So I've been following this forum for a GREAT WHILE, and I can't help it!! I had to join and make an account ^ u ^ Seriously, this forum has been such a lovely thing to read, it's always filled with such interesting and abundant opinions~    I'm happy to join in, as I also have an opinion! (But who doesn't, right?)

I'd like to start with BTS, as I've been overjoyed at the ample speculation and 'evidence' for each member. I love you guys hahahaha~ So just my two cents on each member, from what I've  seen/drawn from them.

 

Namjoon: As much as my hidden feels might want it, I think Namjoon is just a really great, accepting person. He'd never discriminate against someone, and he's really sincere in his kindness towards each member. As said before, he posted and praised Macklemore's "Same Love" predebut, and since he studied abroad before I felt like this has opened up his *really* intellectual mind, even more, if he weren't already. I say he has mad respect for everyone, from all walks of life. I truly respect this man in more ways than one. I think he's just a great, supportive straight ally.

J-Hope: I feel like BTS, or perhaps K-pop in general, has made me fine-tune my gaydar a bit better. I mean, I'd never thought Hopey would ping me upon just getting into the group. BUT with the wealth of videos and such (and some great stuff from here), I'm viewing Hoseok in a different light (definitely not a worse way). He seems like a super burst of radiant happiness and energy. I can totally see him having the hugest unrequited  crush on Jimin  He seems to be realllly into him, like he has true feelings behind skinship/fanservice. He pings me now hahaha especially when he does really excessive antics, such a loveable guy. VHope is no joke either. Somehow, I'd think he's bi.

V: He can be so ambiguously mysterious for me. He's so aloof, but I really can't put a finger on him... He really does perplex me. I feel like he's too much of a happy soul to mind genders, but I dunno. He's just so precious.

Jimin: I had the biggest crush on this dude. He was my bias wrecker for how long. But I'm always attracted to the straight ones.... dang my forbidden fruit desires.  I'm pretty sure Jimin is straight, and just massively plays off 'crushing' on the maknae  I'm sure there's a bunch of admiration instilled within his relationship with Kookie. Chim is super cute, but I can tell he's super into women. XD Dang his adorable babyface. But he's comfortable with everyone in the group, and he even acknowledges his fanboys cutely, so I'd say he's a straight guy who is very comfortable around anyone, regardless of orientation.

Jungkook: Honestly I don't have much to say about the maknae. Some people say he's too young or whatnot, but idk I feel like he's just way too into perfecting his talents (which he has loads of) to really care for relationships now. He's the golden maknae for a reason.  He loves the attention from his hyungs though, if that matters. He just seems like a growing, straight boy hahaha. Too cute for his own good though.

Jin: OMG. My first bias ever. He kinda pinged me from the start, it might just be the stereotypes that he seems to fit in. However, he seems very... sheltered. Like maybe he's really deep in the closet, purposely. Idk, for Jin, I feel like he's either in denial/super closeted, or a poor straight dude who just happens to fit into gay stereotypes. He has feminine mannerisms from time to time, feminine interests/role (cooking, being 'motherly', although he's more like that very caring, stuffy eldest hyung). THAT ONE BIT ABOUT HIM AT HIS ALL BOYS' SCHOOL AND THE KIDOH 'BOND' REALLY STRIKES ME ODD THOUGH. Like, that interview, where Suga brought up Jin's 'experience' at school during a confession holiday, Jin looked super uncomfortable and was like "I knew he'd bring it up but i wish he hadn't". It was as if something did happen.... But then again, this was aired, and what if it was really minor/irrelevant? I felt like them choosing to keep that in the airing suggested that it wasn't something that could possibly damage his career if explored further. Idk what I'm rambling on about but eh. And well, the Kidoh thing is pretty self-explanatory with previous evidence. Although I felt a bit sad yet unsurprised about when Jin was asked on a postit (?) about his relationship with Kidoh, and he replied "I'm not gay, haha". This only furthers my thoughts that he's either uncomfortable/unable to label his orientation internally, or he's just straight but looks, well, non-straight.

And last, but DEFINITELY NOT LEAST, my bias Suga!

There's so much support for his behavior and personality traits from here that it made me all fuzzy to think of Suga as such a great, nonchalant guy. He really HATES the ideal type question, and I'm so happy he stays true to himself by replying as ambigious as possible. I respect him so much, but the way he carries himself and is brutally honest just adds to his appeal. It's quite possible to me that he's bi or pan, by his actions alone. I hope he is tbh

THAT CYPHER LYRIC REALLY CAUGHT ME OFF GUARD. He's so edgy, writing a lyric like that. I mean, it could point to him being egotistical in his rapping prowess, but hey, considering he WROTE IT HIMSELF and truly writes from his heart (most of the time), I'd say it's quite a bisexual thing to say LOL. He could send me to Hong Kong anyday

His replies to Japanese interviews make me so fuzzy for some reason (his intentional ambiguity maybe). BUT recently, it seems as if Haru Hana is stepping up to make his answers more socially acceptable  It started with those pesky translatiors' notes, in an attempt to normalize Suga's answers by adding that he meant girl for his answers, which were, expectably non-discriminative between genders. THEN I STUMBLED UPON THIS today.

TOTALLY HETERONORMATIVE....     Like way to rain on Suga's ambuguity parade. I'd imagine he'd be annoyed (or maybe indifferent) about this segment. Well, I still think he's bi, or even pan, since he seems so dedicate to music and his craft. More reasons to love Min Yoongi, everyone.

 

 

 

Ahhh! I read your post. Omg, it really seems heartwarming, your personal encounter with the boys. But I will say, Jinyoung does ping me. And it was so ADORABLE that JB hugged you so warmly! He's such a bias wrecker, I'd probably melt into a puddle after such a hug. Aghhhh he's tooooo fine.

If they took away some of the parts, this could've been Playboy 1.0 xD. Some people said it's the singer singing from a female's perspective but I'm gonna keep thinking the singer is in fact a guy singing to another guy *shrugs*.

 

I love how in Playboy, there's no "she" or "her" or "woman" or "girl" or whatever ~(As far as I know)

 

 

But what sucks is when people add in those pronouns to a song that didn't originally have them. And seeing how

LGBT+ friendly Jonghyun and how he's most likely LGBT+ himself, I can totally see him writing a song about a guy
