I guess it depends on what people consider to be 'homophobic', not everyone has the same opinion on that. In my opinion it was, there was no need for him to make those 'jokes'. People will think differently. However, whether homophobic or not, it didn't have to be said. I've been lurking for a LONG time, but just now decided to make an account and join the discussion a bit because I'm really curious.... Do you guys have any examples of Jonghyun showing interest in women? (I mean stuff where you can really tell, since obviously he has to talk as though he's straight.) Because it's extremely clear to me that he likes men, but I've been on the fence about whether he's bi or gay. Things like him and Heechul hi-fiving over "not discriminating" about who they kiss could be taken as more bisexual but idk... Sech Kies was on radio star and they kept poking jaeduk about tony and gura suggested they should get soulmate married I can't even remember what they talked about but it seemed like everyone knows they are together. Oh and I got the feeling from the talk in radio star that Jiwon used to not get that they are a couple and kept saying that jaeduk shouldn't live with tony etc. Then he said something like that now he doesn't think them living together is weird anymore. So either he realized they are together or he is no longer homophobic. Dunno. But all of the people there seemed totally okay with tony jaeduk couple. Ya'll should watch it. Do you know where I can watch it? I s2g, every time they go on a show, the hosts say they're like a married couple (so this is one case where it's definitely not a cultural misunderstanding). Tbh at this point I can't even muster up the surprise to the disappointed in JB. He's shown time and time again that he has very rigid views on masculinity (and a lot of other things to be honest). He constantly makes it hard for me to fully like him even though he has his sweet moments It is interesting to view him in contrast to GOT7 members such as Jackson, who is very comfortable to hold the hands of other men, say that he is going on 'dates' with them etc. Yet also manages to be (in my opinion) the most masculine member of GOT7. Jackson is a great contrast because he can be masculine without slipping into toxic masculinity. He has muscles and plays sports and all that, but he doesn't seem at all anxious about being perceived as masculine by others. I remember him going on a show where he was trying to get close to this guy who said he didn't like skinship with men, and Jackson dead-serious said, "Then think of me like a girl~" And on the recent Jinson date, he wasn't at all trying to project that he was "the guy" as many guys would do. Just the opposite, he kept whining for Jinyoung to put his arm around him and catch him when the subway shook. Actually, even JB said once that Jackson is totally different from how he looks, that he's extremely soft-hearted and has a lot of jealousy.
