Dating "scandal" are always confirmed to promote something or to hide something else. But to think that this is about something more important than the Korean governement or SM is reaching honestly. 

And Dispatch pictures are usually staged. It doesn't mean that the relationship is fake though.

 

 

Honestly... Kaistal is not random at all. If you knew where to search, there were really strong hints about Kai being in a relationship with a girl since quite some time already (I'll admit I didn't expect that girl to be Krystal but I didn't really care so I didn't really thought about it ). I don't think they're fake and I actually find them really cute together (I have no idea if they're going to last though). I strongly believe that Krystal is bisexual though (Kai is probably straight imo). Ofc, Kai could be in a relationship with another girl and fake-date Krystal but since we don't have any reason for that scandal for now, I'm just going to believe this is true.

I'm really curious about why their relationship was "exposed" though. Some people said it's for Laystal's movie but I don't think it really needed that. 

 

I will say it again but I actually don't think Baeyeon is fake. I used to think it was totally fake but now, with more informations and another perspective because of time, I actually believe they were (and kind of still are, maybe) in a relationship, though it doesn't seem to be a really happy one. They could totally be hiding their sexualities, confused, just doing what people expect them to do (etc) ofc. Or they could be bisexuals and simply into each other. My opinion on that change all the time.

They seemed (seems?) to be really trying to have something though so I don't believe that everything was planned by SM.

While I can see the Kaistal one (even tho Krystal pings me as non straight but it's irrelevant for the sake of the relationship...Jongin as well but he's honestly so complex lmao)...I can't honestly see it with Baekyeon. 

I've tried to analyze all the supposed moments and while there is actually something strange going on, it doesn't ping on me as a relationship at all. I always got the impression that Baekhyun has always liked her as a fan of SNSD and then after the relationship started they went on trying to ignore each other as much as possible (which is kinda sad, wether in a relationship or not.). I got the impression they didn't expect that shitload of hate on them so they tried to avoid each other. 

 

Tbh after observing Baekhyun a bit and seeing how much more free he seemed after the scandal, I'd totally say that was a beard. 

Unless they are bisexuals and into each other but honestly I can't see it at all. 

Taeyeon has a bit of a complex dating story, as far as the info that have reached us are concerned, but she tends to ping me as a total lesbian. 

 

And Baekhyun seemed interested to men way too much while he was supposedly dating her. I mean, if I was Taeyeon and that was true I'd totally be mad lmao. 

 

Also, the whole "couple items" things was a failed argument because all of those were given by their respective fansites. 

 

There are a lot of things that made me change my mind on them, I was actually convinced -and happy- in the beginning but then I kinda dug more into it and I'm not convinced. At all.

In the articles stated above, it is said that Roommate PD Park Sang Hyuk disclosed Newsen through phone that Byun Baekhyun had visited the Roommate house for he was invited by Park Chanyeol on June 18,2014. He also said that even if it was recorded, the broadcast date is still unidentified and that the editing of his appearance will depend on the situation. He said that it might broadcast around July.

 

 

 

In the pictures above, we can see that Byun Baekhyun had visited the Roommate house on June 17,2016, according to the date written under his signature. Baekhyun also said that he came to the house so suddenly. 

Why did the Roommate PD lie about Baekhyun’s date of arrival in Roommate? Why did he tell the Newsen staff that Baekhyun visited on June 18,2014 instead of June 17,2014?

Let us take note that it is also in June 18, 2014 that the BaekYeon scandal was revealed, opposed to what one of the articles stated above.

“Dispatch catches Taeyeon and Baekhyun on a date.â€

Let me tell you that this was the date of the scandal revelation. It is not the date when BaekYeon went out and was caught. It is possible that the pictures are taken before June 18,2014 and was only revealed on the said date.

 

 

We can also see in this scene that Baekhyun was the one who offered Chanyeol to invite him as seen in the lines, â€œI was bored, aren’t you going to invite me there?â€

Needless to say, Baekhyun was the one who wanted to visit Chanyeol, Chanyeol did not voluntarily invite Baekhyun over.

There are a few questions raised in this post.

First off, why did the Roommate PD disclose to Newsen that Baekhyun visited Chanyeol in Roommate? Compared to other guests, Baekhyun was the only guest that was questioned.

Seeing how the PD had said it, â€œBaekhyun had visited the Roommate house for he was invited by Park Chanyeol on June 18,2014.†

Why would the PD give such a detailed information to Newsen? Unless Newsen asked when Baekhyun arrived and asked whether if it was Chanyeol who invited Baekhyun or Baekhyun himself came over.

Why would Newsen ask?

 

Secondly, why would Roommate PD lie about Baekhyun’s date of visit?

He told Newsen that Baekhyun visited Roommate on June 18,2014 when in fact Baekhyun visited on June 17, 2014. June 18, 2014 was also the date when the BaekYeon scandal was revealed. 

Why on the same dates? Maybe PD nim had MISTAKENLY told them the wrong date? Was it just a simple mistake?

Now that we know that Baekhyun visited Chanyeol on June 17, 2014, why was the BaekYeon scandal dropped the day after?

 

Thirdly, why did Roommate take so much time in editing Baekhyun’s appearance?

Baekhyun visited on June yet Roommate revealed the episode of his visit on July. Roommate also admitted that the editing will depend on the situation.

On what situation?

 

What is there in Baekhyun’s appearance that is needed to be edited for a month?

Why did the PD lie about Baekhyun’s date of visit? 

Why is the scandal dropped after Baekhyun’s date of visit in Roommate?

Why would Newsen ask about the details of Baekhyun’s visit in Roommate?

 

Putting my opinion on the whole Chanbaek&Roommate thing in spoiler because I don't want to sound too shipperly (?)

 

 

There's something fishy about Baekhyun's visit to Roommate but I highly doubt that that was the reason the scandal was revealed the day after like someone's saying...I mean, Baekhyun left in the middle of the night, did they wake up poor Taeyeon in the middle of the night and edited everything in few hours? Honestly....no. 

 

BUT....there's actually something strange about that aka the fact that Baekhyun went there taking everyone by surprise, probably SM itself.   Why? 

 

- He said he went there by bus and I think it's true, we can't see the van bringing him there 

 

- Chanyeol was not expecting that. He didn't know what to do when Baek called him and didn't actually "invite" him (a.k.a. accepting Baek's request to visit) until Minwoo told him so. 

 

- Baekhyun changed his clothes and was ready to sleep there. But then the call from the manager comes bet something like "wtf are u doing m8" was in the conversation and he suddenly leaves. And this time we see the van. 

 

My take on that is that Baekhyun knew that the dating news were going to be dropped next day and suddenly looked for Chanyeol taking everyone aback, but who knows. I'm highly convinced there was something going on with Chanbaek already at that time so.....

Also the whole month of editing is....strange. They definitely had to cut something in there. Dunno what tbh.

Honestly, I'm not really trying to convince anyone (I don't think people in this thread would let them themselves be convinced anyways, not about this subject  ). I totally get why people would think Baekyeon is/ was fake. I'm just sharing my opinion since people tend to talk about them being fake as a fact and I think it's interesting to have another perspective on this, for the sake of debate. 

 

And yes, Solar is pratically confirmed for this show for what I have heard. She pings me a lot (but Mamamoo are so gay, really) so no surprise there. I don't know about Eric Nam but just the fact that he's going to be in this show makes me suspicious. 

 

 

About Chanbaek... I don't really see it (I mean the presumed relationship. I can definitely see that Chanyeol is Baekhyun's type). There is a lot of Chanbaek comments recently but I don't think there's anything suspicious.

I think Chanyeol is straight (though not 100%) and most of this recent conversations seems to be mostly shippers thoughts which are interesting but not really realistic (for me ofc). 

I feel that yes, they could have made out while being drunk one time or had that kind of relationship were you flirt without much purpose but a real thing? No. Why should Chanbaek be real but not Chansoo, Suyeol or Chanhun? After all Chanyeol seems way closer to them than to Baekhyun 

 

Talking about Roommate, the most obvious thing for me was Baekhyun's attraction to Minwoo, not to Chanyeol. I will never get over the cute face of Baekhyun when he saw Minwoo.

I agree with you about Chanbaek, and I don't at the same time......I mean. If you look at it superficially all you gather are fanservice moments and they tend to be quite distanced from each other on stage (in the sense that they rarely make any physical contact.) 

But there are so many few moments about them it would take a lifetime to post everything. I'm not saying there is a relationship, but there's a lot of tension between the two. And the fact that they've practically stopped touching each other on stage and still manage to come up with stares and suspicious things...Idk, it's kinda fishy. And I don't see it with other couples (Chanhun is adorable tho),plus SM tried to shove other Chanyeol couples down's people throat in every possible way. Chanbaek's shameless fanservice ended in 2013.

Plus jealousy it's a big thing when it comes to them. They're a bit possessive with everything, but that multiplies x1000 when they're with each other. 

But again, it's a matter of how someone looks into the same thing.

Baekhyun actually visited Chanyeol on June 17, but it was announced that it happened on June 18 and left at night in a hurry. also, pics and articles were dropped on June 18, but clearly pics were taken way before that day. few days or even few weeks before, while they were preparing this whole stunt. this kind of things doesn't happen in 1 day.

I get what you means but I honestly, there are fishy moments for other ships in Exo that I don't consider real. The biggest difference is that (like Kaisoo, Hunhan, Sulay...) it was pushed by SM in 2012, which brought a lot of shippers and thus more posts of "evidence" for them.

It's also a matter of perspective : those gifs of Baekhyun getting jealous of Chanyeol hugging Kyungsoo can be seen as : "Chanyeol trying to hug Kyungsoo, this is so cute, he always seek Soo!" OR "Baekhyun is so jealous of Chanyeol lmao It's so obvious he wanted to hug Kyungsoo". Only, the Chanbaek shippers are more vocals and post more things (and also write more "evidence posts").

 

 

"SM tried to shove other Chanyeol couples down's people throat in every possible way." I strongly disagree.  Spoiler because I'm talking about ships.

 

 

I understand that non-fans would think that way, maybe, because Chanbaek must be one of the most talked ships of Exo outside our fandom but coming from a fan, that is surprising. I mean it's really obvious that Chanbaek was the ship forced down people's throat (though, like 98% of exo ships, I love them together). It was a good choice of SM because they both easily do fanservice and had that chemistry with each other that was/ is convincing to fans.

 

For other Chanyeol ships... Except Chankai I don't really see it. Maybe I missed a lot of things? I'm really curious about why you think this tbh (and I'm not hard to convince if there's logic in arguments  ).

My opinion is:

Chansoo were always really close (just... Kyungsoo knows Chanyeol's parents) and it just started to show on stage too, mostly from Chanyeol initiating things. Kyungsoo has just recently started to really do fanservice and it's mostly with Baekhyun. 

Suyeol seems close enough to joke all the time but I don't see them doing fanservice enough for it to be described like you said. 

Chanhun are more promoted recently but still, it's recent so it's not too much.

Chankai was mostly promoted during 2014/ Exo showtime and yes, it was too much sometimes. 

Chanyeol's ships with Lay, Xiumin are pratically non-existent. And I can't say anything about Chen because right now, I don't remember anything 

Recently the ship promoted by SM is really obviously Sebaek, since END I'd say. Xiusoo a little bit maybe?

 

 

 

 

Tbh I follow quite a lot EXO ships and I can totally see what you mean, if we had to take EVERYTHING into consideration everyone could be real. 

But honestly, altogether,  few of them ping me as much as much as Chanbaek in terms of actual tension (pinged *sighs* Taohun *sighs*)

Again, I don't have an actual clue nor I'm convinced by the fact they're dating, I just think that, overall, after 4 years of closely following them and comparing them to other ships, I can see the difference.

Is it that because they don't have the added factor of Baekhyun's obvious crush ^{(99% convinced on this one)}? Yes, why not, but who knows. 

There's a lot in between friendship and serious relationships, especially in a situation where you tend to stick to each other a lot like a boyband and it's actually easy for things to happen. 

But it could be just me, I could do a proper analysis on that but I don't wanna become a spammer plus I mean...it changes according to people's perception, I guess. 

 

Yes, I'm mostly talking about Chankai, which went on the verge of annoying at some point. Like every ship that's being forced too much. 

But also Chansoo was pushed a lot by Chanyeol, and this time I think it mostly came from Chanyeol, which is indeed very keen of fanservice with most members (not that they aren't close, of course, they are a lot indeed). I feel it was pushed by SM in a sense, but it was much more genuine. 

I just felt that Chanyeol tried to push other ships than Chanbaek a lot, late 2013/beginning of 2014 especially. Then Chanyeol and Baekhyun grew closer again and it kinda toned town (and it could totally be a coincidence, that's just what I remember noticing back then.)

Chanhun is being pushed lately, but they're really close, I think they sticked a lot together after Tao left. 

Sebaek is so obvious, about Xiumin ships....they tried to push Xiusoo a bit on stage, but Xiubaek also grew a lot closer last year. 

Xiubaek is the perfect example of how Baekhyun can have other very nice ships (I could actually like it more than Chanbaek, tbh   ) and still Chanbaek pings me more.  

 

Honestly it's just a matter of different perceptions on the same matter, confrontation is good

I haven't seen him have any interactions with women so I'm not sure, but I have a suspicion that Taeyong isn't into women. If not leaning towards men, then asexual at most. I'm really bad at these things and looking at it from a Western lens though, so take it with a grain of salt

i tend to overanalyze things and read too much into stuff, but this is just my take on it

 

It may all be an impression and maybe he's just very clingy (quoting Yuta "he just wants to be loved") but the more I look into Taeyong, the less I'm convinced he's 100% straight. He's really touchy but sometimes it doesn't look like the "friendly" way, he actually gets shy about it.

 

Talking about NCT, for some reason Yuta stopped pinging me since his debut, maybe it's because he's far from Hansol and Ten lmao
