Since they have sasaengs and a lot of information that is sadly not revelead to international fans, they should obviously know a lot more than us, right? If a gay couple gets outed "against their will" by a major publication in Korea, it's extremely likely that the couple is in on it behind the scenes. Otherwise the publication would have no reason to break the taboo, considering the hate it'd get from the public and the shunning it would get from pretty much every major talent agency. It's potentially company suicide if they do it against the wishes of the idols' management. Edit: not to mention lawsuits. The most likely scenario is that the couple's management decided to go forward with it and made a deal with a publication so the publication would take the heat from the public and the idols would be partially shielded. This way, even though the public would give the publication shit, it would still have the favor of the idol world behind the scenes. Putting out a rumor of the reveal before the fact is very likely a bid to test the waters. If the reaction is too negative, it gets filed away as a false rumor that never panned out. If the reaction is positive enough..... well, we'll just have to wait and see. This actually makes sense! I guess only a couple between big established idols would be able to accept this. Gaining a lot of new fans, getting CF deals, being talked about etc. BTS are great example of trending group. Ikon?...who else?Got7?idk. For girls it's definitely Mamamoo, Gfriend and Twice. It's none of the older groups. Exo maybe but... Infinite were trend-dol in like 2013. What i saw though...someone mentioned it's group that debuted in June. It wasn't mentioned in the blind item/rumour but when it showed up back in September, apparently that's what was being said. And that narrows it down even more...to BTS,lol. Mamamoo debuted in June too but they have 4 members... Infinite also debuted in June but they do not really fit otherwise. But if it's really BTS...who would be the "chosen two"? Anyway, i do not think any outing is going to happen and that's good. If it was some older group with solid stable fanbase, group that achieved everything they wanted, group in which all the members already completed their military training, groups that has nothing to lose, is huge enough that no scandal could destroy them...then ok, but this?...nope no. This would be really messy. Yeah, actually the first group that came to my mind was BTS.... Rap monster, on the other hand, keeps confusing me he doesn't ping me as gay/bi, but the extent that he openly supports LGBTQ* issues and representation makes me think; like the world literally needs more people like you Rap mon On a side note i feel like I'd fall for Jimin's genuine kindness too if I knew him personally I wonder if the reason he is so openly supportive is because he knows some of his bandmates are gay/bi/pan. And it's not the first time I've seen him look at TOP with what are basically heart eyes but in this episode it was so in your face, it was kind of hard to miss. I'm someone very cautious with idol shipping because I really believe around 98% of the evidences we are presented for any ship are either fabricated or fanservice or weird angle/cut that makes things appear in a certain way. As an old kpop fan, I have seen so many times some 'evidence' get proven false that I'm super careful now, but things like this, Jiyong smiling and acting like a school girl when looking at TOP, is kind of hard to dismiss as nothing. Bigbang got me into kpop last autumn and I remember that this is the first interview of them that I watched. I didn't know anything about their orientation, and yet G-Dragon pinged me so hard ... there is no way that this guy is straight. Idk if GTOP were together or not, but their predebut Cyworld messages are very suspicious. But I highly doubt that they are dating right now, I think GD has a crush on Seungri. (They were a source of comfort for me during a hard part of my life and when all the shit happened to them in 2011, especially what Daesung went through, it was really hard for me, so I took a really long break from kpop). I personally never saw the GD/Seungri thing. To me this is 100% fanservice. Not saying they aren't close friends and it's obvious Jiyong dotes a lot on him and Seungri admires him but I don't see any romantic/sexual spark between them. Don't neg me, this is just my modest opinion as a fan who has been following them for years. I can see Ji being into Daesung sooner than him being into Seungri (and actually Ji has shown several times how much he digs Daesung's glorious body). About Gd and TOP, the cyworld messages are typically an evidence I would take with a gigantic grain of salt because screencaps of old long deactivated accounts are sadly very easy to be manipulated. To me things like the Happy Together video or Ji's behaviour during their starcast program when TOP was in Japan and the 2 of them were on the phone, are more meaningful in that sense since I can trust what I see. Not that I necessarily believe they were or are an item but I really do believe at least Ji had and still has some kind of crush on TOP. Also how every time TOP gets a new interest in art for instance, soon after Ji starts getting into it as well. I know how fanservice-y Nyongtory is and that Seungri is straight, but to me, at least from GD's side, it looked like genuine attraction. Time really flies by so fast I don't wanna write a big long essay, but basically I think it's pretty obvious GD and TOP had a thing. GD's so bad at hiding when he's smitten, and the fact that he doesn't appear 100% over it even now I think suggests that his feelings were not unrequited. If they were unrequited, he would've gotten over it when he found a new person to pour his love onto. But more into the present, I actually think NyongTory is real. It's taken a long time to arrive at this conclusion, but it doesn't really make logical sense for them not to be. It's super obvious GD's obsessed with Seungri (and not in a big brother kind of way some people try to dismiss it as), and Seungri for his part is either leading GD on big time (which goes completely against his personality), or he genuinely reciprocates those feelings. It's gotta be the latter. Because think about it: You know that a man you look up to and respect deeply is in love with you but you don't return his feelings. What do you do? A) Respectfully distance yourself until he gets over his feelings for you no matter how long it takes, or B) Sleep with him (in the same room/bed), cuddle with him (fanservice or not, physically it feels the same), share clothes with him, let him buy you things (including jewelry), go out on dates together just the two of you, become close with each other's families, let your parents publicly ship you two, call him "oppa" (which is super mega gay between two men), keep calling him your boyfriend, and so on and so forth? There is no way Seungri wouldn't go with A if he didn't return GD's feelings. I don't know what Seungri's sexual orientation is, but it doesn't really matter. It's so obvious he and GD aren't platonic. They could be hiding in plain sight? I just hope Kai doesn't called "traitor" from audience like it happened to Baekhyun. people still think that it's an april fool's joke, but if it doesn't get denied in the end, shitstorm is coming. it's Kai after all and EXO-L's won't be so forgiving :( It won't be as bad as Baekyeon. They could be real, but I have some doubts because the couple itself was (to me) so predictable. The entertainment business is so shady and there are so many fake couples, regardless of their sexuality. And this is a SM couple, and I don't really trust SM. Fortunately, the reactions are positive. About the extremely big news about another exo member dating which will be revealed in the second half of the year, how do they know, if the couple is real, that they won't break up by then? (Not sure if they are trending tho) They kind of fit every information that was given to us. Plus, 5 years is a long period. I can definately see the couple being from EXO aswell, but only with members that trained for a year or so. So, Baekhyun is crossed out. Which couple from Shinee though?
