Doyoung's brother (Gong Myung) IS a total babe, but honestly Doyoung pings me more. Gong Myung pinged me a bit with Key, but Key makes everyone shippable. Doyoung seems a bit more uncertain about how he presents himself, and I've never seen him be interested in women. Gong Myung could be the straight ally of the duo. Or bisexual. Here's hoping~

Eunwoo is exceptionally beautiful, but as a whole I feel like Astro is one of the most beautiful groups across the board. I feel like they don't get much credit for it though. Maybe it's just me and I have weird taste.

Eunwoo is so hard to read, though. He's never really shown interest in men OR women from what I've noticed. He was really kind to Hong Seok Cheon on Law of the Jungle (and I think they're friends now), but that's not proof of much. MJ and Moonbin ping me sometimes, but not in any really conclusive ways. Rocky seems like a straight dude, Jinjin is the same as Eunwoo, and Sanha is a baby.

Follow up to Jo Kwon's friend... his instagram is private again. It didn't even last a day. The stupid comments were left in English and I'm certain it was an international fan that left them, and like... idek. People continue to stun and amaze me with how vile they are.

 

At least it looked like the comments were mostly coming from one person, and there were others telling them to shut up. Still absolutely disgusting though. The culprit was named like "whatifladygagablockedyou" or something.

It's hard to tell with Winwin since he's only really starting to come out of his shell now due to getting better at Korean. During NCT Life in Seoul, he barely spoke at all, but he pretty much completely won me over during the more recent NCT Life: Korean Cooking King (he's so cute!). I'm not sure yet about his orientation, but he sure knows that he's cute and uses it to his advantage. He likes to use aegyo to manipulate the other members into buying him stuff or helping him out in some other way, and I bet he does the same to SM staff too. Kun called him "cute, but dumb," but it's hard to tell whether he's really like that or if it's an act he uses. I haven't really seen any interaction with him and women yet, but he did ping me a bit in the Firetruck MV. Anyway, have some Winwin being adorkable:

B-Joo - Much to the Hanjoo shippers dismay, I'm voting straight for him. What really solidified this for me was one particular video where he wanted to give a copy of one of their albums to a girl group that he liked. Through the whole awkward interaction, it was clear that he really liked one of the members.

Just saying Jr is "smart and gay" seems not right, did he make an announcement? You cant just make him a gay guy because you said so. Based on what? Its's not right. And Jackson seems like one of the manliest idols in K-pop he seriously seems like the least likely guy, yet you talk about him, like are you just fantasising it? Search the thread if you want evidence. There's plenty of it. And Jackson is probably the member of GOT7 most in touch with his feminine side. He fangirls and squeals over things that are not the least bit straight, but since he's big and an athlete, he can't be bi? And when has Jinyoung ever shown interest in females? Jackson has shown interest, but never Jinyoung.

 

And most importantly, what's "not right" about people thinking someone is gay? Sexual orientation isn't something that has to be announced to even be suggested. Nobody treats straight people that way. People here are supportive of LGBT people, so we wouldn't do things to harm anyone's career.

unit sky: hyunuk (gay)

also, i think jinsub/jihyeong are dating and that inho/sungho and hyunuk/hocheol could be a thing (or at least hyunuk is really interested in hocheol)

I respect you guys opinion too but a lot of this so called 'evidence' is taken out of context, Jr sucking on a baby bottle he got at a fan meeting makes him gay? He was just imitating the baby, in any case, people play up to the cameras when they are around, why you think you're seeing the 'real' them is beyond me.

Like I said before I was told someone being manly doesnt excuse them for being gay/bi, in that case, neither does being feminine, reserved or shy on the topic of girls. Don't act like you dont know 'hwarang' culture - that is a mainstream culture that doesnt exist outside in the West as much (thats how I know you guys aren't Korean). You have to practice what you preach or you're being hypocrites. Right now everything people have be since in defence is a contradiction. For example everyone knows holding hands  (people being close putting arms, legs around each other)  isn't a gay thing in Korea, It doesnt mean anything, I know because I i lived there and people do all the time, girls and guys, young and old.

Are you Korean, or from east Asia at all, bc i kinda agree with these observations or stereoytpes through the prism of a westerner eyes but in Asia people dont think about that. The whole, "I cant do this bc people might perceive it/me as gay" complex does not exist, if it did, no guys would wear make-up, experiment with fashion or be remotely interesting in hwarang culture. you're answering your own question YES masculinity ISNT as fragile in Asia, thats why dont feel self conscious about doing the things you post on this thread as so-called evidence. This whole thread is a cultural misunderstanding. Gay Koreans themselves talk about suspicious skinship and mannerisms, so your premise is false, and this thread isn't all through a western cultural lens. The thread is years old and over 2500 pages long. There is a lot of serious and diverse analysis in here if you look for it. People here like to post gayish stuff as well as speculation because a lot of people who post here are LGBT themselves, and also because Onehallyu merges or redirects anything gay related to this thread, so people don't really have much of a choice. The thread started out much differently than it is now. Read it if you like, but enough with the sweeping generalizations of what we post here.
