It’s definitely shipping culture that’s making it go wild. Add on to the fact that Doyoung and Haechan specifically weren’t being filmed so it makes it seems more real and like they have a hidden relationship. Even though Taeyong was being filmed directly to the side of them and Doyoung would’ve known they were being filmed as well. DoHyuck has always been a popular ship in Korea so I can see this getting out of hand quickly but I just hope they don’t get shit for it. I truly don’t believe they have anything going on but if they indeed do this would be a terrible way to get outed in any capacity. Hopefully it’ll die down soon but idk

I respect how Heechul has ventured the topic as respectfully as possible. I do find it odd that he would rather pretend to be gay than outright deny it in the past but knowing how much more the anti-gay sentiments ran I can forgive it and see that it was done in solidarity

I’m gonna be honest. I believe it’s just the ship of the season. Every comeback or 2 there’s a ship that NCT kinda pushes (sometimes excessively which makes it comical) and for Kick It it’s YuMark. It’s always easy to tell when it is cuz it’s always so exaggerated and happens in almost every other instance. Haechan is definitely wild lol and to add Jaemin and Haechan also kiss each other on the necks all the time. Both on and off cam. He’s so confusing to me cuz back in the day Mark accused Haechan of kissing Jeno and he looked embarrassed but when he remembered it he admitted it confidently that he kissed him and ran from Jeno lol (btw it was on the cheek lol) 

recently the dreamies specifically Jaemin has been more forward with skinship with Haechan and for the first time I’m actually seeing Haechan “gay panic” lol like boy one day someone’s gonna call your bluff and actually kiss you back lol 127 ain’t like the Dreamies. The Dreamies definitely do skinship more naturally but I guess that’s cuz they’ve really grown up together.

I know Korea has a history with epidemics like sars and mers so they didn't fully shut down like alot of other countries but its interesting to see how many people are constantly going into restaurants all the time and the sheer amount of people that are clustered in these clubs. Clubs more than anywhere else should've closed for a longer period of time just due to its very nature of the lack of space between people when dancing etc

It's the person who initially came forward claiming they saw Jungkook at a gay club in Itaewon. Even though they apologized and confessed to "lying", according to dispatch, half of what this person said was true. They indeed were in Itaewon. It does make me wonder if there was more truth to what that person was saying as well before they felt the need to apologize. It's not like dispatch is against causing idols scandals, but they definitely wouldn't cause one about an idol's sexuality. Therefore, I don't put it pass dispatch to omit/change certain details or to have negotiated before hand with the companies about what details they are willing to not mention. That's all just me theorizing though.

I definitely think the possibility of them going to a gay club is equally as likely as a regular club. 

Either way it does not actually confirm anything about their sexualities if they did go. 

I just find it funny how people insists the very notion is outside the realm of possibility considering all that we have heard so far.

I completely understand where you’re coming from but also for me it would make sense if 1 of the guys went to a gay club and got found out somehow but 4 popular male idols going together? No way. Maybe if it was a group of female idols since it’s generally acknowledged that girls go to gay clubs to not be harassed but unless they really had no fear whatsoever I don’t think a group of popular male idols would be caught going to a gay club. Wow the absolute reach. Mark probably gave Haechan a bible because Haechan is also pretty religious. Haechan used to be in his church choir and has a ton of predebut pics at a church camp like thing with his family. He was also actually seen attending church just a year ago. 
 

from everything Mark and Haechan have said it seems most of their fights was because of personality differences. I highly doubt Mark who left Canada to pursue music would want to leave Korea just cuz a random trainee might or might not be gay.
 

Edit: just read over some of that blog and holy shit it was a lot. Particularly when it came to Mark umm yeah I disagree lol he’s sus as hell. They said

Oh you don’t have to worry about Haechan this boy definitely knows how to take care of himself lol and it seems Haechan actually got into quite a few squabbles pre debut. He and Jaemin even physically fought before. According to Doyoung, Haechan was very quick witted and assumed authority with the new SM trainees even though he was only like 13-15, I’m sure for a new kid like Mark he was a lot to deal with. From what I’ve seen of Mark and Haechan so far I really don’t think any of their fights was due to any kinds of homophobia. They’ve mentioned a lot that they have very different personalities and get into arguments easily

He’s so hard to place cuz he treats everyone exactly the same. He has the same attitude and skinship with Mark as with Jeno as with Jaemin. From some behind the scenes stuff I’m fairly certain he is into girls but I’m kinda curious to know if he’s straight or bi. People like him are really so hard to figure because they know exactly how fanservice works and they’re super confident. And when they’re also the maknae in the group it becomes a whole mess

As Haechan has gotten older most people are pretty sure he’s straight. When he was younger Haechan knew a ton of choreo for both boy groups and girl groups and he was very open with his skinship towards his members. He never seemed nervous or awkward like the others when doing fan service so some people thought maybe he might be lgbt because of how comfortable he is with everything. But honestly it’s that comfort that makes me pretty sure he’s not actually part of the community and is just a skinship loving person in general. It’s also hard to tell cuz Haechan really hasnt interacted with girls that much at all since debuting but the few things he has talked about girls or just romance in general just seems like his interest is mostly on girls. It’s hard to tell with people like Haechan cuz he’s super open and almost never gets nervous. Well visibly anyways.

Sometimes a cigarette is just a cigarette and guys doing gay shit all the time are just gays. Haechan does a lot of fan service obviously, but it doesn't mean that he is not gay because of it.

When i first got into NCT i legit thought Haechan may be gay cuz thats how the fandom talked about him but the more i looked into it (cuz i related to him so much) I realized there were no real receipts other than that he knows girl group dances, and does alot of skinship and therefore has the most ships in NCT. There were also videos of him checking out Joy in that rainbow dress (but i mean who wouldn't) that i was like wait. I think the most telling was when Mark excitedly pointed out that Haechan kissed Jeno on the lips during their mv making and he froze but then confidently owned up to it when he remembered that moment a second after. He said he did kiss Jeno and ran away (turns out it was a kiss on the cheek) He never gets embarrassed or shy by anything he does with the members idk if its cuz he's just very confident in himself or that he's known the members since he was 13 so they're just family at that point and its just fanservice. possibly both. he may very well be bi but because of the severe lack of interactions he's has had with girls its hard to tell what his reaction would be like.

It might be in the future how all things are. When one person finds the strength to come out it inspires so many others to also come out and then so many will come out of the woodworks that we had no idea. But unfortunately it’s so incredibly difficult to be that first one. Everything is unsure and they’ll receive the bulk of all the hate and rumors. If they’re then accepted it can be a safe zone for the others to follow. But man..it’ll definitely be hard because they would have to want to be a pioneer. A lot of idols I’m sure get to a point where they’re less active and are able to quietly live their life with a partner w/o ever being outed so they’d have to actually go out of their way and announce it to really make waves in the community.

Imagine being at the age where your sexual drive is the highest and not being able to meet any girls, my friend told me that there are a lot of instances where their eyes meet and they would end up dating (they are usually heterosexual with homosexual tendencies). Because they are at that age, a lot of idols would also want to try getting in a homosexual relationship at least once since they have that hormonal drive going on

I think what she meant is that multiple idols from 1 group will date multiple idols from another group 

like how it came out multiple snsd members were dating various 2pm members

as Lee Joon has famously said the idol dating scene is like a “wild animal kingdom”

but I do agree that there may be some ppl dating within the group itself. Key and Jonghyun were always sus to me but we’ll never know .. it’s more likely though that the lgbt members of the group are either too afraid of outing themselves or are dating outside the group.

Maybe because SM artists have limited to no interactions with the opposite sex, so maybe that is why I cannot see him a girl. 

Jeno: Gay. I think there is very subtle evidence and I feel my analysis is mostly just feelings. I haven't seen attraction to the opposite gender (when he had interactions). There are videos that showed his clinginess to his bandmates (Jaemin, Renjun, and Chenle) and sometimes those interactions did not feel fanservicy (with the exception of some of JM interactions). Also the 2020 rely cam with Renjun, Jeno, and Jisung, JN just pinged to me lol.

Although they are good friends, I believe that JN had (or still has) feelings for JM. When SM was pushing the Nomin ship, I believe those feeling became deeper on JN's end even though he was not always the initiator. Furthermore, those recent Candylab photoshoot videos made me more suspicious ofJN. Blowing on JM's neck and touching him. I thought to myself that maybe this is not fanservice because what is the point on doing all that at a photoshoot lol. Plus JN just looked like he was into it lol. Furthermore, a Korean twitter user pointed out that JN was caressing JM's butt while they were taking pics at the photoshoot, which isn’t initially apparent when you first watch the video. I do think anything is going on with them. I believe it was mentioned in a 7chillin ep that he does not hang out with JM that often (I could be wrong on this).

Side note: With SM pushing shipping pairs (Yunho x Jaejong; Donghae x Eunhyuk; JN x Jaemin), I found it interesting that besides these ships at least one person in this pairings have been speculated to be either gay or bi outside of their ships (Jae, JN, and Eunhyuk). Just an observation a made.

Jaemin: Straight, possibly bi? I noticed that once the dating rumor occurred, the forum went from thinking he was gay or bi to straight lol.I thought that was interesting to note. With this comeback he seems more introverted/private, does not interact with members much?, and there is not much screen time of him, so it is hard to analyze him. In the past, I think JM was definitely played up fanservicy, hyper affectionate persona just to please his fans, which made me question if he was straight. Nevertheless, I do feel that he still might be on the spectrum?? Sometimes he was too comfortable with the fan service. Aside from the past fan service, I still think he ping, especially in the past.

I have very similar thoughts after watching them for a while now. I wouldn’t be surprised if NCT Dream is most probably all straight. they do tons of fanservice but it mostly seems rooted in friendship or just very obvious fanservice but sometimes….

chenle/Jisung - straight

renjun - straight. I’m like 90% sure Chenle and Renjun are the “straightest” 

haechan- straight. He does a lot of fanservice and has a million ships but he really doesn’t give me queer vibes at all 

jaemin- possibly bi probably just straight. He used to ping a ton when he was younger. Now he seems more closed off so it’s hard to tell

jeno- possibly gay.  there’s nothing specific but there’s just something about him that I can’t pinpoint. 

mark- super sus- maybe bi.  I feel like if you don’t watch him a ton he’d seem very straight but he’s just sus. his interactions with Daniel have me he tends to show all his emotions on his face and idk even w/ some members he makes me side eye him alot
