Personally, I want to see more of this so-called 'evidence' that Jinyoung oppa is gay because this thread seem one million percent convinced by some hand holding, a few looks and a baby bottle. LOL. Speculate all you like, that is your freedom, and some of the posts are funny but that one post (about Jinyoung and Jackson oppa) annoyed me so much! To just to say 'he is gay' just like its an empirical fact? Like its a full gone conclusion, End-of-story. That is wrong, its rude, not to mention misleading and defamatory. You can have opinions, but it is wrong to masquerade opinions as facts. How is it rude, lol? It's not rude to speculate that someone is straight in any culture that I know of. Use the thread search function and search for Jr., Junior or Jinyoung. You'll find years of analysis. And to turn things around a bit, who are you to say that gay people can't recognize other gay people? Some things are just gay, cultural differences or not. Frogurt 7,163 Posted January 18, 2017 Share Posted January 18, 2017 (edited) honestly, i'm not really sure about inpyo; for a long time i thought he was obviously gay, but then i thought he seems like someone who doesn't care at all... but yeah, he leans more towards men, so maybe he's gay and not bi. so, the thing with hyunuk is, that he's generally more quiet (unless he's around people who he feels comfortable with). for a long time, i wasn't sure about him, but his interactions with hocheol are suspicious. it's like, he only cares about him, and his whole attitude changes. i also never saw him being interested in the female fans. they do hitouches every concert and sometimes i see some boys being interested in one of them (and not really hiding it), but with hyunuk - nothing. also, there are those fanaccs: Click here to view the Tweet is it just me or does this seem kinda... weird? idk Click here to view the Tweet he doesnt like either or is it just that he doesn't like girls? He and Hocheol are so cute. I really can't with Boys24. Even some the eliminated members were pretty gay. Anyway, for me: Gay: Hongin, Hocheol, Inpyo, Inho, Jaehyun, maybe Isaac Bi or pan: Haejoon, Jihyeong, Jinsub, Yonghyun, Louoon Confuses me: Hwayoung, Sungho, Chani, Minhwan, Woojin Minwhan and Chani are adorable, but they just give off good friend vibes to me, they don't have the awkwardness and receipts that Jinsub and Jihyeong do. Woojin got a boner from watching Inpyo dance once, but ever since then he hasn't really been suspicious. Who knows. Eh, I should have put Yonghyun in the confuses me section. He doesn't really ping so to speak, but he seems to have a much softer side of himself that he hides from the others and only shows when he's with the Hocheol crew or solo cameras. He kind of reminds me of how I acted when I was still closeted, like I had to project different images to different people to hide my true self because I thought it would give me away as into guys as well. None of this is necessarily indicative of his sexuality though, so I don't know. Louoon I'm pretty certain about. I think he knows that Hongin is gay and is maybe a bit attracted to him. His reaction to temporarily losing Hongin to Unit Green for the December swap was a bit telling (he seemed so devastated, lol), and the fact that he's already finished with his military service might make him feel more comfortable expressing who he really is. He just seems like a laid back bi guy, maybe a bit more interested in girls, as opposed to say, Haejoon, who can't hide his thirst very well (poor Youngdoo lol). Hwayoung is just hard for me to read. I love Chani, but I was avoiding reading too much into him because of how much my type he is (oops). I haven't noticed the stuff with Jihyeong, but I don't doubt it. Chani mainly confuses me just because of how much he clearly KNOWS how cute he is. He clearly loves attention and doesn't care who he gets it from. Frogurt 7,163 Posted January 24, 2017 Share Posted January 24, 2017 (edited) One of the problems with this thread is the fact that almost everything has been discussed already, and opinions don't really seem to change much over time, so there's not too much new stuff to add...and learning about new stuff was half the fun for a lot of people, or at least that's what it seems like. It's not so much that BTS/EXO/whatever are discussed too much, that's always been a case with this thread for popular groups at whatever times (see how the early posts were almost always about SHINee or Infinite, for example), it's just that people always want new material (myself included), and that's not something that can be rushed. And what might seem like new material to some may actually be reposted or rehashed material to long time readers, so I feel like it's probably a bit harder to jump into the thread as a new poster, which also doesn't help with the lack of subject diversity. And I would talk more about Seventeen and other groups I follow and have receipts for, but my opinions haven't changed much either since my last postings on them, so it wouldn't be too much new material. I noticed this a lot about my posts whenever I posted about GOT7 more recently, for example. They just seemed like rehashes. The thread is also generational, so users leave over time and certain groups or artists fade more into obscurity in the thread (although some endure, like Heechul ), so we lose a lot of history, but that's also been happening since the very start of the thread. And he's also a rapper which, I know, doesn't equal him being straight but I just think that there are much fewer LGB rappers than singers, actors or dancers. I would've even said there are almost none if it wasn't for Frank Ocean. He wants to be a singer but got shot down when he was still a fetus. He learned how to rap afterwards. Anyway, I've never been sure about Vernon. He certainly used to bring the gay out of other members, though. And of course he was friends with diva Seungkwan. It may sound like I'm exaggerating a minor thing but hear this: when I asked my female friend if there was anything about me that made me seem gay, one of the few things she mentioned was the way I fixed my fringe. According to her, it looked a little too gay/feminine. So when I just saw Vernon do the same thing, it pinged me. It's probably not much in terms of receipts but from now on I'll pay more attention to this little guy.
