I don't know. Maybe I like the idea of him going against the stereotype and/or statistics. This sentence really rubs me the wrong way....I definitely disagree. And while a feminine straight man may be nothing special, if we use a set of characteristics as a part of the tell, they should be significant at least to a degree. If they mean nothing, they, well, mean nothing. You can't have both. Besides, I don't like the idea because it should be "right", I just like the idea in his case -- maybe because he gives me the external characteristics but little of the core, so to speak. Nobody should change just because others don't like it. And gay guys who are feminine sometimes got bullied in the gay community too.
