I've watched several episodes of This Is Infinite and y'know, the way he do things and talking are a bit girly... I still have my doubt for Key's sexual orientation tho. I mean, I've been watching his WGM, he looks sooo excited to join the show... It is surprising people think they would be jealous over a woman. they are two very cute but also very sweet boys/guys Hey, I've been following this discussion for a while now but never really had anything to add before, but I'd like to say something regarding Heechul and WGM (though I suppose it could ultimately apply to WGM in general).... I won't quote anyone in particular because there's been general discussion, and feel free to ignore this if you aren't interested lol Basically I think you're labouring under the incorrect assumption that Heechul agreed to be on or even desired to be on WGM, whereas to be honest, I don't think he had much choice in the matter. If you look at how he behaved during filming, it took him absolutely ages (halfway through filming) to even acknowledge he was on WGM, let alone to take a photograph or anything with Puff - and this is somebody who posts on Instagram at least once a day, so that was odd and out of character. When he did post photos, they were usually with Gunhee, to the point where I mistakenly assumed he was doing a photoshoot or something rather than a honeymoon because there was just .... no sign of a wife. In fact the post that I think best summed up Heechul's attitude during WGM filming came not from him but from Gunhee, who posted a video of them basically messing around captioned "came on a business trip but we were bored to death". Like....... that's the way he sees his marriage? A really boring business trip? Wow, totally romantic. And as for the second query people seemed to have ('why would he let Gunhee be in the programme itself?'), I'd invite you to consider the alternative. Don't you think it'd be more suspicious if he was there the entire time but never appeared onscreen? Being on WGM allows them to introduce him as two things - Heechul's hairstylist and Heechul's childhood friend. In reality, he's neither of these things; idk if Heechul pays him for this or what but he has his own job and doesn't always attend Heechul's schedules - and no one else has a personal hairstylist anyway! And secondly, they did attend the same as children school but they lost contact after that, they literally did not speak or have any contact whatsoever until 2011 when they coincidentally met again.... the 'childhood friend' excuse is a pretty convenient way to cover why they're so close, basically. As a final point, I think you guys overestimate how much the public - or even fans - pay attention to things. Of course on this thread every little thing and new development gets analysed and considered, but outside of this thread that really isn't the case. To carry on with my previous example (Heechul), I even see fans of different members of Super Junior occasionally commenting on his Instagram asking who Gunhee is, so I think to imply that Heechul isn't being careful isn't quite true. He might not be being careful, but he doesn't really need to be; those who mind generally aren't paying attention, and those who are paying attention are big enough fans/supporters of Heechul that they don't mind what he does. Sorry this post was so long and pointless Hee does seem to get into the filming and acting, at least more than Key does. The parts of Key's show, that I've seen look so BORING, there is absolutely no chemistry there. At least Hee and Puff seem to have fun together, but I feel more people watch it waiting for Gunhee to come on screen. Their relationship is far more obvious and 'out' on Instagram, I think it is a way for them to express who they are. I remember the Singapore article "Heechul and friend Gunhee go on a trip to Singapore" and they actually posted the pic of the two of them in bed together with matching pajamas. Like DUH Friend Gunhee. I agree with your analysis that Hee would not lose many of his 'fans' to his coming out. I think over the years HeeChul's fans have come to love him because he's very different and never does what is expected. I think true SuJu fans and Hee fans 'know' who Gunhee is. Those who don't by know, just aren't paying attention. I read comments on Gunhee's Instagram getting mad at him for being with Heechul and it makes me laugh. I know pictures are not enough, but: - Do we need more evidences with him? - Jae-diva is always relevant - Look at this pose! - Look at this tattoo!!! Seriously, Jaejoong?? Not sure if I'll be able to make many other contributions seeing as Super Junior are my only real "area of expertise" (and even then I'm unsure about a lot of them tbh), but I enjoy watching you guys discussing other pairings and idols too I have never though Siwon was the best looking, although he is handsome. To me Sungmin has always been the hottie of the group, he's gorgeous and I've always though he was secretly gay. Ryeowook of course too. I really can't figure out Eunhae. He is perfect for this role, it suits him well and you can see how well he does it. I think he was hoping for less criticism but that role is 'over the top' in the way it is written, so he's going to appear 'very gay' I loved the movie and its very over the top gay, so I'm sure the musical will be too. It is a bit gay for Korea, so it will be interesting to see how it goes. The more he distances himself from being gay and just playing a role the more silly he will look IMO. He's embracing himself well now. I'm sure JYP encouraged him. I mean how could you be around JoKwon all these years and not know. Where did all that muscle suddenly come from? Isn't he normally like super scrawny? Wow From what I've seen many of their fans are shippers who tend to view people as "gay for X" instead of just "gay", hence why females are competition but not other males. Even when publicly in a relationship people still don't 100% believe it I think GunHee has that small frame and thin body but he is built with muscle. He's just not a big guy in size and stature. It's pretty clear that Heechul has no intentions of hiding who he is/settling down with a girl. Maybe he posts so much with Gunhee on purpose to get people used to not only the idea of him always having a boyfriend/male company, but also for when he decides to move in with that person (who will probably be Gunhee). Because he can't stay in the dorms forever right? Or can he? I'm sure they all know who Gunhee is oh, yeah, i guess i didn't even think of him buying his own place. it just seems superflouous when you're spending all your time at someone else's. but to keep up appearances, when you have the money... i do agree though. if he buys his own place, then i think essientially it will turn into them having two homes/constant sleepovers. I'm not sure how much money he has, compared to say Jae or Junsu or Brian Joo, they all have great condos over $1M, but I'm sure he's got some cash. (I'm pretty sure there are some people thinking and saying that actually...) Hyeong Seop (I hope the spelling is right...) is (or was?) Key's friend. He's also close to GD, and all I can think of is "good for them"! I'm sure GD and Key, with their undying love for (questionable) fashion are also happy to have a famous model friend after all. These Kpop idols are not stupid. GD and Key are used to people trying to befriend him out of interest. They must encounter people like that all the time. I think they know by now how to make a difference between unilateral interest and mutual friendship. I think it is only natural for people and celebs to want to take a pic with a famous model and vice versa. Doesn't mean that Hyeong Seop is doing it for attention. I do agree that his fan base did get big and started when he was with Key so much. As for GunHee, you know it wasn't done for that. Out of 21 of us, there were around 7-8 who chose Dress White, which is the one against it. I wonder what's the norm hahahaha, whether having 30% of a class being unsupportive is little or many... And I realised I learnt alot from this thread because Singapore is a conservative country and I have never heard of any LGBT person here. My classmate despite being pro-LGBT didn't believe me when I said "LGBT isn't a choice" lol. See! I knew it was going to be simple, but I couldn't figure it out.
