit and I just sat back thoroughly entertained

Yeah, I have no idea why, but for some reason Kpop is very accessible in Australia! There's a TV program here that plays Kpop MVs for two hours every Sunday and for an hour every Saturday (iirc). In my city we also have a chain of Kpop shops, which is pretty amazing imo. The only downside of them, is that every time I go inside one I blow all my money. At least with online shopping I can *somewhat* pace myself ^^;

 

I've heard a lot of people say that actually! Like even people who aren't Inspirits seem really drawn to Myungsoo and Sungjong. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside

Also, I'm really digging the sound of the song! I was one of the -seemingly- few people who really enjoyed Man in Love, but I do like Infinite's dark stuff as well. Me too actually! Well to a degree   I love Soshi and F(x) and I used to be quite Shinee biased. I just seem to have more Woollim stuff than anything. The main problem that I have with ordering stuff online is that the cost of shipping can literally bankrupt a person   

I really, really didn't. I was still very much attached to his Man in Love hair. I wanted them to just trim it, THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO CUT IT ALL OFF. WOOLLIM WAYLT. It actually looked a lot better than I was expecting though   I suppose it fits the concept better as well, as much as I love his fluffy Man In Love hair and his feather hats they just weren't angsty looking enough. 

 

I legit think people are allergic to cutesy concepts or something! I love them though idec. Like Man In Love reminded me of Nothing's Over which was my favorite Infinite concept by far.

Exactly! Infinite is a fairly versatile group, so I enjoy when they change it up a bit. Everything that they do musically has a distinct sound, so I don't think it comes down to inconstancy or anything like that ^^

Honestly it depends on the album and where you order it from. I usually spend between $14.00 - $20.00 on the album itself and then the shipping is generally about $6.00 - $8.00. As I said though, it really varies ^^;

I don't think the translation is faked because i went to see it in the official infinite thread and none of the members has been able to say it fake. Anyway L ideal type to me just seems like an excuse, like a made answer just for that question since it always the same time. Woohyun is gay sungjog is gay also in my opinion. BUt we;ll never know unless they make it really obvious like Key or Jeajoong. But one thing i think i can be sure of is that there is at least a member that is gay in infinite because come on dongwoo keeps saying his ideal is a GIRL (==), it not the first time, in another interview he was like : As long as it a girl as long as it a girl
