Glou 2,430
hm...hi? i've been in this thread for a while what do you think about that? like...sehun always pinged me by his behaviour...but hes still confusing me af and i saw some ppl who seems pretty interesting in sasaeng/rumours stuff calling bh a liar i googled for some tea and back in 2014 feels like it was a pretty common knowledge (even for i-fans) about sehuns ex-gf? Like, at the same time or? Just kidding. No idea if that's true, but he wouldn't be the first gay guy to experiment with girls (Jaejoong's pre-debut girlfriend, anyone?). He could be bi too, or mostly romantically attracted to boys, but still enjoying sex with both. The idea of Sehun with a girl though... It seems a bit surreal.
Glou 2,430
I heard the rumor about that was a girlfriend SM gave to him because of a really gay behaviors pre-debut. I'm don't know if that's true but's seems like plausible thing? After all he had did such a situations like this (Two cool mens~ Eunjae/Jaejoong.) Ah, these photos... Considering the placement in the second one, I'm not even sure they were kissing, but that's clearly suspicious. I'm still wondering to this day why no one seems to remember them. Does anyone know where this Eunjae now? (and that's not one of his sisters this time). It seems a bit unlikely that SM gave him a girlfriend pre-debut, told him to walk with her in the streets, where he got randomly interviewed with her... But maybe... I mean, that's SM after all... Edit: Reminds me of this: He did basically come out there, right?? (10'45) He's saying his ideal type is a guy, and even checks with a someone ( a manager I guess) if he can say it. Or maybe this is all scripted since Yunho knew and wouldn't out Jajoong like this. Maybe this was a private joke? Glou 2,430
Well suju Was getting old,so they had to spice it up right ? To get the fangirls and keep them? What do you mean hes living his life for the fangirls? Are you saying he may or may not have taken advantage of the perfomances to smooch of his members? I say he did look way to into it to be straight tho Heechul kissing his members might be fanservice, and he is indeed a big fan of J-rock where it happens quite a lot. But if everything gay he does is fanservice, then a huge part of his life (including private life) is pure fanservice, hence the "dedication". Sleeping (literally at least) naked with Gunhee many times, spending holidays with him, exposing their little cute moments on instagram, bringing him on WGM (which IS fanservice in itself!!)... Also, depression isn't fanservice. And I can believe someone might be sad to be separated from their friend, but Heechul's depression when Hangeng left was (imo) too serious for that. He stayed at the dorm for weeks, cried on stage, looked dejected, wrote a sad love song for Orange Caramel called "Shanghai Love" (come on!!), sang the saddest song on the radio... Then decided to enlist when no one expected it. That's a bit too much for fanservice, don't you think? I do believe Heechul knows girls like it when he kisses boys on stage. But I also think provocation is part of his character. And I would personally consider snogging Siwon in public a huge victory in itself if I were him (I'm sure Siwon's dad LOVES Heechul ). Hidden in plain sight... Edited July 26, 2017 by Glou
Glou 2,430
You're right. Taehyun probably wanted to be the perfect doting hyung but then was caught off guard and confused by Daehwi's openness. I wonder if Taehyun will see skinship with other men the same way now. Daehwi got him shookt. And can we appreciate how Donghan just smiled gently and nodded when Taehyun laughed after the "no boundaries in love" remark? He seemed like a wise old man (who pings). Ah yeah, the infamous friend who likes skinship so much that his friends started to do it too. (1'40, but the whole video is interesting) Edit: WAIT, is it the same one? How many Hotshot members are friends with Kai and Taemin?? Edited July 27, 2017 by Glou
Glou 2,430
Ok, so I'm all for the happy couple with Jimin and Taemin, because I do believe they are both gay (took me some time for Taemin), and they seem reaaaaally happy to be in each other's presence. But can someone actually explain how this is different from the way Taemin behaves with Kai? And I don't buy the ship pushed by the company for these two. Their friendship probably helped Exo at the start but that's it. Now, they could be in an open relationship I guess, but like... still, can someone tell me what they think of it? (I'm still confused about Kai too btw) 7

Glou 2,430
an opinion: i think jimin from bts is straight because he shows attraction to females! a rude opinion: i think jimin from bts is straight because westernized lgbtqia views dont exist in south korea. maybe if your opinion doesnt offend a group of people, we wont drag you? trust me we have seen a person coming to this thread saying jo kwon is straight, but we didnt drag that person since they said it in a polite manner and a logical reason. btw if "westernized lgbtqia centric view" doesnt exist in south korea, how do u explain hong suk chun? asian countries are slowly moving forward. you and your conventional mindset are what keep us deep in the closet anyway this is from 2 years ago but i thought it could shed some light to the thread: Arashi member announces that he is gay It came as a shock to fans all over the world when the member of the popular Johnny's group Arashi announced via an official press conference that he is a homosexual. About his sexuality, Masaki said, "I've been keeping it a secret for a long time, even from my group mates. But today, I want to proudly that I am a gay man." The idol was hit with a flurry of questions from reporters. While many male celebrities have had their sexuality questioned, Aiba has been under no such suspicion. Given his various dating rumors and scandals with women in the past, it would have never been expected that Masaki was indeed interested in men. About the scandals, Masaki says "I used those scandals to cover up my sexuality. In a way, I was convincing myself that I was something that I am not." When asked what his group members think of the announcement, he said, "Of course, I told them all first before telling the public because they are my best friends. They all accepted me warmly, and I felt even closer to them." Masaki declined to comment on Johnny Kitagawa's reaction to the news. for the comments: 2. 匿å 2015/04/01(æ°´) 21:28:05 +2399[/size] Aiba-kun is gay?!! I'm afraid this is just a really bad joke. The source in the article links to this: https://ja.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/エイプリルフール which is the Wikipedia page for April fool's day in Japanese...Considering the Johnnys in Japan, they would never do that. They can't even have their pictures taken, or date girls publicly. One guy who was underage and drunk lost his career just like that. So an Arashi member coming out??? It would be amazing, but I Can't see it happening really. Also, we would have heard about it by now if it was real.

Glou 2,430
Hello French friend ! This is very old, but I knew in the past that bracelet colors mean about sexuality. http://forum.doctissimo.fr/psychologie/techniques-seduction-drague/signification-bracelet-couleur-sujet_4511_1.htm I'm sorry if my information is wrong, I though that can help to know sexuality about some Korean men if someone wear often blue bracelet. Definitely not something that we use on a daily basis. I remember reading about this several years back for special nights at night-clubs (I don't remember the specifics, though). I think it's more like a code for special events. So it's really not likely that a Korean man would know _and use_ to show his sexual orientation, especially since most people would assume he IS straight by default. Also... Doctissimo forum... could we maybe just not? (I know you were just trying to find a source, but the fact that the one that seemed most relevant was Doctissimo (and not even one of their articles but the forum) should tell you a bit about the relevancy of the thing itself). Glou 2,430
yall are so selective damn. The thread is more than 3000 pages long, there are plenty of arguments and counter arguments about BTS members being gay (or not). When you're new to a thread, search first, then ask questions if you didn't find the answer already. If you have new information to provide, or a personal point of view to give (with arguments and receipts if possible), then do so, but know that some people might disagree, and you might have to further explain your analysis. Yes they're a bit selective, and they probably should avoid that because what you said was slightly less simple than that. But this is the nth time it happens. People come here asking for answers without searching the thread first, giving the same overused stereotyped arguments, and refusing to provide receipts when asked. If you don't recognize yourself in this description, then prove it, it's quite simple really. We all had to do that. Also, double-posting is forbidden here. It happens of course (computer issues and such), but if you can, try to avoid it, and use the editing function instead please. Now since we're on the topic of BTS, and since you all managed to make me a fan after months (okay, more like a year) of denial (and to say I was trying to escape from Kpop...). This is indeed a confusing group. And an interesting one (aside from the LGBT analysis too...) Stigma for me is obvious. Lie isn't. Stigma doesn't give leave much to interpretation (imo) while Lie could very likely be about the idol life, eating disorders or other mental illnesses... Not saying Jimin is straight (it seems quite unlikely to me although I might need more time to analyse everything), but I don't think that song is the key. I am the kind of person who thinks most people (like, more than 50%, not 95%) are probably bi/pan, but that lots of them will never acknowledge it or even be aware of it. I mean, it took me YEARS to realize I had been having crushes on some of my female friends. Even though I have a very open minded family, live in a very LGBT friendly environment, and have always had many LGBT friends... Also I'm a girl, and bi/pansexuality in girls is much more accepted (and known!) at least in my country. So I can only imagine how long it can take for a boy brought up in South Korea... So I'm not sure Jungkook would be aware that his crushes on IU on GD are similar (if they are, I mean, I'm not in his head!). I'm not sure RM would be aware of it if he is anything but straight (I have always been very vocal about my support to LGBT people, have read quite a lot of books dealing with it... BEFORE even starting to think I wasn't straight myself). Jin and Jhope are confusing to me. It's all about their stage persona, all about being "too much", playing a role... So I can't decide which parts are real. Taehyung, for me, could very likely be gay. Not even bi. But I'm not sure. At all. I'm just pretty sure he likes boys, like I'm pretty sure RM likes girls. Suga doesn't ping as anything (imo), but his words say a lot. I think there is a lot more to him than what he allows us to see too. Jimin... pings. But it's hard for me to pinpoint how exactly. Also, RM and Suga were part of the underground scene, that mocked them later for becoming idols and wearing make-up, so they might have learned not to show some things. And Jin, coming from a rich family, must have learned very early that appearances are important. Now about the ships... The thing is, BTS seems like such a tight-knit group that most of the ships are believable at times, if given the right video extracts, fan-accounts...etc And yes, at times, the three youngest are suspicious... It reminds me of Kai, who is very convincing with Taemin, but also with D.O., and at times could have given me doubts with other members (please, not now dear person who must not be named...). Jungkook's video in Tokyo was confusing... The song is very gay, the focus on Jimin smiling all the time too. But I'm not convinced. It could be a cover of the original MV, or just someone who likes his friend a lot?? It's almost "to good to be true", you know? Too in your face, too obvious, too easy... No idea. Ships are dangerous though. Especially when all of them kind of look not straight. Edit: Okay, it wasn't supposed to be that long... sorry Edited December 9, 2017 by Glou

Glou 2,430
OT, kind of, but I wouldn't dare asking somewhere else... I'm sorry Why is Key not wearing the same armband and thing on his chest as Taemin, Onew and Minho? They are all chief mourners, right? It was written on the board... I doubt the funeral home would provide only three of those if there were four people registered. I'm not thinking well right now, it's late into the night and I have been crying for hours. But I can't help wondering. And I really hope not, you know? I really hope it's nothing. Like he forgot or something. Does it make sense? Losing a friend is hard enough as it is. Glou 2,430
For god's sake, again? Changmin is not homophobic. He didn't like fanservice, didn't like Jaejoong clinging onto him, and he wanted to be his own man and not the group baby, but he's never done or said anything that indicated he wasn't supportive of those around him. I've already gone through this and not doing it again, but I've followed him for years and if he gave any indication that he was truly bothered by anything LGBT, I've never seen it. It's a bit annoying that this keeps coming up. Definitely! Changmin had an issue with Jaejoong, not with gay people in general.
Glou 2,430
This might not be an indication of him being gay, but I found this relevant to the thread because "Stigma" has been analysed various times here. This is tae speaking a little about it Click here to view the Tweet Whether it is really about him being gay (and it seems like it is, at least in part) or about something else, it's just so sad... Glou 2,430
Now that you've mentioned this show, i think you guys need to see this (sorry if it was posted before, i've only been back here recently) Jaejoong was more excited to see that cute guy Samuel more than those girls or anyone else in that room and he couldn't stop himself from smiling and giving him heart eyes, i'll be surprised if anyone still thinks he's straight at this point. I'm not sure if he's gay or bi but from what i've seen of him through out the years i'm positive he likes men. there's another clip here where they're taking videos of each other then they hug and jaejoong kept whispering something to him for like 10 seconds. I agree that Jaejoong is definitely not straight. But Samuel is also definitely not an adult. And Jaejoong is almost 32 (33 in Korea) so... I think (and hope, really) that Jaejoong is just trying to protect him because he went through this before as a young singer. I don't think there is anything sexual or romantic there. Jaejoong treats him like a baby.

Glou 2,430
But yeah can we talk about asexuality or is that too off topic The way I see it, there is an issue when talking about prejudice and hardships as some (many?) people think that asexuality doesn't bring you as many problems as being gay, lesbian or bisexual does. Which seems quite true (people get killed for being gay in some places after all). Nevertheless, although the LGBTQ* community is based in part on uniting against prejudices from society, I think it's not that right to exclude ace/aro people from the debate. Like, let's be honest here. I'm a bi/pan(?)sexual girl, not sure about romantic stuff, I'm really bad at it. But I live in a country where it's (mostly) fine, and most people around me are fine with it. At worst, my dad might not be very happy if I brought a girl home, but he wouldn't do anything against it. So do I suffer from being LGBT? Not really (not from people's hatred at least). Should I consider myself LGBT then? Well, that's a question I've pondered upon for a long while now. I don't experience prejudice (for now at least). So am I that different from ace/aro people? I don't know. But this thread, I think, is more about representation and less about prejudice (although it IS important too, especially when talking about the idol industry in Korea). We need representation. Gay, lesbian, bi/pansexual people need representation. Trans people too, but that's not about sexual orientation anymore (still relevant though. To this thread? Not sure. You tell me. I believe we talked about Jonghyun's reaction to trans people being discriminated against at length, and it was really nice... And now I'm sad again.). And yes, definitely, ace/aro people need representation too. So if you ask me, Minsung is a welcome subject here. But well... 9
Glou 2,430
I'm so nervous about what HSC is going to talk about Heechul in KB this week... I mean if it is something to help him look straight then that's fine and expected, but like the talk on media and comments about how straight they always thought Heechul is is so tiring. Please make it gay... The Sunny episode was so great, esp the latter part of the episode with the skit where she made him act like a celebrity that had just come out as gay. I wouldn't count on that. The trailer looks incredibly cringy. And if it IS gay, it's not going to be the same old joke. I sometimes wonder how HSC can be okay with being used as a joke all the time. Like, yeah, okay, he probably wouldn't have any public career anymore if he refused. But it makes me sad. Also, I think I'm starting to really have issues with cross dressing as (only) comical relief these days (but maybe I'm just angry and stressed out, so don't mind me).
Glou 2,430
Oh yeah, you see women almost naked in ads everywhere, straight couples this close to be having sex on camera, and it's all good. But as soon as two men are kissing, it's chaos everywhere. Hide your children, you never know, it might be contagious. Not sure about two women kissing. It is seen as an entertainment for the straights after all. The double standards... 21
