Which male idols do you think are gay?

I literally never heard anyone say that it was my fault that I got discriminated, sorry you did.

 

The only thing I experienced was homophobia, because some of my friends happened to be relieved that I was attracted to men too, not only women (because they didn't want me to be a dirty lesbian, of course).

 

If I fall in love with a woman I'm going to date her. If I fall in love with a man I'm going to date him. Gay people cannot fall in love with the opposite sex, and some have to live their life pretending that they do.

 

Unfortunately, I don't think that my struggles as a bi person are worse than gay people, so I don't get offended by simple facts. Not everyone is the same, most certainly.

My problem with calling it a straight relationship is that it implies that a bi person is straight when they date someone of the opposite sex.

I can't pretend to be straight any more than a gay person can.

I grew up in the southern united states going to a church that told me I should be stoned (that sermon was led by my grandpa btw) for liking the opposite sex at all, not just falling in love with them.

I get that you haven't experienced it but some homophobes hate bi people just as much as they hate gay people.

I've experienced all types of homophobes and bi phobes that have different ideals and opinions about what or why to hate someone.

Yeah I could pretend to be straight but i would be a lie no matter who I was dating and it would hurt just the same.

I will say I love how I say something is offensive and people immediately jump to tell me a hundred reasons why it shouldn't be.

When I'm at Christmas dinner around my homophobic family who talks about stoning the gays I keep my mouth shut.

I can't change their opinion and it will only hurt me if they knew.

 

I feel like it's the same for celebs but on a larger scale.

 

Especially in Korea, they could loose their friends, family, fans and career all with one sentence.

 

Not everyone ends up as Hong Seokcheon and even he went through sooo much pain to get where he is now.

 

People have a right to protect themselves.

I don't feel like they should be shamed for that.

 

I'm just glad there are so many idols who have shown support for the lgbt community despite the actual danger.

heechul needs to drop gunhee. gunhee liked a post on instagram a couple weeks ago defending seungri & even now after everything’s exposed, he’s STILL following seungri on insta. idc how cute they were in the past, gunheechul is dead to me! RIP :(

I hope it was just because he thought he could trust him and not because he knew about it...

There are a lot of people who haven't unfollowed Seungri yet though~ Sandara Park, Jackson Wang, Yang Sehyung etc. They just might not have thought of it yet.

I just don't want it to become where we can't talk about him. Like people shouldn't say bad things about him (and I don't know what post you are referring to because I didn't look yet) but if we stop talking about him all together then it is even worse. Jonghyun was very supportive of the lgbt community and was one of the only idols to openly support it to the point of controversy. I think we should never stop talking about that because it shows what an amazing person he was. I miss him and I always want to remember him. I don't want to stop talking about him even if tears won't stop falling from my eyes if I do.

I think this thread is not just a rumor thread but as we have shown in the past is is a thread where lgbt people can lean on and maybe even get a bit of hope as they see who in the industry could be like them and who is making it despite so much being against them. To say that to discuss a beloved person in our community here is like to say that this thread is a bad and creepy place in my opinion. Which I don't believe it is~

it is completely different subject on (which idol supports lgbt ) or (jonghyun’s opinions on lgbt)

Ten people agree with you and I don't. I understand you are hurt but what hurts me is to not see him. It would hurt me more than anything to see him banned from being spoken about.

Maybe you are the one who doesn't understand this thread since you only look at the title to understand it. The people here are not as shallow as you seem to think. It has never ever been just gossip. It gets constantly bashed and called creepy but we kept going because in the end we know it's not just a gossip thread. 

As another thing, I believe Jonghyun was gay and that is was important to him. So we shouldn't erase that either. It isn't gross to talk about if someone was gay after they died. Imagine if people refused to say freddie mercury was lgbt after he died because it was creepy and weird and an insult to his memory. I think he would be furious.

I really don't understand why it would be hurtful to refer to someone who has passed away as gay unless you think it is an insult.

Unless you mean it hurts to see him mentioned at all in which case I'm sorry but I will never stop talking about Jonghyun.

If it is wrong to say someone who has passed away was gay then it is wrong to say that someone living is gay even more so because it affects them more. Do you then believe this entire thread should be shut down? Because it is creepy and weird to say other people might be gay? 

There is nothing wrong with being gay and it is perfectly normal to discuss the deeper meanings in his music.

What happened to him was a tragedy but HE IS NOT

We can talk about him without bringing up what happened to him every single time. We can talk about his happy moments and his life because he was a person and there was so much more about him to celebrate than to only think about what happened to him.

He is not just a dead person but someone who helped me to live for years. And it is completely absolute normal to discuss the sexuality of an artist who passed away people literally do entire essays about the sexuality of authors and artists because it matters a lot in relation to the meaning of their work!

Anyway if you don't want to post about him go ahead^^ I'm going to post about him as much as I'd like~

1:40 Yuvin here seems awkward about skinship with men at first but then after seeing A.C.E be comfortable with it 2:15 it seems like he relaxes more and even ends up asking Chan if he wants to eat his lips. 6:40

Also it seems like Yuvin gets more comfortable with A.C.E after they touch each other~

edit: to expand on this a bit, whether Yuvin likes men or not I think its helpful for someone like him to be around guys like A.C.E who aren't so strictly masculine.  Honestly I think Byeongkwan (and A.C.E in general) is a good influence on men who could be caught up in the idea of having to be very masculine.

So Wefreaky's Junhyeok recently mentioned that the original lyrics for Jonghyun's She Is were supposed to be "Oh shit" instead of "Oh she is" but they had to change it for release. Basically meaning it's possible the song wasn't meant to be about a woman since there isn't mention of it being a woman anywhere else in the song~

I remember that. Those 'fans' literally cornered J Pearl into denying he was attracted to men by bombarding him with comments about dating Suga. He'd bought him some nice presents as a thank you for their work. And perhaps the lesson to take away is don't publicise your private stuff on Instagram. 

It was probably strictly professional but even if they did have a nice little thing going, people of course totally killed the mood. As if JP was ever going to openly state he's dating a well-known male idol just to please rude af shippers. What did they expect? There are some real idiots in the fandom. 

For the record I recall someone on here saying J Pearl had a past era with a fellow male idol that was interesting. I don't know enough about him to delve into that but perhaps they'll repost if they're still here.

but I'm seeing people call the US a very open non conservative country so I just kind of want to make sure people know that there are still many parts of america which are very (hurtfully) conservative. I went to a church when I was younger where my own grandfather gave a sermon about how gay people should be stoned, and everyone there said amen. So yeah america isn't exactly a gay utopia and there is a lot of suffering that still goes on here~ Sorry if I'm bringing up hurtful things for anyone, it's just something I felt I needed to say~
